Little Mermaid

Kenneth Mars died on Feb. 12, 2011, he died from pancreatic cancer. He did the voice of King Triton in the first 2 movies.

Buddy Hackett, originally Leonard Hacker passed on June 30, 2003. There's no official report on his death cause but it looks like he was suffering from diabetes and had suffered a stroke a week prior.
Buddy did the voice of Scuttle who is the talking seagull.

Ben Wright passed on July 2, 1989 died after undergoing heart surgery.
Ben did the voice of Grimsby who is the human manservant (or Butler if you will) for Prince Eric and Eric's confidant as well. Grimsby is the one that keeps on hoping for Eric to become married one day.

Paddi Edwards passed on Oct. 18, 1999. She passed due to respiratory failure. Paddi did the voices of Flotsam and Jetsam who are Ursula's eels.

Kay E. Kuter provides the voice of Grimsby in the sequel. He died on Nov 12, 2003 because of pulmonary complications.


Mary Kay Bergman died on Nov. 11, 1999 due to committing suicide by shooting herself with a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun.
Mary did the voice of Arista (1 of Ariel's sisters) in the TV series.
She also did the voice of Babette in "Beauty and the Beast."

Jerome Bernard "Jerry" Orbach" died on Dec. 28, 2004. He did the voice of Lumiére.

Rex Everhart died on March 13, 2000. He died due to lung cancer. He did the voice of Belle's Father, Maurice.

Harold John "Hal" Smith" died on Jan. 28, 1994. He died due to a heart attack. He did the voice of Belle's Horse, Philippe.

Tony Jay died on Aug. 13, 2006. He did the voice of Monsieur D'Arque, the Warden of the Asylum that Gaston bribes into helping him.

I forgot to mention this but we can say "R.I.P" or "Rest In Peace" to Robin Williams in this thread since he was the voice of the Genie in most of the Aladdin movies.

He sadly killed himself on August 11 by hanging. Such a shame.
