Did anyone else think Rita was gonna end up becoming the White Ranger after "White Light Part 1" aired?

I don't see Rita ever working with the Ranges pre Z-Wave. Nor would they want to work with her. They would have just sent her back into exile like they really did on the show.

I just can't picture tv show Rita as a Ranger. And then correct decision was to go with Tommy.

Actually making Tommy White Ranger was the worst decision. Oliver's story was complete and his return brought the show down. Ritw as White Ranger would have been much more interestinG. Watching the Rangers have it work with her would have been very busy Interesting. And would have made for a fun dynamic. Also Rita getting used to life as a "teen" in Angel Grove would have been funny and interesting in itself.

Saban didn't like the idea of such an evil villian becoming a Ranger.

Yes it would have made so much more sense. And we would have been rid of To my fpr good. The show would have been popular for a lot longer. Since people wouldn't have got sick of Tommy.

it wasn't really Saban's choice since that's when those petitions were going on I think when they were hearing that kids weren't eating because of Tommy no longer being there they really had no chance but to bring him back he wasn't supposed to come back he was supposed to be Cybertron.

They would have been crazy not to bring JDF back as Tommy. Why mess with what is working? They had a way to do it with the Kibaranger Footage.

I think Tzachor would have had Rita as White Ranger if it was his call. Since he liked to tell a good story and didn't let nostalgia get in the way of that.

Tzachor is a lot of thinga. But he always seemed to do what he thought was best for business. I am sure he was smart enough to know JDF returning was a no brainer. And Saban ane Levy hae more power then him at the time. So it didn't matter what he wanted. Even if I think he wanted the same thing.
