NINJETTI: THE NEW LEGACY CONTINUES!

Story: 11 years ago an all out war between good and evil, raged all across the globe. The main battlefield was Angel Grove, California.. Home to the world's greatest superhuman fighting team.. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Throughout the years seven teens risked their lives and spent most of their time together fighting the evil of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, always bringing their diabolical plans to a halt and eventually defeating them once and for all, by destroying their base on the moon and banishing them far beyond the galaxy. But throughout the course of their most devastating battle yet, a powerful alien known as Master Vile, reversed time, turning everyone on Earth into children, causing the Rangers' powers to become useless. Eventually the rangers were able to fight through this and return things back to normal. However.. During the ending of that battle, a ranger was lost throughout time, and a wise mythical being known as Ninjor was banished back to the Temple of Power, trapped within a hourglass, taking all of the Ninjetti powers along with him. Even though Ninjor was trapped away within a deep slumber inside of his entrapment, five of the Ninjetti spirits were able to escape the evil trap, traveling around the Earth and fused themselves within 5 different warriors who weren't of age yet to even know they were Ninjetti Warriors. But when the time came, the spirits would reveal themselves within the chosen warriors and those would be the Warriors to free Ninjor.

11 years later archeologists discovers Ninjor's temple, finding the hourglass and an ancient scroll. Upon discovering the ancient Oni scrolls, the curious discoverers decide to translate the scrolls, reading the inscriptions on them. As the archeologists read the inscriptions, the scrolls began to glow a eerie purple, before turning into ashes and falling to the ground. The archeologists were confused about what was going on but their questions were just about to be answered. The ground began to shake, causing the archeologists to run off into the midst of the jungle. The tremors were so strong and horrifying the it awakened Ninjor, who realized what had just happened. Due to the bumbling discoverers, curiosity to read the scroll.. They have just unleashed hundreds of evil spirits into the world. Spirits that have the power to possess any living thing on the planet, turning them into Oni. Using his currently weak, mythical powers, Ninjor sends out a wave that spreads across the globe awakening the Ninjetti spirits within the 5 pre-selected young warriors. It is now up to these five warriors to save the world from the evil that is soon to come. But first they must learn to listen to their spirits and let them guide them to Ninjor.. Will these teens work together to find Ninjor? Will they listen to their spirits? Can the Legacy of the Power continue?! There's only one way to find out in, Ninjetti: The New Legacy Continues..

Allies:

Ninjor - It was discovered years ago, that Ninjor is responsible for creating the original Power Coins and is the master of all Ninjetti arts. But due to him being trapped inside of his hourglass, Ninjor can only help the young warriors by giving them wisdom, words of encouragement, and teaching them the arts of the Ninjetti. With the knowledge Ninjor holds, in time the 5 chosen warriors will soon be strong enough to face any challenge and succeed.

Steve - The new owner of the Youth Center. Steve has a very weird and whimsical personality, always looking to find monsters or find facts about the mysterious Ninjas that protect the city or better yet, find out who those Ninjas really are. He's not that aggressive on finding out the Power Ranger's, or in this case the Ninjetti Warrior's, secret as Bulk and Skull once were, but he is always trying to get a glance at them every chance he gets. Other than that, Steve is a pretty cool guy.. He loves to skateboard and play video games while his employees do all the work. If you're looking for work, Steve's always looking for new hands.. It keeps him from having to do anything but show up to work.

Frank and Cody - Frank and Cody are like the modern day Bulk and Skull. However they aren't complete airheads like the original duo once were. Frank and Cody come from a high class background.. They're from the Valley, as most people would say. They act very snobby and push people around because they are Red Belts in their Karate class. Even though the two bullies like to act as though they are better than everyone else.. There is one and only one fighting team that they look up to and want to be just like.. Want to take a guess? If you guessed the Ninjetti Warriors, then give yourself a pat on the back. These two look up to these five masked Warriors so much, that they try to follow the battles sometimes and get involved.. Which leads to them getting into deep trouble..

Enemies:

The Oni - The Oni are evil ancient spirits that once roamed the Earth as demons, monsters, and other mystical creatures that terrorized the inhabitants of Earth. After all being defeated by Ninjor, they were all sealed away within scrolls, locked by an inscription that was never to be read by human tongue. It wouldn't be until one fateful day when archeologists discovered the Temple of Power and the scrolls, reading all of the inscriptions aloud, accidentally releasing all of the captured Oni spirits amongst the Earth again. Since the Oni have been captured once, they have no physical form at first. But they do have the power to possess any living thing.. Whether its plants, animals, insects, human beings, and even aliens. However.. Only a few Oni may have the opportunity to attempt to destroy the world. The more they succeed, the more Oni that can be released to possess. If successful, the world will become nothing but a barren, lifeless planet of evil.. In other words.. Hell. The only way the Warriors will be able to completely stop powerful Oni is to trap them within the scrolls that they were once in. Weaker Oni are known as Tengu. The Tengu aren't necessarily the humanoid birds that once attacked Angel Grove during the era of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.. Tengu have the ability to take form of any type of animal.. But they appear much weaker than the stronger Oni. The Tengu can be destroyed by dealing a devastating blow to them.

Notes:

- At the beginning you and only you can see your own Ninjetti Animal Spirit and talk to it through telepathy... After we become a team, then we will be able to see each others spirits, but not really have a connection with them to the point we will share a telepathic link with them.

- Also instead of us using Wrist Communicators.. We will contact each other through a telepathic link that we will gain within each other after meeting Ninjor. Nobody else can hear us but us. However there will be some enemies that we will have that will be able to drop in on our conversation if we are close enough to them. Some Oni will even have the power to transport us to another realm, where we can't use it at all.

- Blue Wolf's teleporting power only works by line of sight and it is limited distance. Even though he/she may hundreds of miles away.. They can't teleport that far. But they can teleport far enough to get out of danger.

- Pink Crane's transformation power works by her own body size she cannot transform into anything that is taller or way out of her body size.

- We will have and know about our Ninjetti arts at the beginning of the RPG, and think of them as super-powers. But we aren't really skilled at using them. Meaning that we should act as if we had just found out about them a few days ago.

- We also have a vanishing abiliy. We will actually just focus on where we need to be and then POOF, we're there. Now the difference between this type teleporting and Blue Wolf's is that Blue Wolf's teleporting takes way less focus than this one does. This one takes quite an amount of focus to do so.

- The Warriors have slight physical advantages over the average humans due to the spirits.

Ape = Enhanced Agility

Wolf = Enhanced Senses

Bear = Enhanced Strength

Crane = Enhanced Balance

Frog = Enhanced Jumping


- With the Zords.. There will be no going inside of the Zords in the cockpit. This is how this will work. The Zords are actually your Ninjetti Spirits enlarged. However they can not function without the other half of the Ninjetti which is human. So we will fuse our own spirits within the zords becoming one with our Spirits just as they did to us in human form. Together you will fight as one. When becoming the Ninja Megazord that will be the only time our human forms will appear within the cockpit of the Megazord.


Rules:

1) First and foremost, you are not and will not be a god or indestructible in this RPG. This RPG is rated PG-13 and your character will take dramatic blows that can and will injure your character physically, even though they were transformed. This RPG has more of a realistic essence to it than that of the common Power Ranger RPG. Even though magic will be used in this RPG, it won't be as drastic as the standard Power Rangers RPG. This is a gradual RPG, where we will earn new powers and stronger weapons as we go along. If I catch you godmodding you will be ejected from the RPG and your spot will go up for grabs.

2) This RPG is NOT first come, first serve. I will read all profile entries and decide who will get into the RPG. I am looking for the profile that is the most creative and the profile that fits the role that you are going for. Pink and Yellow rangers are meant for females! If I see a male going for those roles, I won't even bother to read your whole profile and I will tell you to edit it.

3) STAY ACTIVE!!! Now I don't require you to come online everyday, because I know we all have lives.. School, Work, Family, and Friends have been known to take up our time from the site.. But please post regularly.. Maybe like twice a week or more.. And if you are going to be away for a while please let me know.. Or I will replace you. Sorry, but I want to keep this thing alive. And I've seen a lot of RPGs die because of inactive players. Stay active people. Oh.. And please... No One Liners.. It is NOT mandatory to write really long posts. Personally I'm not going to be doing a whole lot of long posts myself.. Your style of RPing is your style and I don't mind it. Just no one liners.

4) Relationships are allowed as long as both players know about it and I know about it.

5) As far as the costumes go.. Think MMPR Season 3 Ninja Costumes for the start. Then once we get all of our powers, we will become strong enough to become fully armored Ninja Rangers, which look like the Kakuranger costumes. Except White will be Pink and Yellow will have a skirt. Lol

6) Have fun.. If you have any issues or questions please discuss them in the DT. This is OUR rpg.. I just came up with the idea. So if you have an idea for episodes, talk about them in the DT. :)

7) Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention.. In this RPG, only my original MMPR rangers existed as rangers.. It really isn't important in this RPG since they won't be showing up much.. Maybe one or two will make a cameo appearance, but thats it. There are no other rangers but the ones that were in my MMPR: A New Legacy RPG. That means Tommy and Jason from MMPR or Jack and Sky SPD cannot make some appearance as a ranger in this RPG.. Because they don't exist as rangers, PERIOD! Lol. That also means your characters do not know them, unless you have talked to the original cast and they said that it was ok to use their character as a reference.. However Jason, Kim, Trini, Zack, Tommy, Billy, Adam, Rocky, and Aisha are more than welcome to be known as regular civilians because they are nothing more than just that. So it is possible for you to be cool with them or even be related to them.. But in this RPG, they were NOT rangers. Now, I just got this idea where you could actually be them and give them a chance to become a Ranger in my RPG series. But you must create your own orignal background for them.. I don't want to see nothing about how Aisha is from Stone Canyon and she fought along with Rocky and Adam.. Nooo.. It doesn't work like that. If you would like to be one of the characters known from the TV series, just PM me.. I will give you more detail onto what I want and don't want.

Ninjor/Virgil Kealoha Jr.

"Where are they?!.. I hope Saru and the others lead them here. Those Oni could strike at any moment!.. Calm down, Ninjor.. Take a deep breath.. They're only spirits trained by me, who have NO SORT OF CONTROL OVER THEIR HUMAN HOSTS!!! I have to get out of this hourglass!" said Ninjor. The frustrated blue ninja-man got up from the sandy surface that was inside the hourglass he was in. In another attempt, being anxious to escape, Ninjor began beating his fists up against the glass, but once again the glass prevailed due to Ninjor's strength being minimized due to his miniature size. Ninjor plopped himself back down into the sand, depressed at the fact that he may never be able to walk amongst the Earth again or even better, save it from the Oni that has been released up on the planet. "This... Is going to be a long day." said Ninjor.

In the meantime, the Youth Center was packed with teenagers, trying to get their last few moments of downtime in with their friends before school started back. The entire building was buzzing with chatter and laughter as the teens were all enjoying their time within the Youth Center. All except for one teenager.. "Virgil!" Steve called out to his worker. Virgil was a tall, brown skinned, goofy teen, who was really popular amongst those he went to school with, but there was one man he wasn't popular with at the moment, and that man was Steve, who was Virgil's boss. Steve wasn't exactly the jerk type of boss that most might think he is. Actually he's a pretty cool guy once you get to know him. But one thing most people hate about Steve while working for him is the fact that he is flat-out lazy.

This man wouldn't do any work unless his life depended on it and apparently at this time, his life doesn't really depend on him doing any work. Pulling silly string out of his hair and laughing, Steve trotted up to Virgil and patted him on the back. "Hey Virg, those guys over there need some smoothies. You think you can get that for me, home-man?" asked Steve trying his best to act like the youth that was in the building. Virgil looked up to Steve with a slight frown before softly shaking his head from side to side. "Its homeboy.. Say it with me.." said Virgil before the two recited the word together. Virgil then continued on to answer Steve's question after correcting him on his bad slang.

"Look man.. I'm out here bustin' my butt trying to get these tables ready for the next crew that wants to come in and chill. Can't you do it?" asked Virgil, as he continued to wipe off the table. Steve placed his hand on Virgil's shoulder. "You know Virgil.. One day I might not be here to run this place.. And one day I want this place to be as successful as I am and in order for that to happen I am going to have to mold you into a leader.. Now I would do the task myself but my hands are full right now if you know what I'm saying? So freeze out and just do this one thing for me ok? Alright." said Steve before walking off. Virgil slammed his hand on the table before going to Juice Bar. "Its CHILL OUT, man.. How are you gonna try to talk like everyone and you can't even say the damn words right?!! And I don't see how this place is going anywhere? With owners like you this place is gonna run straight into the ground. All I know, is that I'm not even tryin' to be here that long.." said Virgil to himself while walking along to the Juice Bar.

" man i am super bored when is something going to happen!?" said Greyson to him self sitting there. He sat down indian style with his hand on his cheeks like he was bored..

"Jason?" said a little voice from out of no where. "mmmmmm" Said Jason. "Jason!" said a even bigger voice. "MMMMMMMM!!!" Jason said again as he rolled over. Just then he felt funny and wet. He heard a little voice laughing. Jason hopped up out of the bed to find out that he peed in the bed " Holy Crap!" Jason said as he was rubbing his eyes and saw the huge stain on his bed. Jason turned around to see his younger brother and his older brother who has been back from college because of the summer. Jason smiled and grabbed his little brother and said " so you think thats funny little man huh?". Jason started to tickle his younger brother to the point where he had to pee. Just as he let go of him he older brother jumed pounced all over Jason.

" AHHHH Daniel get off!" Jason replied laughing. Daniel got off and said " it is late in the afternoon get up!". Jason looked at his clock and said " well i guess it is!" he grabbed his clothes and hopped in the shower saying " what planned for today before school starts soon bro?". Jason started to wash up. " Ummm i want to spend time with my two favorite little brothers is that okay with you?". Jason smiled from behind the shower curtain and said " cool beans i will be out in a sec". He got out the shower and put on his black thermal and his blue jeans. He ran down stairs with his two brothers " Stop running" said a sweet voice coming from the kicthen " sorry ma" said Jason. " So where are you boys going for the remainder of the day?" " Daniel is treating us to lunch at the Youth Center" Said Jason grabbing his keys. " okay". Daniel said to Jason " we are taking two seperate cars? why?" Jason said " i want to hook up with my buddy Virgil Once he gets off of work". He and his older brother drove in seperate cars to the Youth Center.

Once they got in there it was packed, but they didn't care. Jason, Daniel and BJ sat in a booth waiting to be served.

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason

“Family? What family? this here, This stopped being a family when we left this godforsaken place!” shouted Tare or ‘Crane’ as she liked to be called. Oni, her mother, was already in tears as her husband John tried desperately to talk some sense into their daughter, but to no prevail.

Oni stepped forward, tears falling from her eyes as she spoke, “Honey, please... You used to love Angel Grove.”

“Yeah and you guys used to be good parents, but I guess things change.” She said bitterly. There were more words exchanged, but Crane cut off from that point. There was nothing more her parents could honestly say to her. Their reasoning for moving her back to Angel Grove was for ‘her’ benefit. But in her mind this was their way for them to get her away from her boyfriend Bone.

After yet another shout fest Crane took off the door and just left. She hadn’t felt this alone since they first moved to Chicago six years ago and she wanted nothing more than to run back and live with Bone. But knowing her parents they’d find her and have Bone thrown in jail since he was a few years older.

