I remember when Gold Ranger debuted he seemed very formidable. I loved his Gold Rush attack and how he just apeared out of no where to save the team. The mystery of his idenity kept me interested. I was a bit disapointed when I found out the Gold Ranger was a new character named Trey. I mean the Triforian origin was original, I just was hoping it would be an existing Ranger or someone more interesting. I was pleasantly surprised to see Jason return to accept the gold powers from Trey. I expected it to happen when I heard Jason's voice in a commercial.
