Exploring Rita's backstory and just what makes her tick would be very interesting. It would make for an interesting contrast with Tommy's rise.

Zordon starts given the Rangers weird orders to target military organizations. A new Ranger named Tommy arrives but refused to work for Zordon. Zordon starts to take power on Earth in the name of preparing it for invaders! The Rangers are ordered to finish Tommy off but can't do it. Zordon switches places with Billy and fights the Rangers form their coins. The Ranges team up woth the Green Rangers to defeat Zordon amd bring Billy back. But they realize Zordon had sent a dkstress signal to Etar before his defeat.

Rita lands on the moon and is nursed back to health by a lonly alien hermit named Finister. Finister makes monsters out of clay which Rita realizes she can bring to life. She sends the monsters to Earth to battle the Rangers.

The idea from Rita's Pita could be the plot for a Power Rangers series based on the 2017 movie. Maybe Boom comics could do that series. :D

That would be a great idea for a series. And its easy to do in in the comic book form. They set it up perfectly with Rita flying off into Space. As it wouldn't be hard to have her land on the moon somehow.

The new movie needs to mainly focus on the characters just like the first one did. If they are going to i troduce Tommy,he needs a lot of character focus. I would like to see things from Rita's point of view more. It would be tough to pull off. Sknce thats a lot to juggle in a two hour movie and still have Rangsr Action.

I hope Trini would get more to do. Also explain why are family is so hard to deal with. Since they didn't seem as bad as she made them out to be.
