What if the Zeo didn't leave?
 

Lets say the Zeo team doesn't leave in the middle of Turbo. In this senario JDF doesn't want to leave and their is no cast change. How long do you think this cast would have lasted before there was a full reboot?

If JDF wanted to stay on they would have kept him on indefinitely. I am not sure about the rest of the cast. But I assume that there would be small yearly cast changes. Just like there was beforehand. It seemed like at least one Ranger was replaced every season at that point.

It would awesome if Tommy and everyone not named Kat stayed. But I would have been okay if Kat was the main villian in Space

They should have left after Zeo itself. So Turbo could have been an exact translation of Carranger.

Turbo was a good transition season. Carranger wasn't very good anyway

I really wish they could have done a Zeo Season with that cast.

They should have just let JDF go after Zeo and hired Austin full time to replace him.

I think they would have been better off hiring Amy . That may have enticed Jason to remain on for a few years.

Forgetting about the fact Amy Jo wasn't coming back to the series...Why? We don't even know if Jason and Amy were even good friends. And they certainly weren't lovers in real life. Frank was married back then. Tommy stayed to keep the rest of the cast employeed but he didn't stay forever. And wouldn't have stayed any longer because an old co-wlrker returned.

The cast change was inevitable. There was a massive creative behind the scenes shake up that lead to them wanting to completely turn the page. Zeo's bad ratings already caused some of that going into Turbo. Plus the old cast was getting too old to play teens and there characters aged out afterwards.