Crane could feel people watching, staring at her as she walked down the side walk. It was no doubt because of what she had on. It was the ending of summer in California, so it was odd to see someone in black pants, with a black and pink long sleeved shirt with a black hoodie. She also had on black fingerless gloves, black nail polish and thick eyeliner with pick streaks in her hair, giving her a gothic/emo look though she wasn’t.

As she made her way down the street she started to recognize some of the shop that were still around. like the Angel Grove Barber shop and the AG Music shop. A small smile crept over her face as she walked up seeing the Youth center. She remembered when her neighbor Kimberly would take her there sometimes and show her some gymnastics. But that was so long ago, and Crane hadn’t done any since she left Angel Grove.

She walked passed the front and peeked inside a moment with a sigh before stepping in looking around before moving towards the juice bar and sat down.

Ken Godai

Ken couldn't really remember how he ended up in this situation. He was just on his way to go to the Youth Center for his time at the gym. Maybe it was because must've done something upsetting. Maybe he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatever the reason was, he was now stuck in the back seat of a car with Frank and Cody at the front.

"Look guys, is this really necessary?" Ken asked. "I don't see what I did wrong."

"We just happened to come across you." Frank said. "Saved us the trouble of finding our next victim."

While Ken was stuck at the backseat, he noticed that they were just about to pass the Youth Center. "Well, um... whatever it is you're gonna do to me, can it wait for later?" He asked. "I kinda have to pee."

"Then just pee in your pants." Cody said, while his eyes were still looking ahead.

"You sure?" Ken asked. He then looked around the seat. "This looks like a pretty new car. You really want me to pee in here and stain the seats? I could only imagine what your parents would say when they see it. It might be a rather horrible thing to witness."

"Alright, let him out." Cody said. "Just make it fast." Cody stopped the car right at the curb. As soon as Frank opened the door to let Ken out, Ken darted out of the car and ran to the Youth Center. "HEY!" Frank chased Ken to the entrance, but once Ken got inside, he knew he was safe. "Sorry about that Frank, maybe next time." Ken walked casually into the Youth Center. He knew that if Frank or Cody caused another scene, it would be the final straw for Steve as he's had to deal with their aggressive nature countless times before.

Luckily for Ken, when Frank opened the door, Ken took his gym bag with him when he bolted out. He went to the change room and got changed in his shorts and t-shirt. Ready for his time at the gym, Ken first went to the treadmill, starting his workout with cardio.

Dressed in a plain white shirt, blue jeans with a big rip where his right knee is, and a pair of red Nike hightops, many would think Virgil was one the teens that were walking around. But apparently it wasn't that way as Virgil was busy making his way through the crowded Youth Center in a very depressed and irritated state of mind. After the countless 'excuse mes' and 'get out the ways', Virgil finally made his way to the Juice Bar where he would spot a young lady sitting there with a black hoodie on with the appearance of a goth chick. Once Virgil went around to the other side of the bar where he would prepare to be a server, he wouldn't pay attention to the girl's face, not even noticing that it was someone he hasn't seen in years. His back was turned towards her for the moment as well due to him trying to put on an apron.

"Welcome to the Juice Bar. Would you like to try our Brrrrr-iff-ic Smoothie today? Brrriffic?.. C'mon Steve, how do you expect to sell something with a wack name like that?!" said Virgil out loud in a very dull voice. He then turned around to the girl, noticing the make-up she had on.

"Whoa! The dead has risen! How you doin' Bride of Chucky?! You in here chillin' too before school starts or did you just have an urge for brains? Let me guess you want a bloody mary smoothie?" asked Virgil to the girl, chuckling a bit.

"Just playin', just playin'.. I am your humble servant, how may I serve you?" asked Virgil, throwing a little charm at the girl after his few jokes.

Virgil flipped up a glass and caught it before placing it on the counter, waiting for the girl to tell him what kind of smoothie she would like. As Virgil looked at her, he couldn't help but notice that this girl looked a whole lot like his childhood friend, Taregan.. 'But what are the odds of her coming back to Angel Grove?' thought Virgil.

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason


Crane drummed her black polished fingernails against the counter as she waited for someone to serve her. The buzz of chatter from the fellow youth around her reminded her a little of Chicago. Everyone was trying to enjoy their last few days of freedom before school started once again, but for Crane, she wouldn’t be free until her 18th birthday. It wasn’t for another few months which it seemed to be forever, but she had it all planned out. She’d wait till she was legally 18 and then she was transferring back to Chicago, moving in with Bone and then live her life.

Looking up as a young man walked behind the counter she grumbled, “about time,”

"Welcome to the Juice Bar. Would you like to try our Brrrrr-iff-ic Smoothie today? Brrriffic?.. C'mon Steve, how do you expect to sell something with a wack name like that?!"

As he turned around it didn’t take long for her to recognize him, but it was apparent that he didn’t recognize her.

"Whoa! The dead has risen! How you doin' Bride of Chucky?! You in here chillin' too before school starts or did you just have an urge for brains? Let me guess you want a bloody mary smoothie?" asked Virgil to the girl, chuckling a bit.

She glared a bit at him as her mouth formed more into a frown.

"Just playin', just playin'.. I am your humble servant, how may I serve you?" asked Virgil, throwing a little charm at the girl after his few jokes.

“Yeah whatever smart mouth, just get me a regular strawberry smoothie alright?” she said as her cell started ringing. Reaching into her pocket she answered it, “yeah,” she said turning from Virgil, “Hey babe, glad you called, just about to lose my mind in this damned hick town,” she said with smirk, “Oh I miss you too hun, don’t worry, just a couple months then I’m out. Last thing I wanted was to come back here again...” she sighed a little, “alright well I’ll talk to ya soon.” She then turned off her phone and turned around, “yo Virg would you get me a straw perhaps or is that a little to difficult for you,” she said rolling her eyes.

Jason ate his food with his two brothers. He really want to take a walk by him self in the park. But he knew that DJ would want to go too because thats one of his favorite places in the world. So he kept eating until he was full. For course he ordered 2nds and 3rds. Daniel and DJ looked at Jason like he was going to die " yo slow down on the food bro you might bust". Jason looked down at his stomach and saw a little gut sitting over his pants line. Finally Jason was alone. Don't get him wrong he loves hanging with his brothers alot but sometimes he wants some down time. He went down the two little steps that led to thework out area. He started out with his sit ups and streches. Then he started to do spin kicks and flips. Crane drummed her black polished fingernails against the counter as she waited for someone to serve her. The buzz of chatter from the fellow youth around her reminded her a little of Chicago. Everyone was trying to enjoy their last few days of freedom before school started once again, but for Crane, she wouldn’t be free until her 18th birthday. It wasn’t for another few months which it seemed to be forever, but she had it all planned out. She’d wait till she was legally 18 and then she was transferring back to Chicago, moving in with Bone and then live her life.

Looking up as a young man walked behind the counter she grumbled, “about time,”

"Welcome to the Juice Bar. Would you like to try our Brrrrr-iff-ic Smoothie today? Brrriffic?.. C'mon Steve, how do you expect to sell something with a wack name like that?!"

As he turned around it didn’t take long for her to recognize him, but it was apparent that he didn’t recognize her.

"Whoa! The dead has risen! How you doin' Bride of Chucky?! You in here chillin' too before school starts or did you just have an urge for brains? Let me guess you want a bloody mary smoothie?" asked Virgil to the girl, chuckling a bit.

She glared a bit at him as her mouth formed more into a frown.

"Just playin', just playin'.. I am your humble servant, how may I serve you?" asked Virgil, throwing a little charm at the girl after his few jokes.

“Yeah whatever smart mouth, just get me a regular strawberry smoothie alright?” she said as her cell started ringing. Reaching into her pocket she answered it, “yeah,” she said turning from Virgil, “Hey babe, glad you called, just about to lose my mind in this damned hick town,” she said with smirk, “Oh I miss you too hun, don’t worry, just a couple months then I’m out. Last thing I wanted was to come back here again...” she sighed a little, “alright well I’ll talk to ya soon.” She then turned off her phone and turned around, “yo Virg would you get me a straw perhaps or is that a little to difficult for you,” she said rolling her eyes.

Confused at the girl knowing his name, Virgil would once more take a look at her again, questioning himself on how does she know him.

"How do you... Hold up.." said Virgil before he did as she asked.

He grabbed the glass and held it under the smoothie machine, pulling down a lever. 'Could it be?.. I mean I haven't seen her since I was eleven!' Virgil thought to himself. As the smoothie finished filling up the glass, Virgil released the lever and turned around to the girl, getting just only a quick glance at her once more before finally recognizing her.

"TAREGAN!!!" shouted Virgil, with a big emphatic grin across his face. He then grabbed a straw from the straw bin and slid it beside the glass.

"Yo, I haven't seen you in years! C'mere girl and show me some love!" said Virgil before taking off his apron and coming around to where Taregan was, with his arms open, preparing to hug her.

While this was going on, another teenage girl walked through the door. She was curly haired, brown skinned, and a smile that could brighten anyone's day. She was dressed in pink and white short sleeved shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and pink slippers. Her name was Christina Kealoha also known as Virgil's sister. Christina is known as a very prissy girl.. In Virgil's words, she's a 'wannabe princess'. But she isn't the snob type most would think she is. Christina is actually very nice to others she may encounter, including Frank and Cody, even though they annoy her with them constantly asking her out. Aside from her kindness, Christina is very smart, taking heavy interests technology and history. Even though she isn't the quiet type, Christina is very shy when it comes to guys that she likes.

The feelings of missing him and the warmth of his welcoming made her actually feel wanted for once, something she had missed terribly. But little Taregan had been changed up and on lock down for the last six years, and there was no way Crane was about to let her off that easy. She looked at him with a slight frown, “It Crane now, not Taregan alright? And put your arms down, you look like an idiot.” she said as she turned a b it from him. At that moment she felt like the worst person in the world, which wasn’t something Crane felt often. Well at least she didn’t let herself. She’d been way meaner to others and this was her version of being nice, but for some reason she felt horrible and she really wished she could take it back, but didn’t.

She mumbles something under her breath and pulled out a few bucks, “Listen just forget I was here okay? You’ve got customers to tend to,” she said placing the money on the counter and sliding off the stool. She turned from him and then stopped, looking to Virgil she had a sorry look in her eyes, “Virg... Taregan’s gone okay, so don’t see me as her. I’m just another face.” she said before moving away and out the door, her eyes glazed over as she walked quickly away from the youth center towards the park. Why was she letting herself feel like this? No connections, that was the plan, her life was in Chicago, not here... She just didn’t think it would be this hard to stay disconnected with her old home.

Jenson woke up by the sound of a screaming cat, who had been sleeping in a window that was suddenly opened. It seemed to be quite late already. Jense had been sleeping bad that night. The cold had kept him up, especially since his blanket had been taken by ignorant city cleaners while he was away. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and got up. He had planned to go to the Juice Bar today, so he would need some clean clothes to wear. He opened the closet he'd dragged from the street into his alley to see if he had anything left. He shouldn't have bothered. His clothes were all being cleaned. He knew that. He grabbed the deodorant can he had found only half-used in the trash and tried to mask the musk smell of his clothes. Then he set off.

Not much later Jenson rang the doorbell at Mrs. Rosemary. She was a kind old lady. She had offered to take Jenson in when she found out he was living on the streets, but Jenson had kindly refused the offer. He didn't want to be a burden for her. On top of that Crysen 6:31 said "One should not share one roof with those of no faith in Crysen's Revelation". He had accepted her offer to wash his clothes every now and then though. "Ah, Jenson." Mrs. Rosemary said as she opened the door. "Come on in." She gestured as she turned and strolled back down the hallway. "Tea?" "No thanks, Mrs. Rosemary. I have a few other things to do today." Jenson replied. It was a bit weird coming from someone like him, but he did feel obliged to go to the Youth Centre. It would do him good. "Pity. Though it's always good to hear you are busy." Mrs. Rosemary replied. She had given up on asking him to call her Rose. "Here are you clothes." She handed him a bag she had waiting in the kitchen. "Thank you very much." Jenson smiled. He walked back out the door and waved as he got out of sight.

Jenson walked back to the alley and put on some baggy jeans and a hoody, which was able to cover his bald head. He wouldn't want all the stares and the shocks from his appearance. "Right, Youth Centre next." Jenson thought to himself as if he needed to help himself remember. A few minutes later he arrived at the Juice Bar. As always Jense was quite shy seeing all these people. There was quite a buzz going on today. It seemed everyone were in a hurry to have a last bit of fun before they'd leave this world or something. Ninjor 8:6: "Business is the messenger of a life-changing event. Positive or otherwise". It worried Jense. He saw a few people he recognized from earlier trips he made to this place. Jenson tried to remember their names. Ken Godai, Jason something, Christina Kealoha and her brother... something Kealoha Jr. Jenson was bad at names. Trying to go unnoticed, he slipped to the bar.

"Huh?" Ken's attention turned to the person who was standing next to the treadmill. Sadly for his part, he didn't keep his feet moving. He instead found himself standing on the moving belt of the treadmill and it sent him tumbling off the machine and landing rather hard onto the floor. "...ow...." Ken got back on his feet after rubbing his head to make sure it was still intact. "I'm alright everyone. Nothing to see here."

He looked back to the person who made him lose his focus on the treadmill and instantly recognized her. "Oh, Christina. Didn't know it was you." Christina was a nice person, well at least nice to him. He's never really seen her much outside of class. He always thought she'd be a nice person to spend some more time with, but after the unfortunate incident with his ex, he hasn't really been interested in finding another girl. From what he's heard, his ex was seeing someone new and from the more rumors he's heard, this new guy wasn't exactly the best.

"Didn't know you were the kind of girl who comes to this place." Ken went back to the treadmill to grab his water bottle and towel, wiping his face with the towel and taking a few chugs from the water. He then saw her brother, who happened to be working here. "You here with your brother, or on your own?"

Jason sipped some of his water. He turned his chair around to face the crowded Youth Center " wow is is pretty packed in here". He turned back around to set his water bottle down. " Steve have you seen Virgil?". The man behind the counter wiped off the lone bar table and nodded no. Jason looked kind of disappointed becuase he really waned to hang with his best friend.

Just as he was turning around he saw Virgil standing there. Jason started to smile and he got up and walked over to where Virg was. He put one arm around him and said " whats up?".

He really didn't like what his friend had become and he was intending on doing something about it, even if 'Crane' was in control, Virgil was determined to get Taregan back at just about any cost. Not only was Virgil feeling the effects of his friend disrespecting him, he was also hurt by the fact that she just up and left. This really caused Virgil to not hold his tongue back and say what he wanted to say as Crane was walking out.

"Oh I see what this is, Tare! This is how y'all do in Chicago, huh?! Walk out on your friends?!! Well you ain't out there no more! You're in Angel Grove now and here we don't walk out on our friends!!!" shouted Virgil as loud as he could with much emotion behind it.

He almost felt like crying, but he held his tears back as he looked on as the one girl other than his sister and mother, that he cared about to an extent that he would do anything for her. Haunted by a brief memory of him and Taregan playing, Virgil snapped out of the flashback and walked along the floors of the Youth Center. "You walked out six years ago.. I see you again and you just leave once again.." uttered Virgil in absolute confusion. Suddenly Virgil would feel an arm being tossed around his shoulders. Looking over, Virgil saw his friend, Jason, looking him square in his face. Virgil laughed a bit, knowing that still had at least one friend he could count on. "What's up?" asked Jason, to Virgil. Virgil exhaled a bit while looking to the floor in grief.. "A friend stopped by and gave me some bad news. I'll tell you about it later. Don't feel like talkin' about it. What's good with you?" asked Virgil to his friend Jason.

