What was the point to the Ninja Acadamies
 

It always seemed like we were missing something with them. Why were all these acadamies on Earth? And wbat exactly were their purpose?

To train future protectors. The Wind Ninjas themselves were probably guarding the abyss of evil. This is why Sensei had Ninja Ops made and the Wind Morphers. Other acadamies were just training other guardians.

This was a huge problem with Ninja Storm. We really didn't know what the whole purpose of the Ninja Academies were. They were just there with no real backstory.

Why do have need more back story? Isn't it enough that are there to protect the Earth? Thats what the narrator said in the beginning. That is this back story.

there was no probability about it. The Wind Ninjas were there with the entire purpose of guarding the Abyss of Evil... however there is no evidence on who made the powers. Sensei never said he made the Wind Morphers and neither did Cam.

The point is to save the world. The Ninja cleary knew about evil. They probably were preparing for the return of ancient Lothor. Kiya made the prophacy become true.

Kiya probably knew about the prophacy and decided to take up the idenity of Lothor so he could have the power. He wanted the power of the abyss.

I would have liked to have had more back story on ancient Lothor and why Kiya looked up to him.

Kiya wanted power and saw the previous Lothor as a powerful dark ninja to model himself after.

I think it was just about tradition and protecting against Dark Ninjas.
