If you could write a sequel to Saban's Power Rangers, what would you do?

let's see here are some of my ideas.

we see the frozen Rita landing on the Moon which triggers a blast which causes the arrival of Scorpina and she creates a new Goldar to assist her in her battles.

Now while this is going on Tommy gets lost close to where the Megazord vs Goldar was at and he comes across the Dragon Coin that Rita lost as the Megazord was knocking her to the depths of the Moon. He picks up the Coin and when it starts to react he receives superpowers like first super strength and then super speed and eventually the coin glows and corrupts him into an evil Ranger. The suit is similar to the other 5 suits except for a few differences. His shield is bigger so it covers more of his chest and his gold cuffs are pretty much gone but he does have the black holster for his Dragon Dagger which he automatically has already instead of what happened in the show with Rita giving the flute to him.

He goes to attack the city which causes the Rangers to be alerted of the ruckus due to civilians running away so they go to confront them. They try to talk things out but they notice it's not working so they have a battle but they get their butts kicked so they head to the base to talk to Zordon and Alpha about a plan which neither one is quite sure about.

that's all I've got so far.

I want to go with the obvious route, and make it a movie version of Green with Evil but I know some folks think the first movie already had enough parts like that.

Maybe something that starts like it but then turns into Island of Illusion.

The Rangers successfully battle Alien Invasions and have become a tight nit team. Rita ets revivee by a mysterious force and comes back stronger . To make things more complicated a new Green Ranger has arrived who doesn't want to work with the Rangers.

Rita wants her power coin back even though she has new powers. We get flashbacks to Rita's time as a Ranger and why she betrayed her team. Lord Zedd corrupted her. He is also the one that recently revived her and he is coming soon. Rita decided to betray Zedd and get the Zeo Crystal before he can arrive

The Green Ranger is badly beaten by Rita and revealed to be Tommy. The other Rangers help him. Rita revived Goldar . Jason orders the lthers to use their zprds against him while he finishes Rita. When Jason is about to be killed Tommy rejoins the battle and helps defeat Rita. Who merges with Goldar. Jason summons his zord and forms the Megazord with the others. Tommy summons the Dragon Zord. Ritdar is destroyed. Just then the Dragonzord turns on the Megazord and sends the Rangers to the ground.

Tommy reveals to the shocked Rangers that Zedd is his true master and they will all die. A dark cloud appears over the city as the Zords are sent underground. The Ranters look on in disbelief as Lord Zedd has arrived. Ending the movie on a cliffhanger.

Not bad. Obviously some blanks would have to be filled in. Namely what was the purpose of Green Ranger the whole time? Shouldn't he have been working with Rita before she betrayed Zedd?

Yeah your right, some details would have to be added or tweaked. I just want the ending twist to be the same. I suppose Tommy could be insurance for if Rita went against Zedd's plans.

Perhaps there could be a secone twist where the viewer is led to believe Zedd revived Rita but someone else did. Leading tp the Green Ranger Zedd twist.

Perhaps Rita just comes back for revenge on her own and finds a way to ger new powers on her own. I know , more complicated than it sounds. She could have been jealous Tommy had her coin and maybe even already realizes Zedd has chosen her replacement.

They should do a swerve and just have Tommy show up as White Ranger right away. That way Rita can still use the Green Powers.

I would have Kimberly go bad and be a villian like Rita. She is nothing like the Kimberly we all know and love. So would introduce a second Kimberly who was more like our Kimberly. Amd of course she would end up as the new Tommy's love interest.