Over on the other side of the Youth Center, Christina was busy trying to get Ken to notice her. She got him to notice her alright.. He noticed her enough to fall off of the treadmill. When Christina saw this her eyes widened before rushing to Ken's aid. "Are you alright?!" asked Christina with great concern, trying to help him up. Ken was able to get back up to his feet on his own and let Christina know that she had startled him for a moment.

"Oh, Christina. Didn't know it was you."

Christina just smiled at him for a moment, before replying back to him.

"I'm sorry I disturbed you.. I just thought I'd come over to say hi." said Christina, thinking in the back of her mind that she could have had something a whole lot better to say than just that.

"Didn't know you were the kind of girl who comes to this place." Ken went back to the treadmill to grab his water bottle and towel, wiping his face with the towel and taking a few chugs from the water. He then saw her brother, who happened to be working here. "You here with your brother, or on your own?"

Christina frowned a bit and then looked back at Virgil witha disgusted look on her face. She loved Virgil and all, but she found hanging out with him and his friends, very disgusting.. All they do is watch tv, play video games, crack jokes on each other, and get all sweaty and musty by playing sports outside, which was something Christina was not trying to do. The only things Christina and her brother liked doing together was surfing and swimming. Christina turned her attention back to Ken. "No.. Virgil and his friends are disgusting. Really I just came here to get a smoothie before I went out to the park. I saw you, so I just decided to come through and say hello." said Christina. She was very hesitant to asking Ken her next question, due to the thoughts of what he was thinking cluttering her brain. Trying to get her mind off of his thoughts, Christina began playing with her hair, twirling a curly lock in between her hair. "Umm so.... I was wondering... I mean if you weren't busy. If you would like to join me at the park?" asked Christina hunching her shoulder up slightly as if she wasn't sure if that was the right thing to ask Ken.

Moments later a crash was heard from the entrance of the Youth Center. Most of the teens inside, turned their attention towards the door as they would see none other than the two trouble-makers of Angel Grove High School, Frank and Cody. Scanning around the room after threatening to beat up a few freshmen who were looking at them, Cody would lock his eyes on Christina and immediately hit Frank in the arm, signaling him to follow along. The two made their way over to where both Christina and Ken were standing and just completely invaded their conversation, beginning an unpleasant one of their own. Frank turned his attention to Ken, while Cody was busy trying to work himself to get closer to Christina. "Hey! You think you got away didn't ya? Why don't me and you have a little sparring match right now! Don't worry, I won't hurt you too bad." said Frank, pounding his fist into his hand as he approached Ken. Cody wrapped his arm around Christina pulling her close to him. Christina tried her best to push him off of her, but he was too strong. "Hey babe, how about we leave this place and I show you how to have a really good time, eh?" asked Cody to Christina. Christina looked at Cody with disgust as she couldn't stand being in his clutches.

While busy talking to Jason, Virgil spotted the commotion from across the room and smacked his teeth. "Man.. Those two fools are here again?! And one of em' has my sister?! C'mon Jay, lets go introduce ourselves." said Virgil, before making his way over to where Frank and Cody were.

He figured he might as well approach him in this manner, as they were clearly of high upbringing. Didn't have the right effect though, Cody looked flabbergasted. "Ah, it's that weird cult guy." Cody replied eventually. Meanwhile more people got to the scene and Jenson was lost in the crowd. A circle started to form.

Jason rolled his eyes at the two boys and walked with Virgil over to where they where.

Crane’s heart jumped a little upon hearing Virgil yelling after her but she didn’t look up as she walked away from the center. Her face retreated further back into her hoodie as her eyes glazed over, threatening to produce tears, but she wasn’t about to let them to prevail. Why shed tears for a piece of her past? Why feel sorry and regret for someone who was no longer part of her life? These were the things she told herself and yet her heart ached all the same. Little Tare inside was tearing apart inside which surprised Crane because she had thought she had let go of that part of her past, but the truth was that seeing Virgil again... Seeing his happy eyes, his inviting arms, then the sorrow, even the anger he showed... it showed that he cared, even after all the years they had been apart.

Crane shook her head as she walked down the street, though it was in the 80’s she felt chilled, her mind a mess after seeing Virgil again. “Stop it Crane, stick to the plan. No connections, no attachments. You do school for a few months then it’s back to Chicago, back to your crew, back with your boyfriend.” she uttered to herself. Yeah, she didn’t need Virgil, or her parents, just Bone. He took care of her, had been since she started going to school there in Chicago. Given he was a few years older, and he wasn’t a Virgil, the fact of the matter if Crane didn’t go back soon, she was afraid Bone would replace her. No, he was defiantly not like Virgil, he would never pick up a relationship that’s been broken off for more than a year. Most likely when she did get back he’d act like she never left.

Crane stopped as she realized she was comparing Bone to Virgin, “Get your head together girl!” she said looking up as she saw a couple who was sitting on a bench looking at her very strange, she looked dead at them, “What, never seen a scizo before? Stop starin’ before I take those eyes and feed them to your girl,” she sneered. She chuckled lightly to herself as they both got up quickly and started walking the opposite way. “now that wasn’t hard, so why did it feel so wrong when I did it to Virg?” she asked herself as she turned to walked again only to stop dead in her tracks as she felt eyes on her again. She whipped around ready to mouth off to whom ever was staring only to find something peeking from behind a tree. “What the...” she took a few steps forward and then stopped as it ducked out of sight. “Was that a freakin bird?” she asked herself as she hurried up a little and looked. The slender white and pink neck of the bird moved out looking at her and Crane blinked. It slowly started to walked out and as it did Crane’s eyes got wide. “Oh...my...” She turned quick to a person walked past and grabbed him, “Dude do you see that?” she asked quickly pointing at the Crane walked towards her. The Guy however gave her a half weird half scared look on his face as he pulled away from her which pissed her off, “A simple yes or no would suffice jerk!” she shouted as she turned, only to find the large bird was still walked toward her, “whoa whoa, back up!” she shouted backing away which only made the bird advance. “Crap!” she shouted as she took off, running quickly towards the park, but as she looked back she found the bird was gone.

Breathing heavy she put her hands on her knees before standing up running her hands through her hair, pushing her hoodie off her head. Her black and pink hair flowing around her shoulders. “Okay g-get a grip, you are not loosing it. It’s just an actual Crane... in California... who is after me...” she closed her eyes, “I am loosing it,” she said before looking up to find the bird staring right at her from behind a tree, “What the crap!” she said before she started running again, she ran into someone hard and fell back on her butt, “Ow, jeez watch where your going!” she shouted looking up to find the bird gone again. “oh god, this place is driving me insane already...”

Ken's little conversation with Christina was cut short when Frank and Cody decided to enter the Youth Center. Oh great.

"Hey! You think you got away didn't ya? Why don't me and you have a little sparring match right now! "Hey, leave her alone." Ken said, trying to push his way through Frank. Since Frank was much stronger than he was, Ken could do very little in this situation. He then saw Virgil and a friend of his approach them. Ken knew that Virgil would get involved since his sister was as well. Jason stood there with his hands on his hip and tapped Frank and said " is there a problem here buddy?". Jason standing there with fire in his eyes. "Hey, stay out of this. This is between me and this little Chinese." Frank said, shoving Jason back. "Let's get one thing straight, I'm not Chinese. I'm Japanese-Korean. Don't ever make that mistake again." Frank smiled in amusement, this was the first time Ken had ever talked back to anyone like this. "Really? What are you gonna do? Kick my ass?" Now Ken found himself in a pretty tight spot. He knew a punch from Frank would knock him out cold, but he felt like he was the one who had to put him in his place. "Well, maybe not kick your ass. But I can sure as hell tire it out."

Now things really heated up, Ken just accepted Frank's challenge for a fight. Frank raised his fists, ready to make some bruises on Ken. Ken wasn't stupid, he knew going against Frank head on was a bad call, but he's seen Frank fight before. He knows how Frank's style of fighting is and how to work around that. Ken knows that Frank's a typical brute fighter; slow, but powerful. Ken's not a fighter, but he is a runner.

Frank made the first move, he swung a punch at Ken, but he managed to duck under it in time. Exactly like he suspected, Frank's punch was fairly slow, but he didn't need to feel it to know that it would hurt. "You kinda missed." Frank swung at him again, but Ken dodged that as well. Frank threw an uppercut at him and Ken stepped back to dodge that one. He was lucky with that, it almost got him in the chin. "I'm just gonna say it, I have absolutely no experience in martial arts. So I don't know what's going on here." Maybe Ken should keep his mouth shut, Frank was starting to boil with rage and that meant trouble for him. "Um...can someone help me?...........please?"

Virgil Kealoha Jr./Christina Kealoha

Virgil stepped up to where both Frank and Cody were. Now even though Frank and Cody were strong and somewhat, 'martial artist', Virgil was just as strong as them. Maybe not as skilled as they are in the arts, but he knew for a fact that he was just as strong as them. Virgil can't count how many times he has beaten Frank in weight lifting and out wrestled Cody on the mat, during P.E. Virgil took his arm and wrapped it around Frank's shoulder just as he was about to storm towards Ken. "Fraaaaank! Oh buddy.. Oh friend of mines!!!" said Virgil in a friendly high pitched voice. Frank tried to move Virgil's arm, but Virgil just tugged him closer to him and away from Ken.

"Gah! What do you want?! Can't you see I'm busy?!" asked Frank, very annoyed by Virgil. Virgil just smiled and forced Frank to turn towards both Cody and Christina.

"Oh you were?.. Well I'm sorry to hear that. One quick question though.. Why is your friend's grubby little hands around my sister? You know if I were smart.. And I am pretty smart.. I would say your friend is tryin' to wrap some game on my sister.. Am I not right?!" asked Virgil to Frank. Frank looked at the two and chuckled a bit before looking up to Virgil.

"Game? Nooo, no, no ,no.. He's trying to get some homework help." said Frank, hoping his lie would fool Virgil. Virgil exhaled before laughing a bit. He then transferred his arm around his shoulder into putting Frank into a well executed headlock.

"Now Frank.. Its the summer time.. Why on Earth would Cody be doing homework? Huh?.. Not only that, why would Tina want to help Cody? Eh? Frank.. You think I'm stupid don't you?" asked Virgil to Frank.

Frank who was getting really irritated thought it would be a good idea to insult Virgil. "Well not as much as your mother.." said Frank. Virgil released Frank out of laughter. The people watching could have thought Virgil was crazy.. The man just talked about his mother! But little did the people know, Virgil looked at this as a challenge.. Fresh out of his mind were some new insults ready to use for the new school year on the teachers and other students who might have bothered him. But in this case, Virgil decided that he was going to try out a few on Frank. "Frank you are funny! You are soooo funny, man!!! You know its so funny because, I had the same thought about your mother last night.. Your mother is so stupid, she tripped over a cordless phone!" said Virgil. Not a moment sooner, the crowd watching erupted in laughter, which got also Cody's attention. "Long time no see Virgil Kea-loser! Still cracking jokes huh? Well apparently, the jokes haven't been getting you any girls lately." said Cody with the instigating crowd buzzing with a few 'Oooh's' and one 'Get em Virg!' followed by a few laughs. Virgil smirked and shook his head as he walked over to Cody. He had often thought about hitting Cody in the face every single time he saw him, but his father had always taught him, violence was not the way. So Virgil just resulted to other things that would neutralize the situation.

"Cody.. Cody, Cody, Co-dy.. How's the life? Enjoyed working at the haunted house, eh?" asked Virgil to Cody. Cody looked around in confusion before answering Virgil back. "What are you talking about?" asked Cody. Virgil leaned back with his hand cupped over his mouth.

"C'mon now.. Don't play stupid.. I mean you are but, don't try to act like you don't know.. You know that you're so ugly that you went to the haunted house and came back out with an application." said Virgil, finishing his joke. The crowd busted once again with laughter. Virgil was even laughing a bit himself at his own joke.

"Hey.. Don't blame me.. I heard your mother is so ugly that she got arrested for looking out of the window!" said Virgil, who was again attacking with the insults, having everyone in the Youth Center laughing. By this point Cody and Frank were fed up with Virgil and his antics and were ready to put an end to his run. With an attempt to shut Virgil up, Cody would charge at Virgil with his fist drawn back. Out of nowhere a silverback gorilla would appear in front of Virgil, pushing him back. Startled by this and the push, Virgil would fall back on a table with smoothies on it. Upon falling on the table, the weigh of Virgil vaulted the smoothies up into the air and crashing on to Cody, draping his clothes with a goulash of smoothies. Cody shouted in embarrassment as everyone laughed at him. Virgil just smiled and shrugged his shoulders as Christina ran over to him, helping him up off the floor. Frank would now try his luck and go after both Ken and Jason.

"Ay yo, look out!" shouted Virgil, trying to warn the two. He then looked up to both Christina and Jenson..

"Man, did you two just see that gorilla that pushed me?! I swear it was just right there!" said Virgil, trying to convince the both of them. Christina chuckled and shook her head.

"Did you bump your head on the table? What gorilla?! You just moved back and tripped over someone's foot, that's all." said Christina. Virgil began rubbing his head in confusion.

"I did? Wait.. NO.. I know what I saw!" said Virgil, standing back up to his feet.

When he trieed to get up some kind of creature that looked like a frog started to come atr him Jason got pretty scared and said What in the World!! A Frog!". People started to look at him like he was crazy. Just as Jason wipped his eyes the frog was gone. " Whoa that was creppy i am never eating that old mustard again!"Jason said getting up and wipping his clothes off.

Just as he started to get up he saw the Vigril was throwing some mama jokes at Cody. Jason dissappered in the crowd Just then he heard Virgil yelling at him and Ken. Frank came running towards the two, Jason tripped him and ended up right behind Frank and said " AHHH! buddy buddy you thought you could get rid of me with a little shove huh?". Frank turned around with fear in his eyes. Just then Frank found some strength to swing at Frank. Jason leaned back and said " missed". Jason threw a gud sucker punch. Jason then grabbed Frank by the collar of his shirt and threw him to where Cody and Virgil was " heres you friend, we just had a little talk...". Jason then walked back to Ken and held his hand out and said " my name is Jason".

Emily Kellson:

It most certainly was a beautiful day in Angel Grove, and of course, her boss had her go to the park and nice days like this. Emily was to go and look at the flowers and other plants in the park and come up with some ideas for the flower shop. As she climbed into her car she grumbled in annoyance. "For once, can’t I just enjoy a nice day?" But little did she know how this day was going to turn out. She pulled out of the parking lot that was in front of the store and she waited for the light to turn red. As she was listening to one of her favorite songs, she nearly froze. She rubbed her eyes to see if she was seeing right. There was a grizzly bear crossing the street, using the crosswalk! When it made it about half way, it stopped and looked right at her. She couldn’t move and felt frozen. It then continued to walk and make its way down the street. She looked at the other car next to her, and the man seemed like he didn’t even see a thing. "Who couldn’t notice that?!" she questioned. The light turned green and she continued her way to the park.

