Power Ranger Online Message Board - Mighty Morphin DinoRangers

Okay...I started writing this fanfic last year around this same time...when I knew nothing about script format. I have become a better writer and I want to try this again. I am currently in the process of rewriting the three episodes I had done and I will post them as soon as they are finished. The first one, at least, will be posted by the end of the day.

The year is 2006. A year has passed since Mesogog was destroyed. All is quiet in Reefsideâ€¦or is it?

We find out that Mesogog is still alive. He seeks the assistance of Anton Mercer once again. In the final episodes of Power Rangers DinoThunder, Trent gave Mesogog the 5 Dino gems in exchange for his father. Mesogog absorbed enough of the energy from the Dino gems to create his own evil Dino gems. He needs Anton Mercer's scientific mind to create BioZords for his evil Dino Rangers and to harness the powers into an evil fighting force. Mesogog kidnaps Haley and forces her to make Dino morphers for his evil rangers. He uses his mental power to control her mind long enough to get her to make the Dino morphers. When he lets her out of his control he sends her quickly through an invisiportal back to the Cyberspace.

Still believing that all is calm in Reefside because of the destruction of Mesogog and Zeltrax and the recovery of Elsa, Dr. Tommy Oliver decides to go out of town one day. He decides to go on a dig in his old home town of Angel Grove and finds something very interesting. He uncovers a black box with the Power Rangers Lightning Bolt on the top. Upon opening the box, Tommy realizes he has found the lost Power Coins from years ago. Zordon had Alpha store them in a box after the Command Center was destroyed and rebuilt as the Rangers received the power of the Zeo Crystal. Alpha then buried the box and placed a protective force field around it so that no one with evil in their heart could get the box. All 7 coins are present in the box; the original five coins as well as the white and green coins. As he continues to dig deeper and uncovers the top of the Tyrannosaurs Dinozord. At this discovery, he covers the zord back up and seeks the assistance of an old friend.

He travels to Berkeley University to find his old friend, Billy. Upon locating Billy, Tommy tells him of his discovery. Billy takes Tommy to his personal lab and they examine the coins. Upon examination they realize the coins are still operational, but need a recharging of sorts, mostly the green power coin. Tommy remembers that his Dino gems still have some power in them and suggests that they are used. However there are only 5 Dino gems for 7 power coins.

Tommy and Billy go back to Tommy's underground lair to run a diagnostic on the Dino gems to check for the possibilities of engineering a pink and green Dino gem to reenergize the pink and green Power Coins. After the coins are all reenergizedâ€¦they disappear. Tommy, Billy and Haley travel back to Angel Grove to the old Command Center. They enter into the Command Center and start looking around to see if the Power Coins are there.

After the powers are restored, Zordon and Alpha 5b bring 5 people to the command center to take five of the powers, leaving two for Tommy and Billy.

Now we find out that Mesogog has created his own evil MesoRangers. Their engineered MesoGems give them powers from the dinosaurs from which they draw their powers. The Black MesoRanger draws his power from the Tyrannosaurs and has a strong mega punch. The Maroon MesoRanger draws his power from the Stegosaurus and can create spikes that form on his chest which he can then fire at an opponent. The Navy MesoRanger draws his power from the Triceratops and can form a force field around himself to protect from any attacks. The Yellow MesoRanger draws her power from the Velociraptor and can move extremely fast. The Purple MesoRanger draws her power from the Pterodactyl and can make extremely high jumps. Mesogog knows who Zordon picked for rangers and uses that information to bring to him six ex rangers to brainwash who have strong connections to the Power Rangers. They are:

Black MesoRanger: Tyrannosaurs *****
Maroon MesoRanger: Stegosaurus *****
Navy MesoRanger: Triceratops *****
Yellow MesoRanger: Velociraptor *****
Purple MesoRanger: Pterodactyl *****
Green MesoRanger: Dragon *****
Gray MesoRanger: Serpent *****

The main 5 MesoRangers MesoZords combine into the MegaMesoZord.

The Green MesoRanger controls an evil version of the DragonZord from MMPR Season 1

The Gray MesoRanger controls a modified version of Lord Zedd's Serpenterra that was abandoned when Lord Zedd was changed to good. Mesogog got ahold of it and with Anton Mercer's knowledge, made modifications to Serpenterra making it into a Zord that can change into battle mode, similar to the Red Dragon Thunderzord from MMPR Season 2.
