I don't know where this came from? If there was any question if all teams used the grid, it eas answered in DT and OO. And ironically expanded in RPM, given it wasn an AU. The idea of the morphing grid being an energy source around Earth was made canon.

The only thing that doesn't add up is... Alpha 6 teleporting into the grid itself during OAR. It made it look like it eas a physical place that invovled technology. Which is at odds with the idea it is an energy field.

The Wild Zords were living creatures and were active while Shayla was sleeping. They somehow found a way to connect to the Morphing Grid themselves. Shayla learned this after waking up. Plus Taylor should know what a Power Ranger was.

Tommy had Hayley make the morphers for the future Animarium Warriors. Hexagon would have been aware about the Org threat. And would have been prepared for their return.