She no sooner found a shady spot under a tree in the parking lot and she took it before someone else could. She then got out taking her camera and a notebook with her and made her way to the path that wound around the park. Her mind was still buzzing over what she had seen. She had gotten enough sleep, she hadn’t been drinking, was she losing her mind? She took a seat on a bench and clutched her items. Something wasn’t right. Just then she heard a girl, she turned and this girl running from something. She couldn’t see what it was but she rushed over to her and asked, "Hey you alright?" She tried to help her up.

Ken Godai

Ken took the hand he was offered and shook it. "I'm Ken." He looked to see that Frank was back on his feet and clearly upset. "Now, you pissed me off." Frank charged the two, fists raised and filled with rage.

Ken brought his guard up, ready for anything that Frank would throw at him. Suddenly, something appeared right before Frank, charging at him; a wolf. "What the..." The wolf jumped and attempted to pounce on Ken, he quickly ducked as the wolf jumped over him. Luckily for him, Frank swung a punch at him at the exact moment the wolf pounced. "Hold still you little prick!" Frank charged at Ken again, but Ken spun around and managed to trip him, sending him right into a table, landing hard on his head. Frank was now out cold, leaving Ken free from his wrath.

Ken looked back to where he last saw the wolf. Sure enough, it was still there, just staring at him. The wolf was now making its way out the doors of the Youth Center, but paused briefly to look back at Ken. The wolf looked as if it wanted Ken to follow. Ken couldn't really understand why he actually followed the wolf, but he did. He ran out of the Youth Center, seeing the wolf running to the park, jumping over cars and past people. "Why does no one else see this?" He picked up the pace and ran after the wolf.

She did not want to admit she was losing it, of coarse there was various explanations. Perhaps her water intake was lower than needed from the change from a cold climate to a hot one. Or maybe it was the stress from moving, her secret plans on moving back with her man, going back to a new school and seeing Virgil again... It WAS a ‘Crane’ she was seeing after all. That explained a lot right there, it had to be in her head, she had to be just stressed out.

Pulling her hoodie back, Crane pulled her hair into a pony tail, grabbing a pink scrugy from her pocket and tying her hair in it. Looking to the young woman and expecting she would just say no or look at her crazy like and walk away.

Virgil Kealoha Jr./Steve

Out of nowhere, Steve came into the scene, picking up both Frank and Cody by their arms. He then escorted them both out of the Youth Center after sharing a few words with them. He then turned back to Virgil and stormed towards him.

"You and your hoodlum friends get out too!" said Steve.

Virgil walked up to Steve with his arms out, trying to explain to him that it wasn't their fault that the fight broke out.

"Look man.. First off those guys aren't hoodlums. That's Frank and Cody. Second, we didn't even start the fight! They came in here messing with my sister and the guy she was talking to." explained Virgil.

Steve still didn't want to hear it. The messed up the tables, wasted smoothies, and got the Youth Center all hyped up. "I don't care.. Just leave, before any of your other homeslices and houseboys come in here again." said Steve, before he walked off shaking his head. Virgil raised an eyebrow at first before hearing Steve mess up on his so called slang again.

"Its homeboy!!!" shouted Virgil behind Steve.

He then turned to both Jason and Ken, walking towards them. Virgil didn't know what was going on but he knew that he had just saw something and he had a feeling those guys just did too, because they had the same look on their faces.

"I know you guys just saw something.. I can tell by the look on your faces. I saw something too.. It was a go- Nevermind.. Anyways, I'm out to head to the park, you two coming?" asked Virgil to both Jason and Ken.

Jason stood there for a moment while he kept hearing " Yo dude i was ready to hop all over those jerks". Jason saw the frog again right before it dissappeared. "I know you guys just saw something.. I can tell by the look on your faces. I saw something too.. It was a go- Nevermind.. Anyways, I'm out to head to the park, you two coming?". Jason wiped hhis face with amazement and finally connected himself back to the conversation he was having with Virgil.

Jason smiled and said " Yeah man lets go. Do you think Angel Grove has frogs?". Jason wondred again as he looked in the smae spot where he had last saw the Frog and seen nothing. Jason then saw himself back in the conversation with his best friend and his new friend Ken.

Ken followed the other two as they went to the park. Virgil mentioned that he's seen something as well, was it also the wolf? Was there a connection to them seeing things? Or was Ken simply going crazy?

"I'd rather chase after something that might not really be there than stay here and deal with Bert and Ernie." Ken said, referring to Frank and Cody. He looked towards the park, trying to see where the wolf had gone. Sure enough, it was still at the park. It wasn't doing anything, just staying there at the park. Ken was now suspicious about this wolf, if it wasn't doing anything, then why is it there.

Maybe this girl had her coffee at the same place and they gave her something too. She swallowed and wrapped her sweater around her tighter.

Crane looked at the girl with a glare, "Oh so what, because of how I look I must be on drugs?" she hissed. "you know, forget it... Your just like everyone else," she said walking away. Just then she stopped abruptly seeing the crane right in front of her. It tilted its head to her and she took a step back blinking. "This isn't possible..." she whispered under her breath. The crane then stepped backwards and ducked behind a tree. Putting her hands on her head she closed her eyes trying to figure out what was going on not really paying attention to the girl. "Okay, possibly the heat mixed with lack of water causing the hallucinations..." she mumbled to herself thinking

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

Jenson saw everyone was breaking up and the struggle was over. He decided today was ruined anyway, because the mood was a bit gone. Maybe there would be some other place he could go. He exited the Youth Center.

Just as he walked towards the door, he heard footsteps behind him. Fast-paced, on the verge of running, and it were two people. Suddenly he felt an arm being wrapped around him. It felt uncomfortable. "Hey, man. You were just the guy we needed to talk to." Frank said. Walking next to him so closely showed how much bigger than Jenson he was. Jenson was kinda short after all. Cody joined them on the other side of Jenson, though he just walked along. He didn't wrap his arm around Jenson. Might've been a bit hard to walk that way anyway.

Locked like that the three of them walked out the door and onto the street. "You know, we don't really like you that much, but we saw something interesting the other day and we kinda need an expert's opinion on it. Your opinion." Frank said, with a tone that showed it was something important. "Yeah, we found this statue, and we think it's related to that stuff you worship." Cody continued. Frank gave him an angry glance as if he had wanted to say it. "It's called Crysen's Revelation." Jenson said calmly, to give it some emphasis. "Yeah... Right... That." Frank replied. "It's too big to carry or anything though, and it's kinda far away. But if it's worth something, we might bring it and sell it or something. Could you come and have a look with us?" He continued. "Sell?" Jenson thought. "We'll see about that." No artifact of Crysen's Revelation would be plundered away and sold from right under his nose. He was a bit suspicious whether it was true though, but it would make sense Frank and Cody saw money in it and needed an opinion before investing any effort in it. It would be worth investigating. "Okay, I could help." Jenson said. "Good. Come join us in my car. We'll have to drive to the desert, out of town." Frank said. The walked towards the parking lot.

Keres the Spider Oni

Just as the teens were all heading to the park, a strong gust of wind blew throughout the air, rendering every single soul silent for the moment. The only thing the people that were outside could hear were eerie whispers that traveled along the wings of the wind. Soon the silence stopped as the sounds of Angel Grove returned back to normal. The wind had also stopped picking up. But along with the wind came three evil spirits. With the first being named Keres. Keres was once a girl that roamed the Earth as a human. She often tortured many with the power of her ancient witchcraft, but she was stopped by Ninjor, ending with him sending her soul into the other world. Keres wandered around the city of Angel Grove until she was able to find an living organism, which happened to be a spider.

Possessing the spider, Keres' essence of her spirit transformed the spider into a horrid spider monster. After her transformation was complete, Keres began her assault on the citizens on Angel Grove, by spraying a web-like substance on them and sucking their life-force dry. It wouldn't be long before Keres would sense the way to where both the Crane and Bear were.

"Ahhh.. I sense the essence of the very two warriors who helped put me away when I once was alive.." said Keres before using her unearthly senses to track down the two Ninjetti spirits.

Keres then used her powers to transform the cocooned humans into insect-like humanoids. The grunts ran up to Keres worshiping her, chanting her name, with one trying to touch her. Keres knocked the grunt back and began to bark orders at them.

"Silence!!! Listen my children.. There are spirits lurking around this town.. Ancient spirits not like my own.. Find them! And when you find them... KILL THEM!!!" said Keres, before letting out a devious laugh. The grunts known as Insect Youkai, dispatched themselves within the city, destroying anything and anyone that stood in the way of their mission. Soon the creatures would find both Taregan and Emily. Together the Insect Youkai were more than what the two teenage girls could handle alone.. Even if their spirits were helping them. One snarled at Taregan while another reached out at Emily.

Ken Godai

Ken followed the two others into the park. Ken still had his eyes on the wolf, but the other two were looking in other directions. Ken continued to stare at the wolf, wondering what to do; approach it? Scare it off? Leave it be? While contemplating on what to do, he suddenly heard some people screaming. "What the..." Looking at another direction, Ken suddenly saw giant insect-like freaks running towards him and his new friends. "What the hell are they?"

The Youkai reached the three of them and attacked. Ken leaned back to avoid a slash and began to move around the place, avoiding a hit from them. When he managed to get behind one of the Youkai, he threw a punch at the back of the head. Once he made contact, Ken retracted his hand and rubbed the knuckles. "OW!" The Youkai turned to him and struck him in the stomach with a hard kick. Ken fell back a good foot or two, with the wind knocked out of him. He got back to his feet, weakly and slowly. Ken was not the fighting type and these monsters didn't make it feel any better.

Other Youkai turned their attentions to him. Fighting against one was bad enough, but addition ones were making things worse. All Ken could resort to was running and pushing them back when he had the chance. Hopefully, some miracle would appear and these things would disappear if he stayed alive long enough.

Jason was lagging behind he friend Virgil and his new friend Ken. Jason was kicking the grass under neath him and throwing rock where ever he found some. Just as he threw his 3rd rock a coupld of ugly looking things came towards them. " What are those!" Jason said backing up. He noticed like 4 of them started to run after Jason. Luckly near by there was a play ground Jason could escape to.

He ran up the slide and the things started to follow him " leave me alone!" Jason said running downt he step. He met one at the bottom Jason tired to kick but it grabed his legs Jason then did a spin kick and kick the monster his his free leg. The rest of Youkai's came up on the equipment and ran towards Jason. Jason had no choice but to fight his way out. He did a side flip down to where the Youkai's was and said " Bring it!". Jason ran up to punch one of them when the other one tripped Jason and they grabbed both arms. " Let Go!". Jason did a back flip and un tangled his arms by fliping the two Youkai's . "One more to go" said Jason running to the grassy area.

Nothing was there " where are you?". Just then the Youkai appeared from the sky. Jason jumped back and kick the Youkai to the ground. " now that does it!". Just then more appeared and Jason ran Wishing these things would go away.

Emily Kellson:

Emily frowned; guess that was the wrong way to go. All of sudden she felt a presence behind her. She turned to face a clan of what looked like giant insects. Her feet froze and she couldn’t move.

“Ugh… what are you guys!?” she cried out.

Suddenly some of them came towards her while the others went to the other girl. They approached her and one of them pushed her to the ground. She gave a small yelp and got up quickly and tried to run away from them, but she was the surrounded. She cried for help, but it seemed all the other people at the park and ran away safely. She felt alone and as if there was nothing that she could do.

Jaden had a smile on his face as he rode his mountain bike up into the park, slowly he braked and parked at a small post where he leaned his favorite silver and white bike against it.

He wore a simple pair of black sneakers and white socks that contrasted perfectly against them as well as his brown skin though both the socks and his legs weren't visible since he wore blue jeans.

On his upper torso a white shirt and black hooded vest rested over him, beads of sweat covered his brow due to the bike ride but he was far from tired.

His dark brown eyes slowly moved about taking in the scenery before him, the young man had many fond memories of the place and Angel Grove itself.

The opprotunity to enjoy the view before him wouldn't last long, screams filled the air and soon enough the sight of people running from out of the park caused him to frown.

"That is never a good sign." thought the former ranger as he ran forward.

As he ran forward he could make out strange creatures surrounding a brown haired girl(ybranger), as he got closer his adrenaline begin to pump and his breathing increased.

Slowly he turned the build up into good use and let out a low growl before jumping up and ramming his shoulder into one of the creatures sending it sprawling.

Clicking and grunting among each other a few turned their attention to Jaden who was in turn studying the creatures. "Not putties or Tengu...but something totally different. No matter..." he thought dropping into a stance.

Two of the creatures rushed forward before he could move, the man's eyes widened as his arms were grabbed and before he could breath he was lifted up and slammed to the ground twice.

Pain spread through his body as the breath was knocked out of him, his mouth opened and the only thing he was able to say was "Damn." before he was lifted up again.

Swiftly he took a breath and extended his foot to the neck of one of the creatures, the impact caused an audible thud and his enemy went sprawling to the ground.

As he was released by that one he begin to fall, using the momentum he allowed himself to expertly roll down but midway through he grabbed his opponent's wrist and brought him down with him.

"Hey get out of here!" he shouted at the girl as he stood up, his breathing increased slightly as he glanced back at the youth.

Opening his mouth he started to speak again to tell the girl to make a run for it but instead he found himself muttering another low curse as four more of the creatures begin to charge him.

"Fine..." he growled as he thrust his left hand behind him. "You want to play? Lets play!" he roared.

Startled, confused or interested the group stopped short of him as Jaden continued to keep his left hand behind him...if any of his old allies would have been around it would have been obvious to them that he was in an all too familiar 'Morphing Stance'...but for the past several years he had not been a ranger.

It wasn't until his hand fell to the wallet in his pocket did he remember, embrassed at his gaffe his cheeks reddened and a small grin appeared on his face.

Clearing his throat he slowly brought his hand back around and shrugged his shoulders. "Old habits die hard huh fellas?" he said as he begin to take several steps back.

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason


As Crane began to leave the park trying to figure out how to stop her hallucinations she stopped abruptly as it seemed like everything went silent. A eerie breeze seemed to pass through the town that made her hair stand on ends. She looked around a moment noticing she didn’t see the bird anymore, but it didn’t give her relief. “Something isn’t right,” she murmured. Just then she turned to be face to face with a really weird and very ugly looking bug creature. As it snarled at her, her mind reeled with a million thoughts. Was she having a very bad reaction to something someone slipped to her, causing her to see these things? If so why did the creature smell so bad?

Just then she heard Emily cry out for help and she knew this was not in her head, but she realized this a second to late as she took a single step back, only to receive a hard blow to the chest. She could have sworn she heard something crack as she flew backwards onto the ground. She gasped for air as she looked at the creatures wide eyed as they surrounded her. Forcing the pain to the back of her mind, she forced herself to her feel glaring at the creatures. “You wanna fight huh?” she sneered as one advanced. Raising her arm she blocked the hit only to fall back into more of the creatures. Her arm now throbbing from the block as the creatures held her back. The other creature who had hit her first coming up and kicking her hard in the gut as the other’s let her go just in time for her to hit the ground hard. She coughed as blood spewed from her mouth. Gasping for air she looked up just in time to see one of the bug men ready to deliver it’s final blow when the bird appeared attacking it. All Crane saw was it’s large wings and the strange squawking sound as it seemed to be trying to rip it apart. “Guess you are real,” she wheezed trying to get up, only to find herself surrounded once more, looking past the creatures to the other side of the park she noticed there were other's fighting, she couldn't give up... it couldn't end like this for her

Virgil stopped dead in his tracks as his eyes gazed upon the creatures that was attacking Angel Grove. His first thoughts were to run, but he knew he couldn't do that because his friends and others were in danger. Looking around to get a quick glance around the area, Virgil noticed the large amount of creatures, but he also noticed that some of the people were trying to fight these things back. "C'mon people... You run away from the monsters not fight 'em." said Virgil before he took the palm of his hand and planted it over his face. Sighing, Virgil knew that he had to do something. His heart raced as he knew that today was the day that he knew he was going to die. Looking down to the ground, the frightened teen picked up a few rocks and began throwing them at the creatures, getting their attention. "Ey!!! You wanna fight?! Huh?!! Come get some!" said Virgil before putting his hands up, trying to hold his fear in check.

