Reawakening of the Spirit


Year: 2006

Plot: Two years following the end of the battle with Mesogog and his evil forces, Doctor Thomas Oliver has settled down to a peaceful type of living in Reefside. He receives a knock at the door a few days after and is shocked by the return of his former girlfriend, Kimberly Hart. The two began dating and eventually fell back in love. Neither had any idea, it was this outcome which would resurrect the evil spirit once again which Katherine Hillard had used to manipulate her way into the Power Team and become the object of Tommy’s affections.

She begins by simply sabotaging their dates and sabotaging their vehicles so neither can arrive at their meeting places. Pretty soon, Kat realizes she needs help, so she uses an ancient crystal which is said to have restoration powers. She had gotten this as a gift from Rita Repulsa as a reward for all of her loyal work.

She uses the crystal to resurrect a select group of enemies from the past. These monsters are not all just from the past of the Dino Thunder team either. She uses them to keep the team busy so she can keep Tommy and Kimberly apart.

Unfortunately, one of the enemies happens to be the most evil from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers days and no one team can destroy him alone. It is for this reason, Tommy asks Hayley to restore the powers of the Dino Thunder team as well as track them down, while Tommy asks for the help of the original MMPR Rangers. Due to Trini’s death in an automobile accident many years before, he is forced to track down Aisha Campbell instead.

Because of Tommy needing to reclaim his Black Dino Thunder powers, he is forced to pass the baton of White MMPR Ranger powers to a new beneficiary.


How the MMPR Rangers got their powers back: After being contacted, Adam chose to contact the Sentinel Knight for help. He restored their powers as well as traveled to Reefside to aide in restoring the powers of the DT team.
