If they call it Tommy's Life as a Power Ranger they have to cover every major event, can't leave a single one out. Since they called it Tommy's Life as a Power Ranger and didn't show Forever Red it doesn't exist in this new universe. The fact that he has no powers whatsoever to morph with at that point is a significat piece of history considering that the Zeo Crystal constantly grows in power which would mean the Zeo Powers would to, and anything capable of destroying one's access requires a story about it, since no story was told there is a clear cut explanation, Zeo became Turbo in this new universe.