The creatures that were surrounding Jason turned their attention to Virgil and hissed at his challenge, before walking towards him. "Yeah I said it!" said Virgil. This provoked the creatures even more as their walking pace turned into a running pace. Feeling like a lump was in his throat, Virgil took a gulp before putting his hands down. "Damn.. Me and my big mouth.. AHHHHHHH!!!" shouted Virgil before running off. Running as fast as he could, Virgil spotted another group of creatures. Hoping to outsmart them, Virgil ran towards one of the creatures in the next group and did a leap frog over the creature's head. After landing, Virgil stumbled over a body and fell to the ground.

Crawling around for a moment, Virgil noticed the clothing and the face. It was Taregan that he had tripped over. Virgil got up to his feet and grabbed her wrist, trying to get her up to her feet. "On ya feet girl, we gotta get outta here! No time for Crane unless Crane has some good running shoes!" said Virgil, who was still struggling to get Taregan up to her feet. Soon the creatures would spew out a thick, white, gooey substance from their mouths covering both Virgil and Taregan up in a cocoon like form. The same would also happen to Ken, Jason, and Emily. It seemed like this would be the end for our heroes.. But suddenly out of nowhere a glowing golden flash of light came from each of the teens' chest, breaking them out of their cocoons and vanishing them from the site of danger.

The 5 selected teens would now find themselves disoriented, with each of them lying down within a jungle temple. The refreshing sound and smell of the small waterfall had awaken Virgil as he opened his eyes only to see the same Ape that saved him looking him right in the face. Fear trembling his heart, Virgil gave a quick scream and backed up from the Ape. "Relax Virgil.." said Saru, who calmly made his way over to Virgil. Virgil continued to back away from the Ape. "Hey man, stay back.. I'm a teen backed in a corner.. Don't push me, man!" shouted Virgil. Saru stopped and just stood there, respecting Virgil's wishes. "Man, I gotta get outta here.. I'm dreamin' right?!" Virgil asked himself while in a blur of confusion. He then pinched himself, only to feel the pain of his own action. "Ow! Alright.. I'm not dreamin'.. Ok am I trippin'?" Virgil asked to himself. Saru interfered with Virgil's thought for a brief moment to explain.

"No Virgil, you are not 'tripping'.. Virgil you along with these other teens have all been selected to become Warriors. Your planet is in great danger, which is why we brought you here to the Spirit Realm to teach you what you need to know so that you can accept the powers you possess. The power that allows you to become a Ninjetti Warrior." said Saru. Virgil scratched his head for a moment before replying back.

"Wanna run that by me again, King Kong.. A Ninja Spaghetti wha..?" asked Virgil. Saru laughed a bit at Virgil's confusion before speaking again.

"Ninjetti.. It means man and animal working together as one. I am Saru.. Leader of the Ninjetti clan and mentor to you young Virgil. With my aid and wisdom you will become a great leader to your teammates. " said Saru.

"Leader?! I can barely get the dudes at the Youth Center to listen to me.. Look man.. I don't know if this is cut out for me.." said Virgil, standing up to his feet.

"But it is.. Virgil.. You have been chosen to be the leader of this team long before you or any of your teammates encountered what you've encountered today. I have spent my time with you during most of you life as well as the rest of my clan with their hosts. We've just been lying dormant within you until the evil spirits were released.." said Saru.

"Evil spirits?.." asked Virgil with uncertainty in his voice.

"Oh yes.. Those creatures you encountered a few moments ago.. Those came from the work of a evil spirit.. One who's goal is to take over and destroy the Earth. That is why it is up to my friends and all of you to stop her." said Saru, hoping that Virgil and the others would accept their duties as Ninjetti Warriors.

Just as Jason was getting ready to fight the rest of those creatures Virgil yelled at them saying "Ey!!! You wanna fight?! Huh?!! Come get some!" . Just then the Creatures that were around him started to move towards Virgil. Jason then clamed down a little bit and started to walk away. As soon as he had done that One on the Creatures flew up in the air and kicked Jason in the back Jason flew acorss the way and he is out for the count.

The sound of a bird in the Jungle had awaken Jason. He hopped up and got a hold of his back. Some how the kick was storng enough to give him a full black out. He eyes where not back yet and he just stood there. He knew he wasent in the park no more. He heard a waterfall and smelt fresh air" no i know i am not in Angel Grove any more with this fresh smell". Just as he had said that his eyes sight started to come back. Once they where back to normal Jason flew back and saw that he was in a temple like place. " Where am..... I?".

" You're........... In...........The........Jungle........Temple...... ....My........Boy.......". The same Frog that Jason saw earlyer was hopping and talking at the same time. Jason just nodded up and down was as the Frog went up and down. Jason was a tad bit scared. He turned at attention away from the freaky Frog and saw Virgil talking to the big ape." What is going on?". Just the the Frog started to hop again in Jason's face " You....... And...... The......Rest.....Of...these.....teen...... deliquents....where.....the" Then he hopped on the ledge becuase he got tired of hopping and finished his staement "Choosen one to become the saviors of this world".

" Saviors of what world!?!" said Jason looking scared and confident at the same time. He knew that he could feel safe with this Frog around " and who are you?". Said Jason adding on. " I am Greyson your animal spirit that will guide you on this Journey. And the world you speak of is your Earth. Those Creatures that was attacking you and some other where evil spirits. They will continue to attck as long as the evil overlord is still alive". Jason as on the ledge with the Frog in confusement.

Ken Godai

Ken managed to hold well by simply ducking and running, but their numbers began to grow more and more, reducing his places to run. Perhaps he should've run away from the park instead of around it. He saw that two girls were also involved in this situation, fighting against these monsters with little success. Eventually, Ken saw that Virgil and the girl he was standing close to were trapped by these monsters, being bound by the goop that these monsters were spewing from their mouths. "Virgil!" Ken's distracted mind got the best of him when he felt something hit his arm. He saw that the same substance was covering his right arm, followed by more of the stuff, eventually Ken found himself being trapped in a cocoon of this webbing-like material. From there, everything went black.

Ken then felt something strange. Something cold was pressed against his cheek while something warm was breezing over. He slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by a canine's face directly in front of him. "WHOA!!" Ken backed away from the wolf, getting as far as his arms could move him. "You....you're that wolf from the park."

"Well, took you long enough kid." The wolf spoke. Ken didn't even care that this wolf was talking with a bad attitude, he was surprised that he was talking at all.

"Where am I?" Ken asked, looking around. "How did I get here? What about those monsters?"

"What the hell is this? 20 questions?" the wolf asked, impatiently. "LEt me just get my part out. My name is Fang, I'm your animal spirit. Although I find it hard to believe that I had to be watching over you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Shut up and let me talk." Fang huffed. "I was able to get you out of the tight spot you were in and brought you here, into the Spirit World. Those monsters that attacked you are planning to do more than just hurt you guys, they want to take over your planet. For that, you're gonna need my power and guidance to fight them."

Fight these monsters? Ken's not the fighting type, what hope did he have to fight these monsters and save Earth? Ken still needed time to take all this in.

Sparrow Moore

[ 5 minutes before the first attacks in the park]

Sparrow sat looking at herself in the mirror. She ran her hands through her dyed honey-blonde hair and sighed. She had been trying to complete a project for art class that involved her outlook on herself, but she was having trouble coming up with a complete concept. She sighed again as she turned towards her project. Picking up a paintbrush she began to slowly work at the canvas. There was plenty of privacy so, she knew she would not be disturbed. She actually liked her new room, having moved into the attic in order to free up space for her little brothers and sister downstairs on the second floor; but there were still certain times in which all seemed too creepy. Suddenly Sparrow found herself shivering as if the wind had picked up within the room, making her extremely uncomfortable. Last time she checked however, the window had been closed and the central air system was maintaining the house at a comfortable temperature. Still it wouldn’t hurt to check. Sparrow rose from in front of her canvas and walked over to the triple-pane window at the opposite end of the room. Sure enough it was somehow open, just a smidge; nothing BUT the wind could creep through. She started on her way back to the canvas, but quickly reversed her steps when she thought she saw someone else’s reflection in the mirror. “Is someone there?” Sparrow asked, hoping for no answer. Thankfully one didn’t come.

‘Sparrow.’ A voice crept through the room until it met her ears. She quickly turned around and searched the room, when se found no one se headed towards the door, and swung it open then quickly shut it again. No one. Then she ran over to the window, a stupid gesture on her part because she was on the third floor. And yet still no one. ‘Sparrow.’ Alarmed Sparrow looked around once more. “Look I don’t know what kind of games are being played, but they need to stop!” She yelled into the empty room. Still there was no answer, but instead of sticking around the room, Sparrow quickly gathered her art supplies and headed for the door. Her hand had barely graced the knob when the voice started again. ‘Wait! I didn’t mean to startle you, but this is all very new to me.’ Sparrow immediately dropped her supplies and turned around, silently praying that everything occurring was in her mind. What she found brought tears of fear to her eyes. A ghost-like presence stood in front of her. ‘Don’t be alarmed. I will not harm you.’ Continued the womanish figure. ‘There isn’t much time, but if you find it in your heart to at least let me explain, I am more than positive that you will find trust in me.’ Sparrow started to protest, but something within her would not allow her to turn-tail and run like crazy. And besides, she figured that if things were too unbelievable she would wake herself up. But had she fallen asleep? “Okay, I’m listening.” Sparrow advised as she headed for the comfort of her bed.

“Ooof!” out of no where Crane felt someone tripping over her as if she wasn’t in enough pain as it was. She held her stomach wincing as she closed her eyes, but suddenly felt a hand around her wrist.

On ya feet girl, we gotta get outta here! No time for Crane unless Crane has some good running shoes!"

She tried getting up but was having a hard time breathing, but with Virgil’s help she was able to make it. But just as she did so one of the creatures shot out some nasty gook right at them. Covering and encasing them in a shell-like cocoon. As Crane slowly lost consciousness thinking this was it she was surprised that the only person in her mind was Virgil...

A moan escaped Crane’s throat as she began coming around, she could hear sounds of voices around her as she came too. Opening her eyes she closed them quickly upon the light that was around her before slowly opening them again. The sounds of the wind whistling through the surrounding tree’s hit Crane first before her sight became clear. Was she dead? Crane looked around spotting Virgil and... a big monkey. “oh god, where in the world am I?”

“You are in a safe place Taregan,” a soft voice said behind her. Crane turned quickly expecting to see a person, only to look down a little to see the bird again. Crane stared as the bird as it spoke again. “Please do not fear me Taregan, I am Greer, your guardian.” she said calmly taking a step forward only for Crane to stubble back..

“Keep the f@#* Away from me!” she shouted falling backwards, her chest and stomach were very sore and she was still having a slight problem with her breathing as it ached with every breath.

“It’s alright, please stay calm... you are injured, I do not want to hurt you, only to help you” Greer said in a loving, motherly voice. Crane looked at her shaking her own head quickly.

“No, nonono your not real, your a delustion that is made up from stress, heat and dehydration, thats all, and right now I must be in some sort of comma-like dream state. It had to be that jerk that ran into me, I must have simply got knocked down, hit the pavement and-”

“Taregan, you are very bright and I delight that you are trying to use your skills to understand the situation , but I am afraid you are trying to come up with a logic that is false.... This is real, I am real just as the creatures that attacked you in the park. Please my dear, you must listen to reason. for there is much to explain,”

Crane just looked at Greer and began to laugh, almost as if she had snapped. “Right... of coarse.” Standing she turned looking to see other’s with her as well as other animals who were also talking. “I have finally gone mental,” she murmered. Not saying another word she began walking towards the jungle. Greer squaked loudly chasing after her , running in front of her.

“Tare please-”

“The name is Crane understand, Crane! Like what you are, except you shouldn’t be talking! This is insane!”

“I know my child, but you can not leave here... you were brought here to-”

“I don’t care why I was brought here, if I’m not really dead I’m getting out of here and getting home one way or another,” she said angrily pushing past Greer.

“Nonono Taregan please stop!”

Emily Kellson:

Emily was able to get up but suddenly everything went black before her eyes. She reached out only to tough some weird sticky stuff. "Oh no!" she yelled out. What happened now? She struggled to get out and wasn’t finding a solution. As she was about to give up and start saying her goodbyes in her head, a weird light suddenly appeared and blocked her whole vision. As she was able to see again, she was no longer in the cocoon, or the park. "Where am I?" she asked. This day was just ridiculous. As she looked around she was with four other people, even recognizing the girl she had met earlier who had been seeing animals too.

As she turned her head she nearly screamed. A bear was sitting right in front of her, and it seemed ten times her size. "Ah!!" she said backing away. "Calm yourself," the bear said. It talked! She blinked and rubbed her eyes; okay someone most defiantly had slipped something into her coffee this morning. There was no way no how that this was real. The bear then spoke again, "I am Claw. You along with these other teens have all been selected to become Warriors. Your planet is in great danger, which is why we brought you here to the Spirit Realm to teach you what you need to know so that you can accept the powers you possess. The power that allows you to become a Ninjetti Warrior."

A warrior? What the? Why was she chosen? It was as if the bear had read her thoughts. "You were chosen because of your lively spirit, and you are not afraid to try new things and take chances. You also have a very soft heart if you allow others to see it." "Wow you hit it dead on." She quickly pinched herself and realized that this whole thing was really happening.

Meanwhile Frank, Cody and Jenson had reached the desert outside of Angel Grove. There was a somewhat hardened sand path straight through, so they wouldn't have to dig out the car every few yards. "We saw it out here somewhere." Frank said just as Jenson started to worry where they were headed. "Stop here, Code, I think it was here." Frank said. The car slowed down and stopped. The 3 guys got out of the car. "Seems like the winds have covered it. Code, get the shovel while I grab the map we made." The two teens went back into the car. Strange how helpful they were. Normally they would've forced Jenson to get the shovel out of the car...

Then Jenson realized it and turned around to the car real quick. Only to see the doors slam shut and the two crooks taking off in a hurry. He could hear them laughing...

Great... Now he was all alone in the middle of this endless heap of sand... Jenson wondered whether Cody and Frank had even realized the danger they put him in... Not that it mattered, no one would miss him... And even if they did, it wasn't like the police was going to look for an unregistered missing homeless person. Jenson let out a sigh.

