actually I think it's because they had changed how their Astro Morphers were linked. I mean originally the Morphers were linked to the Astro Megaship which is why the Dark Fortress web had disrupted their morph as well as their arsenal. Zhane's DigiMorpher and Andros' Battlizer weren't linked to the Megaship which is why the web didn't block their energies however I do believe that because of what had happened as a result of the web incident that they had switched the power source to their actual life force which is why Cassie was in so much pain once her Morpher was damaged.

The Psycho Rangers were okay. I do think they are a bit overrated. The Psycho Arch did go on a few episodes too long.

To me the arch was the best part of Space. I actually felt like I was watching Power Rangers and not some kid science fiction show. Space is overrated to me.

[Blue Ranger Gone Bad]

The arch did drag. But they were cool characters and worthy villains for the Space Rangers. They also played an important role in LG. There probably the best evil Rangers ever.

The Mutant Rangers were so much better. I wish they stayed around longer.
