I’ve been thinking about starting up a RP of my own, and I wanted to run a few ideas by you all. I would like to know what you think about the story lines and which you would consider joining, should I actually launch them.
Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Revenge of the Heirs
Sometime before the seeming destruction of evil throughout the galaxy, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa gave life to twin offspring, Jeddrek and Daeva. Believed to have been shipped off to a distant galaxy before the Z-wave, Jeddrek and Daeva have grown into powerful and strong minded villains. They return to our galaxy and discover the damage done by the power rangers (who by this time are retired or groups are being led by people like Andrew Hartford to fend off less threatening villains) and thus vow to get revenge for what they see as the deaths of their parents. Adam Park and his wife Tanya (former Zeo Ranger II) are still active and try their best to thwart the first attack by the duo. They are unable to and realize they must find a group willing to take on the Z-Twins by risking their own lives for the greater good.
Though Adam and Tanya are in possession of their zeo powers, the full crystal is not intact and therefore it is not the primary source of power for the new rangers. Adam however found that with aide from an old friend, they were able to reconstruct most of the dino coins and have kept them hidden in the power chamber for an emergency. The core ranger team will consist of Red/ Sword, Black/ Dual Axes, Blue/ Lance, Yellow/ Dual Sai and Pink/ Bow. Depending on how many people want in Green and White as well as various other rangers may come available.
Jeddrek and Daeva will be aided by their friend from another galaxy Tyranny in their fight for revenge. Tyranny is a powerful warrior with the ability to create and then feed off the application of aggressive power. Foot soldiers will pay homage to Rita Repulsa with the use of clay Putties.
Egyptian Massacre
So the premise of the story revolves around a young pharaoh’s tutor, coming back from the dead after failing to become the king of Egypt. He does so by placing a curse on the world, vowing that "Whenever any three such planets should come together as one, the dead will gain access once again to the mortal realm". He does this of course by the craft of black magic, calling upon the spirits and powers of Isis.
Now in the year 2009, Mercury, Neptune and Saturn have joined in the same rotation around the Earth and the curse is in danger of coming to the light. The only ones who know of said curse however are an elite set of government officials and a duo consisting of a scientist and an archeologist expert, Willimax and Kendrel respectively. On a quest, the two came across the Egyptian tomb and the curse- but themselves are skeptical to its actual truth. Regardless on they haven’t taken the myth lightly and are preparing in the ruins of the power chamber(one of several references to the PR universe, but is not directly connected) using a set of key cards discovered around the remains in order to grant the powers to a group of recruits.
On the technical aspect of things, I was thinking of using the Dairanger costumes and colors(Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink, possibly white as well) with their similar powers of the mythical Chi Beast. Of course including the Red Dragon, Lion, Unicorn, Griffin and Firebird. The weapons of choice will be different, but all will be revealed in time.
The allies will consist primarily of Willimax and Kendrel, the villains will be broadened, not only to include Cranx(the main villain) and his loyal minions, but another yet undisclosed group.

The Power Rangers of Space have retired and left their former powers in the hands of a KO-35 warrior known as Zjonh. He takes it upon himself and transforms into the red ranger. He fights for a time on his home planet as a vigilante; fighting against those who bring horror and cause more problems then the military can handle. He is then advised of the restoration of a former evil [the Machine Empire] and takes a journey to stop them, alone. In the middle of the task he becomes overwhelmed by his enemies and is forced to flee. With Earth closer than his planet, he targets it s a restoration place. However the Machine Empire, led by younger versions of King Mondo and Queen Machina follow the warrior and thus remember their quest of universal takeover and decide to start over by capturing Earth.
As mentioned the Space Ranger powers and weapons will be used. To include Red/ Spiral Saber, Black/ Lunar Lance, Blue/ Astro Axe, Yellow/ Star Slinger and Pink/ Satellite Stunner. Depending on how many people are interested as well as how many apply Silver as well as other rangers will become available.
Allies will include Zjonh, after he passes down his powers to someone who will better fit in with the new ranger team and Zjonh’s assistant DEXTER. DEXTER is a mix between the Alphas and D.E.C.A; he has a humanoid form, but his hard drive can be removed and connected to any electronic application in case of emergencies.
The Machine Empire will consist of King Mondo and Queen Machina [much has changed about the duo- they have become similar to Gasket and Archerina, they will not hesitant to become aggressive and take to battle alongside their comrades]. Cogs still maintain foot soldier status, but are aided by Cog Ultimate’s [Quantron like robots that wield various weapons, but are under control and manufactured by Mondo].