‘Well, first of all let me begin with my name, Ibuki. I have come back, by that I mean I have fought hard to get back to a place where I once called home.’ She paused and started to move towards Sparrow, only to find that she scrambled backwards further onto her bed, so Ibuki stopped. “So what are you? Are you some type of spirit or something?” Sparrow questioned as she sat with her back against the wall. ‘That is a little complicated.’ Ibuki began as she seemingly moved around the room trying to gather her thoughts. “Well try me.” Sparrow retorted. ‘My, aren’t you a curious one. I am an Oni…well at least I am now.’ Sparrow perked up, immediately showing interest. “An Oni, what is that? And what do you mean by you’re an Oni now?” ‘What I mean is,’ Ibuki began. ‘I was once a human, fighting alongside those who believed in justice and peace, but somehow I became tangled in a web of lies, and ended up banished into the spirit world, where it was either pretend as if you were corrupted by the evil souls or be corrupted. The Oni, in laments terms are those group of spirits who have returned to Earth for one reason of another. And as you and the people of this planet will learn- that reason is not a good one.’ Sparrow sat confused for a couple of minutes, not able to comprehend what was being said to her, or even what she was witnessing with her own eyes. Ibuki watched in silence as Sparrow tried to come to terms with her explanation, even noticing when Sparrow tried to pinch herself in hopes of waking up from what probably seemed like a nightmare. “Okay, even if I believed you about being human before, banished to a world of evil sprits and whatnot, why are you here? And more importantly why are you here with me?” ’Well, now that’s simple. I see potential in you and I believe that you can help me while at the same time helping your world.’ Shocked, Sparrow sprung from her bed. "Me? What do you think I can do?"

Just as Virgil was about to make on of the biggest decisions of his life, he was stopped by the storming of Crane as she walked out, away from everyone else. Virgil knew what responsibility he had at hand and he knew that if he was chosen to do something, he was going to have to accept it and move on with or without everyone else. But Taregan.. Taregan was different in Virgil's eyes much different. Its almost as if the two were the same but at the same time so different. Even though what Crane had said to him earlier in the day hurt him a bit, Virgil wasn't going to do the thing that Crane has been making a habit of doing.. Which was escaping from the facts. Virgil looked to Saru and the ape back to the young teen that stood before him. Saru nodded his head as he shared the same thoughts and emotion with Virgil about his friend.. Saru would do the same for any of his friends if they were in the same situation. Virgil got up to his feet and ran after Crane. Amongst the dense, mysterious jungle known as the Spirit Realm, Virgil would finally catch up to Crane, grabbing her by the shoulder.

"Hey, where do you think you're goin'? What? You think you're just gonna run out on this too?" asked Virgil, looking to Crane, hoping that Taregan would regain herself. Virgil then looked around the jungle before he would continue. "Look.. I know you're not up to being who you once were before Tare.. And I'm not gonna stand in your way.. But what I'm not gonna let you do is walk out on this. This is bigger than your past, my past, or anybody elses past that's here. You saw those things and you've seen what they can do.. We got a chance to nail em.. But a four can't do it alone.. If they could then they would have just asked me and the other three and left you there to die. Instead they pulled us out of harm's way so that we can be the ones that stops these things.. Tare.. Listen, if we don't stop em, there ain't gonna be a future to see.. Think about your family.. Friends.. C'mon we have to do this.. We ain't got much of a choice.. So get yourself in gear! Cause I'm not letting you turn your back on this and I'm damn sure not about to risk seeing my family, friends, and you die because you didn't make the right choice." said Virgil with a firm tone in his voice. Virgil was really sincere to what he was saying to Crane. Not just because he cared for her, but also because of the fact that he knew what was at stake. Sounds of leaves being crumpled sounded on the jungle floor as Saru made his way behind Virgil along with Greer landing right beside Crane. Virgil stood there like a rock, with an anxious look on his face. He turned to Saru and looked to him.

"I accept the task and responsibilities of being a Ninjetti Warrior. Guide me, Saru.." said Virgil, making an example of his potent leadership while also trying to get Crane to make the same choice.

"You know what you gotta do.. Do what's right, Tare.. Don't front on me.. Don't walk out on me again.." said Virgil, looking to Taregan with concern.

“Why is this happening to me, why?” she questioned into the strange unknown jungle. Crane knew that going off alone was stupid and reckless, but she couldn’t stay there with a crazy talking bird that seemed to be like a mirror of her old self. She was thinking that this could still just be a very intense and whacked out dream, but she knew it wasn’t and that was what scared the crap out of her. Stopping she looked around the forest, she felt so alone, just as she did when she moved to Chicago, only this was if she turned back she’d at least be with Virgil... But why did that matter to her?

Crane suddenly heard something coming her way, it was in that moment she realized there could be some really nasty creatures out there, the kind that don’t talk and have sharp teeth. A gasp came from her as she felt a hand grasp her shoulder, but then it was followed by a sigh of relief as she turned to see who it was. “Damn it Virgil, you scared the crap outta me,” she said with a frown.

"Hey, where do you think you're goin'? What? You think you're just gonna run out on this too?"

Crane glared at him as his question had hit a nerve. “Don’t try to act like you know me Virg, you might think that kicking it with talking animals and strangers is cool, but not me, that is not my scene so step off,” she said harshly but was surprised when he didn’t back down.


"Look.. I know you're not up to being who you once were before Tare.. And I'm not gonna stand in your way.. But what I'm not gonna let you do is walk out on this. She stared at Virgil a moment as she took in everything he had said. He did have a point, several in fact and in that moment Crane actually for the first time in a long while felt wanted, and needed. She wasn’t sure how to react and a part of her, the child inside wanted to just cry and tell him that she was so scared, but there was no way she would give into that. But she couldn’t deny the logic behind his words and it made her really think on what she was going to do.

She was about to say something when she paused seeing the big ape walking up behind Virgil, she took a step back and then saw Greer landing next to her. She wasn’t sure if she was ready to deal with whatever was going on, because it sounded like it was going to be bad, but she wasn’t going to run this time. She looked at Virg a moment as he told the big monkey he was accepting some Warrior thing which didn’t sound very wonderful, but in her mind if Virgil could do it, so could she.

Turning to Greer she cleared her throat a bit, “Listen, Virg tells me that... you guys are who I need to thank for saving our @$$es out there, so I’m listening... What is all this about?”

Greer sighed with relief and nodded to Virgil as a thank you before she began explaining.

Once done Crane was a bit dumbfounded, this was like some kind of fiction tv shows, except a bit more scary. She frowned a bit shaking her head, “there is no way I-” she looked at Virgil, their eyes locking as he walked up to her.

"You know what you gotta do.. Do what's right, Tare.. Don't front on me.. Don't walk out on me again.."

She swallowed, questions and scenarios running through her mind, But she took a deep breath, “do I really have a choice in the matter,” she said a little bitterly as she turned her head, “Fine, I’ll do it...” she then glared at Virgil, “And if I wind up dead anyway, my blood is on your hands.” she said coldly as she began walking back to where the other’s were angry.

"Well, what's it gonna be?" Fang asked, impatiently. "I'm gonna need an answer."

Ken needed to think this over, but Fang wasn't making it that easy. His constant growling and piercing eyes that were staring at him made him feel a little on edge. "Can't I have some time to think this over?"

"No, you don't have any freakin' time to think this over." Fang roared. "Give me a goddamn answer now."

"Jesus, do you punch everyone with that mouth?" Ken asked.

"Well, I can say for sure that I punch better than you can."

Ok, now Fang was going to insult him. Clearly he was a rather unpleasant animal. So much for Ken always wanting a dog when he was kid, Fang's attitude made him realize that maybe a canine was never a good idea. "You really got some anger issues to work out."

Fang then hunched while baring his teeth. "You're the bigger issue here, and I'm more than happy to deal with you!"

"YAH!!" Ken quickly backed away from Fang. "Ok,ok. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Ken breathed heavily. "Alright, if you're willing to help me, then I'll accept. I'll take that power."

Jason and Greyson was talking for a good mintue. IT seemed that they were getting along. Jason smiled when he tought about it " am i really talking to a stupid Frog". Then the Frog jumped on his shoulder and said " I am not stupid i am just a Frog."Jason didnt know that Greyson could read his mind " hey how did you...... Oh never mind what is your name again i didnt quite catch that?"Jason said putting the Frog back on the ledge where they both sat at.

Then Greyson spoke and said " i am Greyson your animal spirit. But i need to know your answer as far as saving the world?". Jason closed his eyes as he thought about the saving the world thing.

How shameful it was for Jense to be here now, having being defeated by his own foes. It had been a few hours since he was dumped. The burning sun was frying his brain. He could swear he heard engine sounds, but his mind had tricked him that exact way a dozen of times now...

Strangely the engine sounds were getting louder, as if there WAS a car approaching. This was new. Suddenly, over the top of the hill ahead, a SUV jumped. A white Hummer, a bit flashy. Jenson started waving as energetically as he could.

Carl Rendell was on his way to the Command Center. He hadn't been to Angel Grove for quite some time, which was why he wanted to breath in some nostalgia and go to the place he had saved the world from so many times. His Hummer seemed to enjoy the terrain. He had gone off-road a few times and now he was just powering on, jumping over the dunes. Suddenly, after one of his smaller jumps, he saw a guy, smack-down middle of the desert. "What the fuck?!" Carl said. The guy seemed to be rather desperate for a ride. Carl braked. The car shot past the guy to come to a stand-still.

The car stopped. Jense saw a black man come out. He seemed vaguely familiar. Where did Jenson know this guy from? Jenson hardly knew anyone with a car. He should remember if he did. Wait, this was the guy that had been on posters sometimes when Jense was younger.

"What you doin' out here, man?" Carl asked walking up to the man. "Two guys back home pulled a joke on me." Jense replied. "Some joke." Carl said. "Need a ride outta here? Where you live?" Jenson was surprised he wasn't asked more questions. "Well, I come from Angel Grove." He said. "No shit? I was just headed there." Carl replied. "Through the desert?" Jenson asked suspectingly. "Hell yeah, through the desert. That's the most fun way to get there." Carl said, as he walked back to the car. "You comin'?" He asked. Jenson shrugged and got into the car.

Emily Kellson:

Emily was able to get up but suddenly everything went black before her eyes. She reached out only to tough some weird sticky stuff. "Oh no!" she yelled out. What happened now? She struggled to get out and wasn’t finding a solution. As she was about to give up and start saying her goodbyes in her head, a weird light suddenly appeared and blocked her whole vision. As she was able to see again, she was no longer in the cocoon, or the park. "Where am I?" she asked. This day was just ridiculous. As she looked around she was with four other people, even recognizing the girl she had met earlier who had been seeing animals too.

As she turned her head she nearly screamed. A bear was sitting right in front of her, and it seemed ten times her size. "Ah!!" she said backing away. "Calm yourself," the bear said. It talked! She blinked and rubbed her eyes; okay someone most defiantly had slipped something into her coffee this morning. There was no way no how that this was real. The bear then spoke again, "I am Claw. You along with these other teens have all been selected to become Warriors. Your planet is in great danger, which is why we brought you here to the Spirit Realm to teach you what you need to know so that you can accept the powers you possess. The power that allows you to become a Ninjetti Warrior."

A warrior? What the? Why was she chosen? It was as if the bear had read her thoughts. "You were chosen because of your lively spirit, and you are not afraid to try new things and take chances. You also have a very soft heart if you allow others to see it." "Wow you hit it dead on." She quickly pinched herself and realized that this whole thing was really happening.


Emily Kellson/Claw:


As she pinched herself, she quietly said 'Ow.' This couldnt be real, but it was. The bear who called herself Claw, blinked at her as if she was expecting Emily to say something. But the truth was, for once in her life Emily had nothing to say back. She looked around, the others were so wrapped up with their own animals and decisions, she was alone in this one. She looked back at Claw and looked down and thought for a minute. She had always wanted to do something bigger. So maybe this was her chance. The one thing she had been waiting for. After thinking she realized she was the last one who hadnt said in anything. She looked up at Claw and said, "Okay... I am in too." Claw nodded in agreement.

Emily was feeling a jumble of emotions right then. Happiness, scared, worried, frightened, excited. She didnt know how she was really feeling. Though deep inside she felt a feeling of approval. So maybe, she was doing something right.

Saru looked to Virgil, as Virgil himself looked on as Taregan made her way back to the monolith. Crane's last words would have frightened anyone else, but they didn't scare Virgil one bit because he knew that as long as he was living he would not let anything happen to Taregan. In fact all of his friends meant something to him and Virgil was not about to let some spirit or anyone else hurt them. "Is she always like this ,Virgil?" asked Saru, who was curious about Crane's attitude. Virgil exhaled followed by an exhausting sigh, before also making his way back to the monolith. "She didn't used to be like that.. But somewhere down the line, Taregan turned into the one girl wreckin' crew known as Crane. Hopefully she'll go back to the way she used to be. But right now you need to be explaining to us how this is all gonna work out for us.. I mean how are we going to fight without weapons or magic or something.." said Virgil as he stepped up on the monolith with Saru. The humble ape looked around at every one as Virgil would take a seat under a tree.

"I assume that you have all accepted the tasks of becoming a Ninjetti Warrior.. Now that the first phase is done, lets move on to the second. I want all of you to close your eyes.. And meditate.. Release your spirit and share it with your partner.. It is the only way that this will work. Once you and your partner have become one, you both will act as one.. Our ninja training, magic, and weapons will now belong to you.. We will share the same thoughts and memories.. We will be one. Are you all ready to do this? If so, begin to meditate and concentrate on becoming one with your partner." Saru instructed. Virgil looked over to Taregan and gave her a nod, indicating to trust in him and her partner. Virgil then closed his eyes and began to meditate. It was hard at first but soon Virgil was able to focus on his spirit and sharing it with Saru. Suddenly Saru disappeared and red streaks starting from the feet beaming upward, engulfing Virgil in a blinding light. Then as the light dies Virgil remains, but now clothed in red hooded garment. On his chest held golden crest of an ape, and there were gold diamond shaped patterns on his shins and forearms. Virgil opened his eyes and noticed his new attire.. He felt stronger, wiser, and more energetic than before. He looked at his Ninjetti clothing and touched the crest on his chest. "Now this is hot." said Virgil, who was really liking his new look.

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason

As she reached the monolith she folded her arms walking to a pillar away from the others, she didn’t know why she was doing this, she would have never done this before. She watched as Virgil came upon the Plato with them and at the moment a thought came to her head on exactly why she was. Quickly she shook her head to rid her self of the thought.

Her attention turned from Virg to his monkey friend as he began talking, but as he talked the more Taregan’s face nearly slid off, “What what? Bond?” she said looking at Virgil who merely nodded to her in a gest that it would be alright. She frowned as her eyes swept to Greer who was merely sitting there patiently. She then looked around at the other’s as they all seemed to be doing as the Ape instructed. Crane then turned back to Greer who was now closer, causing Crane to jump some.

“I’m sorry, I did not mean to frighten you dear.” she said gently, as she watched Crane.

“I can’t do this, no one said anything about ‘becoming one’ with anyone,” she said frowning,

“Crane, I know that this isn’t easy for you, but you do not have to fear what you do not fully understand, I am here to-”

“-I never said I was scared!” she growled at Greer, glancing over to see Virgil’s clothes had changed, she saw him admiring his new red outfit and shook her head, “how can he be so accepting,” he muttered as she turned away, walking off the monolith. Greer turned to Virgil and shook her head, telling him not to follow as she went after her.

