Was anyone surprised that Captian Logan ended up being such a minor character?

He really didn't have much of a personality and Alex was more of a counterpart for the Timeranger Captain.

I thought he was basically goi ng to be their mentor. Its funny how he came down on them so hard in the premiere and helped them after they went to the past against his orders.

I didn't like Alex. He was a jerk like Tommy. Thankfully he didn't hog the spoliight.

Its wierd they even added Logan since they had Alex.

I thought Logan was gonna be there boss and they were going to travel to different time periods. Including to the time periods of former Ranger Seasons. I thought for sure one of them would have bee Zeo.

Logan acted like a big jerk in the first episode. But then the jerkiness went to Alex lol

I think Alex should have stayed dead for dramatic effect. And Logan should have been the one to come back in time and take command. As an officer of Time Force, he would have been able to override the DNA lock on Wes's morpher.

I do think Jen's story would have been stronger if Alex remained dead.

Probably, but its not like Alex and Jen lived happily ever after. And niether did Wes and Jen.

I agree, Alex coming back cheapened his death in the premiere. Captain Logan would have been the better antagonist. And really should have been the main villian with some of the stuff they set up in "Ransik Lives". The idea of him overwriting the DNA lock is a good one.

I like the idea of Logan having the Alex role in the Destiny Episodes. Since Alex dying was such a dramatic moment in the premiere, that should have been perserved.

His character wasn't very interesting. I actually thought Mr. Collins was going to be the mentor.

It made sense to use Alex I think. The death wasn't cheapened. Since its not like there weren't complications with his return.

Logan was never supposed to be a major character like the Time Captain. Alex was a much closer adaptation of him than Logan. Even if there were major differences.
