Power Rangers ended Gargoyles?
 

Greg Wiesman was the creative force behind Gargoyles. Which had its run early in Power Ranger's history. He did an interview where he talks about how Power Rangers and OJ Simpson contributed to the cancellation of Gargoyles.

Well it didn't really end them. It just made it tougher for them to survive.

Gargoyles was an awesome show. It at least got to finish more or its storylines. The Goliath Chronicles weren't as good. But they were extra.

I likes it towards the end when Goliath 's daughter showed up.

I don't see Power Rangers really effecting Gargoyles all that much. Being number 2 shouldn't have got them canceled.

Yeah I think it succeeded or failed on its own merits.

Yeah doesn't really connect for me as a reason why Gargoyles was cancelled.

I think Gargoyles just lasted as long as it was viable... Power Rangers or no Power Rangers.

I think Power Rangers and the OJ Simpson trial could have been factors to Gargoyle's cancellation. But they are not the main ones.
