Episode 4 New Recruits

'New Recruits' is a fine episode. We get 3 recruits in this episode. 2 for the hero side and 1 for the villain side. It was a shock to see that the orb has 2 dino keys inside. How it got inside it? I can't wait for the next episode. :D

Ths new Rangers fit in well character wise. The cast continues to have good chemistry. But the circumstances of the episode consider to be contrived. I have to admit the skirt ripping was funny. Its a good explanation for why one women has a skirt and the other doesn't. Obviously we know its because Green was a guy in the Sentai. But its a clever in joke.

I don't think the Park Ranger being their stepfather fits and feels contrived.

I did find it odd how Javi steals his father's car with the sphere and the Park Ranger doesn't seemed too worried. Also we never get an explanation as to how he explained this away or how they explained the orb getting destroyed. My best guess is the Rangers explained it to the authorities?

I liked the new Rangers and feel like they fit chemistry wise. I do feel like it was pretty contrived with how they were just at the right place at the right time...Plus the orb just happened to have their morphers. I guess it does jake sense in terms of why Void Knight would detect power coming from it.

Its funny how two of the Rangers in the Megazord cockpit don't have zords.

I also loved Zayto's line about humans loving zords.

They have too many extraneous characters. I would rather them just focus on the Rangers . Do we really need the Park Ranger, Ollie's mom, J-Borg, and Ranger Garcia?

I laughed out loud when Izzy ripped off he skirt. It was such a clever in joke. And feels like a very Izzy thing to do. Its also amazing I can say that after only knowing the character for one episode.

Mucus reminds me so much of Posiandra.

She feels like an evil version of Baby Bop from Barney and Friends.

The series continues to have poor writing. The only saving grace is that Izzy and Javi seem like good characters.

So Void Knight was building a new general? I wonder if he will try to find other power sources for him.
