I think that may just be the lighting. GekiBlue's more of a royal blue, while Shark Ranger's closer to toilet bowl blue.

Jack was a big mistake from day one. SPD had many.

But Master Phant morphing into a ranger with that kind of build would just look silly.

The Phantom Beasts have been brought back to life. Dai Shi has them prove their loyalty by capturing the three masters. The Phantom Beasts capture the masters and use the masters to create the Spirit Rangers.

However, I bet they will continue to have more masters and have almost as many as Gekiranger did. In that case, I see more rangers than those three.

Decent theory, but keep in mind the PR spoilers Japan gets to read have typically spelled out the season. Last year they gave us everything from our first look at Tyzonn's face to the Red Sentinel Ranger. So if there were plans for more Rangers based on the masters, they'd appear very near the finale and not get good screen time.

It's even less likely due to the fact that Gorilla, Penguin, Gazelle and uh... housecat Ranger toys were never released.
