The Ladies of PR
How do you feel about the women of Power Rangers? Do you feel like they do a good job of exemplifying what a heroine should be? Do you feel as if Power Rangers took a step back with the way they personify women?
Are they what you watch for? Who's your favorite and why?

I feel that the PR Ladies do a great job. Each one has been pretty tough really. As for the best one, i gotta go with Kimberly here. She was cute, sexy and a good fighter. An honourable mention goes out to Z who is awesome too

I think some females get overrated. Particularly Jen and Kimberly. But most females are portrayed in a good way and perceived by fans in the way they should be. Power rangers does a good job of giving variety in females. Some years we get girly girls and other years we get strong females. Its a good mix..

All of the female Rangers are great. I think I favor all the females in each season over most of the male Rangers.
My top favorites would be Tanya, Trini, Jen, Summer and Katie.

I like the women in power rangers though i admit some seem more generic than the male characters at times e.g Tanya was just a clone of Aisha with less personality.
My favourite female rangers though would be Kat (MMPR-turbo) Kim , Jen , Kira and Tori

I think that most of the females are only noticed if they have love interests.

I reckon that's because some of Tanya's storylines were meant for Aisha. Karan quit so suddenly they decided not to restore Aisha's age, so she didn't even appear in the Alien finale.

Outside of them both being black, how was Tanya a clone of Aisha?

Simple and nothing to with them both been black.

This I agree with. That is a lot of it and as a result they were forced to write her in even turbo very close to how they wrote Aisha. Only difference was Aisha seemed more bubbly or rather seemed softer and more cheery.
