PRN Relaunches as part of PRO Network(in beta)
 

Alright this is something I have been thinking about for awhile. I only have brought it up in the staff section and at PRN itself.

PRN is relaunching as part of the PRO network. It will present Power Rangers information in a different way than PRO. And will also be a news source. The content and purpose of the site is very much in flux. There are some empty link right now. Which is why I am calling this a beta relaunch. There is a link to an archive of the old site that has the old sections. So the old content related to the series is still there. I am losing the same layout for the nee sections.

I have owned PRN for a few years. But never have really have done much with it until now. Besides putting up an archive the old site for awhile that was just sitting there. It is good to finally have a purpose for the site.

from what he's told me PRO will still remain and continue to serve its current purpose so he will have all of his current sites and boards to worry about.

Yes, PRO will remain the same. PRN will just be part of the network just like Ranger Gallery and PRO Board.

basically what PRangerX is doing is he's doing a Michael Bastian with most of his sites since Michael has Power Rangers Central, Toku Central, supersentai.com, Ultraman Central and a Kamen Rider site which are all part of his network so I'm assuming PRangerX will eventually be trying to do the same type of network idea.

I would assume that there won't be but you never know with PRangerX.

No, no new board. I figure it makes more sense for PRN to use PRO as a forum. Trying to build two forums is tricky. And it makes more sense to try and build one bigger one up. PRN will promote this board just like the PRO website.

The PRN Board database is gone anyway. Unless someone from Ranger Power has it.

yea it makes no sense to create a new board for PRN especially if you don't have the database for it.

It just waters things down. Even if I did have the database I would probably just import it here. I have tried running separate forums. And it doesn't work for me. Thats why Sailor Moon , VR Troopers, and Digimon all have message boards built into here. Why have several small forums when you can have one big one?

Glad to see PRO is sticking around too. Yeah, a second forum would be overkill. I just hope it helps this place out.

If things become too much. I might just rename PRO to PRN and leave the old PRN page up as an archive. Than pro.com would point here. Which was what I was going to do before. Except I would have kept the PRN layout. If I do this its the PRO layout with new name and banner. Yes, I am probably changing my mind again lol.

How you gonna manage two websites? Might be better to have one. Unless one provides a different service.

You sure do change you're mind a lot. But I guess as long as the quality of the sites are good.

I miss that board. Some of us would like for it to return. But I guess we will have to settle for this place.

PRN is long dead as a board. I think PRX is right not to bring it back. Just build this one back up. With two websites to do it, it will only help.

At this point all PRX could do would be to open a forum and start PRN from scratch. But there is no gaurentee people will post. And it might take away from this one. This forum is fine. Unless he wants to make this forum PRN.

I don't want the forum to be renamed. I just want PRN back and this place at once.

Why don't you just close everything down and focus on the board. Sounds like you have too much on you're plate.
