Only the first few teams followed that, I would say Never give up, even if they don't say, that is what they do.

I don't really remember Tommy or Jason ever saying "May the power protect you." Zordon said it in most if not all MMPR episodes, that much I know for sure. Anyway, "May the power protect you" isn't a motto, it's a phrase that indicates that you wish someone good fortune like "Good luck" or "Break a leg out there." Zordon wasn't really certain that the Rangers would be protected by the Morphing Grid (I'm assuming that's what he was referencing in the phrase since he didn't use the plural form of the word "power"), he was just expressing his hope that it would protect them.

But Tommy said it in Forever Red and it's a classic,Mighty Morphin phrase.
If they did Forever Blue and Max had said "Never give up!" Billy would have said "Well of course we won't". Rocky would have gone"We say may the power protect you". Lucas would have gone"He sucks,let's leave him here". Then everyone [including Justin cause he'd be older] would have gone "Yeah!"

Never give up is just what you do,you don't say it. It sounds naff. It's a horrible,over the top motto.

It's almost on a par with "No-one gets inside!"
