I would keep Tommy as mentor, but have someone else became the Black Dino Thunder. It could be Trent, allowing a female to become the White Dino Thunder Ranger.

I would have kept Trent evil longer and had a better resolution to the storyline.

I would have had Cassidy become Dino Pink and Devin become Trassic Ranger.

yes but not impossible since they did it with the Titanium Ranger in Lightspeed Rescue and they also did it with the Spirit Rangers in Jungle Fury.

I don't think they wanted to go to the trouble of doing that. They could have made Trassic Six Ranger and didn't.
