I was just playing the party line at the time. That was because I wasn't the leader. We would much rather call imported Japanese Sentai, American Sentai. The dreaded PR word doesn't need to be used. American Sentai isn't used by us based on how well each season was adapted anymore.

I don't think Billy had anything against women or Tanya. He just always thought of himself as a Ranger. Remember Tanya just arrived out of the Blue. And all heck broke lose with the Command Center exploding.