Crane walked through the tree line as she hugged herself a bit, her eyes low as she then came across a cave, curiously she walked into it. It was a bit dim but further inside there was a whole in the top of the cave which let in a large ray of sunlight, filling it with enough light to see. Against the walls, Crane could see many drawings, as she slowly stopped she saw one that caught her eye. It was one of a crane that was behind a woman, they both looked as if they were in the air flying through the air.

“That could be us one day Crane,” Greer said walking up behind her, “If you will merely trust me.”

“I don’t trust anyone,” Crane said blankly as she continued to stare at the painting.

“I know that, and I also know why...” She said watching as Crane turned to look at her, “You maybe afraid to bond with me Crane, but the truth is we have been bonded together for a long time. You were chosen long before this day, and I have been watching you for a very long time.” she said watching her. “I watched as you were so happy living in Angel Grove, I watched when you were so sad but hopeful when you found out you were moving, and when you slowly lost hope. I watched as everyone you put trust in disappointed you time and time again, my heart broke as you cried every night, and still do...”

A tear fell from Crane’s eyes as she quickly wiped it away, “stop, please...” she said turning from Greer.

“I just want to be there for you, just as Virgil does, but if you push us away then you will never find that love you have missed so much”

“I learned a long time ago that I’m not going to have that,”

“but you can Crane, all I ask is that you give it a try, if we fail you then you are right and you can go your own way, I promise” Greer said as she came closer, “please, just try”

Crane looked down a moment, closing her eyes she concentrated, Greer doing the same as they seemed to connect almost instantly, a strange flow of energy and calmness flowed into Crane as she was engulfed in a pink aura, a swirl of light flowed around her and then died. opening her eyes Crane looked down upon herself, seeing the new dark pink outfit she was now clothed in. She said nothing as she lightly touched the crest on her chest of the crane and looked at Greer as she bowed her head to Crane and she smirked lightly.

Crane moved out of the cave and began making her way back, she felt a lot of energy surging through her as a smile crossed her face she took off into a run and leapt catching a tree branch, moving more swiftly than she ever had she moved through the trees to the monolith jumping down and landing with a smirk on her

With things settled between Ken and Fang, the wolf led Ken to where the others were, gathering under one large tree. Ken realized that the others also had an animal companion; an ape, a crane, a frog, and a bear. "Are they all also gonna be Ninjetti Warriors?" Ken asked.

"Yeah, all of them." Fang answered. "Come on, join the others." Fang led Ken further to the tree. Ken joined the other four, sitting down under the tree.

Fang joined in with the other animals to instruct their respective human partners. Saru was the one to speak to them all, instructing them on to do next.

"I assume that you have all accepted the tasks of becoming a Ninjetti Warrior.. Now that the first phase is done, lets move on to the second. I want all of you to close your eyes.. And meditate.. Release your spirit and share it with your partner.. It is the only way that this will work. Once you and your partner have become one, you both will act as one.. Our ninja training, magic, and weapons will now belong to you.. We will share the same thoughts and memories.. We will be one. Are you all ready to do this? Ken closed his eyes, doing as told. He concentrated hard on his spirit; he imagined this spirit to be a floating wisp of smoke that traveled from his body and traveled to Fang. Fang then began to fade from view, turning transparent as he merged with Ken's body. As soon as the last bit of Fang disappeared, Ken's body began to glow in a bright light. When the light faded, Ken found himself in a blue uniform, with a gold crest of a wolf on his chest. Ken got to his feet to examine his body, looking at his feet, and his arms. Clenching his fists, he felt different, he felt stronger. "This is amazing. I feel so powerful.

Jason was sitting there in a daze the whole tyme. The Frog hopped up and slapped him with his feet " Ouch! man that Hurt!". The frog said " Focus my boy it is not time to recive the power are you ready?". Jason thought about it hard and thought to him self " i guess there is not turning back now".

Jason got up from the ledge and said " i guess man what the first step?".

Jason closed his eyes and started to fill one with his Frog. Just then a dark purple light fillied Jason and he and the Frog became one. Just then A black Ninjetti out fit appeared on him. Jason opened his eyes and said " Whoa! this is sweet!". He did a rick kick and looked at the frog which was placed in the center of his chest.

Emily looked over at the big bear in front of her, when the giant ape said something about becoming one, she couldnt help but wonder if that would involve her looking like a bear. She watched at everyone went before and gave sigh of releif. "Okay good, no fur," she mumbled to herself. She then did what she was told. She closed her eyes and let go of all thoughts and just focused on one thing. She then felt something, something strong, something full of power. She opened her and looked down at hersefl. "Wow," was all that she could say. She was wearing a yellow ninja outfit and had a cresent of the Bear on her chest. Plus, she did feel a little different, but in a good way.

Sparrow grew more intrigued by Ibuki’s words with every passing minute. Here she was, a normal girl with the potential to do something better- potentially life saving for everyone on the planet; if what Ibuki was telling her turned out to be the truth. Yet from time to time she still believed that all of this could be an elaborate hoax. “Umm…Ibuki, is it?” Ibuki shook her head in confirmation. “If I believed you, and I’m not saying I do, what could I do. I mean I’m not government affiliated and if I walked into any kind of agency and explained to them this story, not only would they laugh at me, they would probably try to put me in some type of mental asylum.” ‘What I need from you Sparrow, is not your voice heard to the people of this dear planet, but your permission to use your body on occasion to help infiltrate the Oni system and take them down; One by one!’ Sparrow gagged at the words, momentarily losing her breath and her mind. “What!-” She shot up from the bed and ran towards the window, opening it in order to gain fresher air. “Um, I don’t know. Could I die like that? Better yet could I lose control over my entire body and you not give it back?…What happens then?” Sparrow began, barraging Ibuki with questions, in return she looked confused and a little nervous. 'Slow down.' Ibuki said motioning for Sparrow away from the window and take her place back on the bed. 'Sparrow, not to scare you or anything, but believe me when I say, if I wanted to take control of your body I would already be inside of you. But I am trusting and need you to trust me. I will only take hold of you if you allow me the ability. At any given moment if you feel mislead, you can expel me. But trust, once you see that I am here for the greater good, you will want to see and be a part of more, way more.' Sparrow sat on the words for a few minutes before she responded. “I- I’m in.” She announced finally. Ibuki nodded her head, carrying a slight grin on her face. Then se stopped suddenly in her tracks, her demeanor became more urgent. “What is it?” Sparrow asked puzzled. ‘Trouble. Being a member of the Oni clan, I can sense their presence, but not an exact location. We must hurry. In order for me to actively take over your body, you must concentrate and allow a portal; for lack of a better term, form in your mind. It is through that that I will enter. Once inside, you will be fully aware of your surroundings but will not have control of your body.” Sparrow sighed, and took a longer pause than before, half contemplating whether she wanted to be paralyzed in her own body by her own will. In thought she found that releasing her mind was easier than anticipated and when she came around, she couldn’t move any muscles. ’This is crazy. What if this fool, gets killed in my body? Will I die too?’ Sparrow asked herself as her vision blurred and when it cleared she was no longer looking at the inside of her bedroom, but the vastness of a desert. ’Were are we, and how did we get here?’ Hoping that Ibuki could hear her, he questioned. “Some part of Angel Grove desert. I tracked the Oni to here. But were he is, I couldn’t tell you.”

Now that everyone has accepted the responsibilities of becoming Ninjetti Warriors, it was time to for the ultimate test of these five young teens.. They would now have to face not only their fears, but also every Oni that threatens to destroy the Earth. Virgil began walking across the monolith to a fountain that was flowing the cleanest and most beautiful water he had ever seen. Upon the reflection that the fountain was showing was Virgil's face, but as Virgil looked to the side of his face he would see Saru's half of his face. "Ahh!" Virgil shouted before he splashed the water, rippling the reflection he saw in the water. He then began to rub his own face only to find out that it was normal. "When you see yourself in a reflection, Virgil, you see me as well.. That is how we can communicate when we aren't as one. Now, gather everyone up.. Its time for your first trial.." said Saru.

"Trial? Whoa buddy you didn't say anything about judges and jails.." replied Virgil who was a bit frightened. Saru laughed a bit at Virgil before explaining to him what he meant. "Trial as in test.. Your test as a team.. You all must defeat Keres the Spider Oni.."said Saru. Virgil nodded his head and walked across the monolith before the others. "Now what?" Virgil asked to Saru. "Allow me.." said Saru. Suddenly Virgil's eyes began to glow red as his body began to change slightly into an ape-like appearance.. The attire Virgil was wearing was still on but now it wasn't Virgil's physical appearance now, it was Saru's. A tail lingered around Saru's back as he looked towards the others, who were probably frightened by this, hinting that Saru had better act fast.

"Do not be alarmed.. This is another form you can have with you Ninjetti clan mate.. Its called 'Spirit Shifting'. This ability allows your Ninjetti counterpart to trade places with you physically. I prefer you not to try it now.. It it best to be used when you are under extreme conditions, such as being hurt or fatigued while in battle. I have switched places with Virgil to teach you yet another technique.. Called 'Earth Jumping' but in your day I think you all call it, teleporting.. All you need to do, to do this is to, close your eyes and focus on a destination. Once opening your eyes, you will be at your destination. I need everyone to focus on the Angel Grove Park.. Because that's where we are headed. Do not worry about you fighting skill.. If you have confidence in yourself and us, you will do just fine. Now we focus..." said Saru, before closing his own eyes, doing the same technique he had just taught the rest of the Ninjetti Warriors. When he opened his eyes, it was Virgil's eyes opening back up again with Virgil's body being normal again.

"It worked?! Were in Angel Grove Park?!?" asked Virgil in his mind to Saru with his face cloaked by his ninja mask. "Earth Jumping is an ancient technique, taught to us by the great Ninjor himself.." replied Saru.. "Ninjor??? Isn't that a G.I. Joe or Masters of the Universe character?" asked Virgil to Saru. "G.I. Joe???? Masters of the Universe??? What are these things you refer the great Ninjor to? None of that matters now.. Its time to defeat the Spider Oni, Keres.. Are you ready?" asked Saru to Virgil. Virgil did a few swift kicks to the air and struck a fighting pose.. "Whoa.. I couldn't do that before.. Heck yea I'm ready!!! I wonder what else I can do?" replied Virgil.

The big SUV was plowing through the desert. Jenson had to admit this was rather fun, though he prayed they wouldn't get stuck out here. He shouldn't moan though, at least he was getting out of this damned place.

Carl maneuvered the Hummer over yet another dune, a big one. As they jumped over the top, the sunlight, amplified by the hood, blinded Carl and his passenger. Suddenly they both heard a loud thump. As the car landed, they saw a humanoid... thing on the bonnet. "What the hell?" Carl exclaimed. Jenson was shocked out of words. The creature looked like a giant scorpion-like human, with a tail coming from his behind and wrapped around his own right arm to form a kind of stinger-like fistweapon. It made a weird, mechanical sound. It seemed to have purposefully landed on the car, rather than been hit by it. Carl floored it.

Carl continued to race through the desert, trying to shake and jump the creature off of the hood, but it seemed to have clawed itself into the metalwork. "What now?" Jenson asked, slightly shaken. He had retaken some of his cool, but the situation seemed hopeless. Carl seemed to be thinking. "Fuck, I guess there's no choice." Carl said in the end, Jenson was left confused. "I'm gonna take us to the only place I feel might give us the edge." He explained, but he didn't seem to happy about it.

Carl drove up on a giant slope, in a more rocky part of the desert. The car shot up the hill, but was losing speed as the wheels spinned pointlessly in the loose golden sand. "Shit!" Carl shouted, angry at his car. "We need to leg the last bit." He said, and stepped out of the car. Jenson followed his example. The creature immediately engaged combat.

She had to step back as suddenly the kid in red turned into the Ape that was once before standing before him, but she was told with the others not to be alarm and that she could do it with her spirit too. She thought to herself, "This is goanna be interesting." Though she was told not to do it, so she would have to experience it another time. Now this was going to be cool, all these things they were learning, she wished that this happened years ago. She closed her eyes and began to focuse to their destination. After a moment she felt something. She quickly opened her eyes and smiled. "It worked," she said confidently.

Ken listened to Saru instructing the team in their trial of defeating those monsters from earlier. "Well, how do even get there? We don't even know where we are now."

Ken and the others then saw Virgil taking on the form of an ape. Ken backed away slightly, not really afraid, but surprised.

All you need to do, to do this is to, close your eyes and focus on a destination. Once opening your eyes, you will be at your destination. I need everyone to focus on the Angel Grove Park.. Because that's where we are headed. Do not worry about you fighting skill.. If you have confidence in yourself and us, you will do just fine. Now we focus..."

"Spirit Shifting? Earth Jumping? This really does sound ninja." Ken said. Since their goal was to return to Angel Grove, Ken did as Saru instructed. He closed his eyes and focused back to where he last stood, the park just outside the juice bar. When he opened his eyes, he was standing back in the open field, with the monsters wandering around, looking for them. "Alright, it worked."

"Celebrate that later, deal with the Oni!" Fang shouted from inside his head. Seeing Virgil already getting into the action, Ken followed suit. He charged at the closest Oni and jumped to deliver a flying side kick. But once he made contact, he fell down to the ground with the Oni staggering back. "Ow....what the hell?" Ken quickly got back up and backed away. "Ok, let's try something a little easier." He charged at the Oni and punched it. Again, things didn't go his way, the punches seemed to hurt himself more than it hurt the Oni. "What's going on? Fang, why am I not hurting them?"

"I don't know!" Fang shouted. "There must be something wrong with our connection. Keep fighting, I'll see what I can do." Ken swung his leg for a kick, but with the speed he was kicking, the Oni dodged it easily and delivered a strike of its own. Ken fell back, and he fell back hard. "This is getting us nowhere. Looks like I'm gonna have to do things my way."

"Your way?" Ken asked. "How?"

"Just shut up and move over!" Suddenly, Ken found himself no longer in control of his body. His body began to move on its own, getting up to his feet and looking towards the Oni. Ken's control was limited, he was able to look at himself briefly, but found that nothing's changed. He didn't perform the Spirit Shifting, so why is he not in control of his own body? "Fang what are you doing?"

"Clearly, you're too weak to fight even when I offer my power. I'm gonna have to control your body in order to give you the full potential of my strength." With Fang in control, all Ken could do was simply watch things unfold from here.He reared his head back and roared once before striking the Oni with a powerful punch to the face, sending him flying back. "Oh yeah, now we're talking! Just sit back and enjoy the ride kid."

Taregan 'Crane' Mason - The pink ninjetti ranger

Crane walked toward the center of the Plato, her eyes fixed on the horizon for a moment as she thought to herself. But those thoughts were interrupted as she heard Virgil shout in surprise. She looked up quickly alerted, but relaxed as she heard Saru speak to him. Hearing him she swiftly moved to the fountain and peeked in it herself, and sure enough there she saw half her face and half Greer’s. “Great, well this should make it fun putting on makeup now,” she muttered as she looked back to Virgil, only to see him look like a big ape. “What the H*ll!? What is this? Animorphs?!” Crane hissed trying not show how alarmed she was. Crane calmed a little as Saru began to explain, but she frowned looking to Greer, “you try that and I will be having deep fried Crane for dinner,” she said frowning, but Greer only giggled lightly, “Do not worry Crane, I know you well enough not to do such without your approval”


Crane groaned a little as she looked back to Saru as he spoke of teleporting, frowning, “this is nuts” she murmured as she could suddenly hear Greer in her mind telling her it was alright, and for some strange reason that calmed Crane a little as she closed her eyes and began to concentrate. As she heard Virgil she opened her eyes to see that they were in the park, “heh, guess the monkey was right” she said with a smirk before she looked around at the others who were there. She suddenly realized that aside from Virgil, she didn't know any of these people and she was expected to work with them? To save the world? Backing away a little she was beginning to wonder if she had got in over her head, how did she let herself get talked into this?

