Default Auric the Conqueror

I thought he was a weak character. He had no really but to fight evil and no other personality traits. He just seemed like a poorer version of Ninjor. I really wasn't feeling him. Not a big fan of his design either.

Yeah he was a pretty weak character. Found it kind of funny that Tanya gave the tiki to Jason when there was no reason why she couldn't keep it.

I thought Auric was a cool character but I do agree with VR Master that there was really no reason why Tanya couldn't keep the key since I don't recall many instances of the Rangers actually using the Ohranger footage with using the key to summon him but I think part of the problem is because he had limited usable footage that they could use and they likely couldn't shoot additionally footage since they likely didn't get the suit from Toei so it'd be hard to flesh out the character with no original footage.

I don't think it has anything to do with the condition of the suit Toei just tends to be picky about what they give Power Rangers.

Power Rangers never had anything mecha-wise from Zyuranger since it was a cheap production so I'm sure Toei felt Saban was never going to use the mecha suits at that point in time and in the case of Dairanger they weren't given Red Dragonzord's Warrior Mode, Megatigerzord or Tor, with Kakuranger they weren't given the Apezord, Ninja Megazord/Megafalconzord, Shogun Megazord/Megafalconzord and the Battle Borgs and with Ohranger they weren't given any of the zords.

I always liked Ninjor better.

well to be fair they actually had the freedom to do more with his character since most of the ground scenes in Season 3 were original footage anyway and Saban actually had his suit.

so it would've been much easier to create a character with Ninjor since they could've done whatever they wanted with him due to having his suit.
