Why were Wes and Eric able to keep their morphers?
 

Time Force was very worried about changing the timeline. But in the end Wes and Eric got to keep their powers. Which made no sense since they were from the future.

That was a huge head scratcher. They wanted them to keep the powers but had no way to explain why.

Somehow it was always supposed to be Wes and Eric as Time Red and Quantum Rangers. It was a paradox. The powers had to stay in the past for the future to happen. Alex and the Rangers just didn't realize this until the end.

Because Time Force was a poorly written series that often contradicted itself.

I think they were originally supposed to have returned them. But they changed their minds for the team ups. Since it was weird to have them keep their powers.

That was a pretty big oversight. I always thought TF was poorly written

He bigger question is why Wes had to stay in the past if the theme of the season was "making your own destiny". The fact Time Force let them keep there morphers and alter the timeline.. Only makes it more ridiculous that Wes couldn't go to the future.

The morphers led to the creation of SPD and Time Force.