Crane slowly began slipping away from the group, this was her chance to take off, she was back know, they couldn't hold her against her will. Crane turned away and thought a moment about what Virgil said to her and she debated on what to do

Virgil Kealoha Jr./Keres the Spider Oni

Soon after the Warriors had appeared at Angel Grove park, Keres would waste no time launching her attack at the 5 new warriors. "Pathetic humanssss.. Do you honestly think that the Ninjetti powers can stop me?!!!" hissed Keres as she leaped down from a tree, summoning her Spiderling servants to her side. Keres breathed heavily before spraying out a deadly acid at a rock. The acid completely ate through the rock, showing the Warriors, what could be of them if they dare oppose her. Keres then let out an evil laugh before raising her arm up at the Warriors and pointing her finger at them. "Destroy them my children... Destroy them all!!! I want their souls for dinner!" ordered Keres to her Spiderlings. The creatures all launched themselves into battle and began attacking the Warriors. Virgil didn't know what to do at this point, but back away from the incoming Spiderlings that were coming his way. "Uhh, Saru.. I'm kinda havin' second thoughts about this whole Ninjetti Warrior thing.. Saying yes to you wasn't that hard because I didn't have some crazy spider things running at me!" barked Virgil, who was in fear at the time.

Saru could feel Virgil's fear within his spirit, but he didn't allow the young man to succumb in it. "Fight them and trust that with this power, anything can happen." said Saru. Virgil nodded his head and got into a fighting stance that wasn't like his own. Just as the Spiderlings were about to attack Virgil, the Red Ninjetti Warrior, leaped high into the air and came down wrapping his legs around the Spiderling's neck. Virgil then twisted his hips and sent the Spiderling crashing to the ground from the throw. Nipping back up to his feet, Virgil reached down to his side and pulled out three shuriken and threw them at the Spiderlings ahead of him. The Spiderlings fell to the ground in pain as the shurikens made contact. "Bullseye!" shouted Virgil as he watched what he had done. Suddenly a Spiderling appears behind Virgil, but the unsuspected teen was warned by his mentor, Saru. Virgil stretched his leg out, sidekicking the creature in his gut before disappearing.

When the Spiderling looked to see where his enemy had went, he would be informed by Virgil himself of his whereabouts. "Hey web-head, up here!" said Virgil, who had appeared in a tree. Virgil then leaped down, out of the tree and onto the Spiderling's back. The Spiderling fought hard to get Virgil off of his back, but the Red Ninjetti Warrior was too tricky for it. Then out of nowhere another Red Ninjetti Warrior kicked the Spiderling hard across the face, sending it flipping to the ground with Virgil leaping off of its back before it fell. Virgil then looked at his clone and began to give it a hip handshake that only Virgil and his friends knew. "Now that's what I call a double team." said Virgil to his clone.

Jason was some how transported to Angel Grove Park " Oh no i thought i would have time to explain this to him!" said Greyson seeing the scene that was happening in front of them.

" Whats going on?!" said Jason scared " Don't worry hurry come behind this tree this should buy me some time!". Then Greyson hopped over to a big oak tree alongside with Jason and he began to talk. Jason was pretty calm about this whole thing. Just then a Spiderling found them and began attacking " Help Greyson!". Jason kicked the Spiderling and he began running " Don't be alarmed young one i am with you trust the power!". Jason turned around and saw 5 of those monster running after him. Jason focus on his deep power and he teleported to the jungle gym. " over here creeps!..

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason- The pink Ninjetti Ranger

Cran turned quickly as she heard the Oni’s voice, her eyes going a bit wide as she took a step back in surprise. Che watched as the creatures from before appeared around the she-monster. As the Spider-Oni reduced a bolder to a pebble she hissed silently and then watched as the ‘Spiderlings’ went at them. Crane’s eyes locked on the one that came at her first, but fear was not in her eyes, but anger... She was pissed.

As the creature made it’s first swing everything seemed to slow in Crane’s mind, and everything she had to do was clear, but she wasn’t sure if she could do it.

“Do not hesitate my dear, Believe and you will...” Greer’s voice rang in Crane’s mind as she looked to the creature. Her words settling as she nodded and ducked just as the spidering was going to strike. With a quick movement she dived downward onto the ground upon her hands, bringing up her feet she kicked the creature hard in the face, causing it to fumble back in surprise. Before he could regain his ground, Crane cart wheeled and kicked him square in the chest, knocking him to the ground. In one fluid motioned She jumped, twisting her body and kicked another creature back, landing on her feet with ease. “Whoa, this is sick,” she laughed as she ran at two spiderlings and jumped into a full split, kicking the two as she was in the air, tumbling into a crouching postion. As she looked up she found herself quickly surrounded and the spiderlings tried to bum-rush her, all of them attacking at once she ducked down. But as the creatures cleared she seemed to had vanished, that was onto one of the spiderlings began attacking the rest, delivering a serise of blows that took them out. Taking a few steps at her handy work Crane transformed back into her normal form. “Heh I could find some use for that trick”

Emily Kellson:

Emily turned around from where she was facing as creepy looking creatures started head for them and attack. She ran the other way running for her life. "This is not what I had in mind when I accepted!" she cried out. Claw overheard her and said to her, "Calm yourself, you can do this." "Umm no I can't I dont think so. No way no how. This is ridiculous." She couldnt stop rambling as she climbed up a tree, not realizing she was able to do that because of her new found powers. Claw raised her voice at her a little and said, "Emily you can do this. You are not like this at all, it's your fear talking. Reach within yourself and find that young woman who I saw." Emily wasn't sure what she meant, but she did what she was told. She remembered she was a girl with atttitude, drama was one of her things in life she kinda enjoyed and she felt herslef being filled with some kind of energy.

She drew up some more courage and finally jumped out of the tree. Some of the creatures turned to her and began to attack her, she defended herself and fought back. She could feel the adrenaline running through her, and she was no longer afraid and kept fighting.

With Fang in control, Ken could feel the increase in strength. Each strike he landed on the Oni, he felt the power he unleashed. Fang then spun around with a heel kick at the next Oni, slamming the monster to the ground.

"This is incredible." Ken said. "The power is just so cool."

"Yeah, well don't think about taking the reigns." Fang said as he continued to attack the Oni. "Since you're only one body, only one mind should be in control."

"What would happen if we do otherwise?"

"We'd both lose control and I won't be able to contain my power." Fang said. An Oni then slashed at him, skinning his clothes. "GOD DAMMIT!! I'LL GET YOU FOR THAT!!!" Fang then slashed back at the Oni, but not with just one, he slashed back several times more. "Anyways, if you try to use my power to fight, things might go wrong. So for now, let me do the fighting, you just learn."

Jason at at the playground for a mintue before the Spiderlings founded out where he was. " oh snap they found us Greyson". Jason started to run to the bottom. Then his legs just stopped in his tracks " What why ain't i moving?!". Jason started to panic.

Greyson rolled his eyes and said " i stopped your move young worrier". Jason was confused " Why?". Greyson said with power " because i want some of this action". Greyson switched places with Jason. " Watch and learn young sir". Greyson started to move towards the Spiderlings and he punched one of them and that one flew far " i sitll have it!"

Sparrow sat back as Ibuki used her body to make their way through the desert. She found it weird to be able to see what was going on, to hear the sounds around them, but not be able to move any of her muscles. It was like being what most people called in a vegetable state, she assumed; having a presence but not being able to do anything to let someone know you were there. “I never thought of it that way.” Ibuki chimed in. ‘What are you talking about?’ Sparrow asked, well aware of the answer. “I never thought about how being ‘possessed’ must feel. Being completely aware of your surroundings, but not like you said not being able to tell the outside world how you feel.” Sparrow was quiet for a time, while Ibuki looked towards the sky to make sure they weren’t going in circles, or too far off the Oni’s trail. ‘How did you know what I was thinking?’ Sparrow questioned. Ibuki found a cool spot, under a sand covered cave to rest for a moment. “Well, when I took over your body, our minds interlocked, with my mind becoming dominate- only enough to take over physically. Henceforth, I can read your mind and you can speak with me in the same fashion.” They were both quiet as they rested in the shade. When Ibuki had figured they were rested enough she stood and continued on their journey, cringing at the sight of a group of scorpions tearing apart an unknown insect. ’What,…you mean to tell me that you can take on a group of these Oni things, but cant stand some bugs?’ Sparrow voiced, laughing a little. “Well, I could never handle bugs, even in my previous life. But that’s enough of that, the Oni‘s presence is getting stronger, which means we‘re getting closer.”

Watching her underlings one by one get defeated by this team of unknown warriors, Keres decided that it was finally time to take matter into her own hands. Keres held out her hand and darted out 5 poisonous darts out that all came from her finger nails. If these were to hit the Warriors, it could be curtains for all of them before they even began to get far in their quest. Saru noticed the incoming attack from Keres and alerted Virgil telepathically. "Virgil look out!" Saru alerted the teen. Virgil turned around only to see a dart heading his way. Out of a quick reflex, Virgil leaned back bridging his body as if he were Neo and this was a scene from The Matrix. The dart would connect with Virgil's clone, that poofled upon impact of the dart.

Virgil then noticed that Keres was sending these attacks out to all of the Warriors. Taking evasive action for his team, Virgil would inform everyone about the attack, he couldn't think of the thought of his teammates getting hurt. 'I can't let anything happen to them.. I'm responsible for everyone!' Virgil thought too himself. He would then form four clones of himself to take the darts for the team. "Go!" shouted Virgil as he instructed the team of Red Ninjetti Warriors, who were all linked to Virgil's thoughts. Virgil himself would make a break for an attack at Keres as he ran towards her and leaped into the air, making an attempt to come down with a kick to Keres' chest. But the Oni was too smart and strong for Virgil to take on alone. Keres spun out of the way and would deliver a powerful palm strike to Virgil's chest knocking him back into a tree.

"Don't even try it, boy.. Did you really think that your pathetic Ninjetti powers could stop me alone? Now I will finish you off.. And after I'm done with you, your friends are NEXT!!!" said Keres, before letting out a laugh. As Keres began to stalk him, Virgil held his chest, wincing in pain. "How in the hell did she do that?" asked Virgil to Saru. "Oni are very powerful.. One cannot stop an Oni alone.. But the power of five can, with this particular one.. You will have to outsmart her on your next attack.. Keep her busy, I will gather the other spirits and have them guide your friends to your aid." said Saru. Slowly, Virgil got back up to his feet and got into a fighting stance. 'Outsmart her.. But how?' thought Virgil. He then looked up to the tree above him and thought of an idea that might just work.

Jason was finishing off a few underlings. When he got to the last one Greyson said "I feel something!". Jason took the last Underling and said to Greyson " What are you feeling?". Greyson closed his eyes but coulden't sense anything " Put the underling down". Jason did what has told.

Then The underling smiled and stepped out the way " LOOK OUT!!!". Jason made a T shape with his feet and did a teleportation move. Jason reached 3 feet away from what was trying to hit him. Then the arrow made a U turn and started back at him. " Greyson what now!". " protect your self!"... Jason coverd his face. Then he saw that one of Jasons clones took the dart for him..

"What?". Jason said reveling his face again " your leader took the dart for you". Jason smlied and look towards the real red ninja and he was hurt badly. Jason then ran towards him and Keres and jumped in the air and strike a kick.

Crane turned as another two ran up to her ready to strike, quickly making a back flip missing the first blow and then a cartwheel to miss the second she landed on her feet and then jumped up, grabbing the branch above her from one of the trees she kicked one hard in the face before letting go of the branch and landing next tot the other goon before giving him a spinning kick. Just as she did she turned as Virgil’s clone dove in front of her, getting hit by the dart and disappearing in a poof. “What the f#$&?” She blinked looking over to where Virgil was and at the Oni. “Crap...”

Ken watched as Fang single-handedly took out the many Oni that kept charging at him. "I gotta say, you're pretty good at this. What's more, I can't even feel the pain all that much."

"That's because my power is gives you my endurance as well." Fang said. While Fang continued to fight against his own batch of Oni, neither he nor Ken saw Keres had prepared to shoot them all with darts. It wasn't until the darts were fired that Ken took notice. "Fang, look out!"

"Huh?" Fang looked around for whatever it was, but saw nothing.

"To your right!"

The second Fang looked over, he saw the dart flying towards him. Before it hit, one of Virgil's duplicates dove in and took the shot, disappearing from the impact. "Close call there." "Yeah, no thanks to you." "No thanks to me? I'm the one who noticed it!"

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

"What's the plan from here?" Jenson asked, slightly out of breath from running up hill in the lush white sand. It all seemed hopeless. Why did Crysen decide on this fate for His disciple? Suddenly, in front of them a temple-like building emerged. It looked ancient. "Holy Crysen. What's that?!" Jenson exclaimed. "That's salvation, man." Carl replied, seemingly encouraged by the sight to run faster. "I didn't say this before. But I used to be a Power Ranger. I'm gonna see if my coin'll do anything."

Power Ranger? Those spandex armored super heroes of years back? Maybe the heat got to his mind... Then again... There was an old mysterious building up there... Him being a Power Ranger might be true after all. Crysen's ways are strange indeed.

The monster was still in pursuit. Suddenly it took a great leap towards Jenson and Carl. "Watch out!" Jenson cried out. Carl turned around, still running. The monster flew straight towards him. It seemed as if Carl swallowed the monster whole, which was totally unexpected. Carl's bodylanguage changed though. With a mad, crooked look he lifted his head and looked at Jenson. Then he charged. "Ah, damn. Crysen 14:12-13 'And the daemons took over the bodies of their foes and with those bodies, they tormented the lands.'"

Soon the possessed Carl attacked Jenson. With his body low to the ground, he charged at Jense, who got hit in the stomach and dragged up the hill. Jenson took a few swings at the exposed back of his enemy, but the demon didn't seem to notice anything. Then the creature stopped and Jenson tumbled over the ground. His head smacked on a particularly compact patch of sand as he stopped rolling. Jenson scrambled up. He thought fast. He sprinted towards the building and got inside quick. He saw there was a rather large, solid, heavy stone door he could close and he started to push it. Just before the possessed Carl reached him, the door closed.

"So... Now what?!" Jenson asked himself.

Emily Kellson:

Emily she was fighting whatever came her way and she still had a lot of energy. It was amazing what this Ninjetti power was giving her, and she was surprisingly liking what she was representing. She then focused her energy and ran to a tree into a flip, preventing a spiderling from attacking her. She then turned her focus to her fellow rangers. They were doing okay but then she noticed that Oni had taken matters into her own hands. She had thrown an attack and luckily Virgil was able to miss it, and he even took his own duplicates to take on the other darts. Though one headed into her direction wizzed passed one of the doubles. She then jumped in the air over it, avoiding contact. "Whew that was close," she exclaimed. She could feel Claw feeling the same way.

Thinking quick on his feet, Virgil leaped up into the tree above and hid within the thick, dense leaves that were surrounding him. A evil smirk grew across the face of Keres as she had already thought of an counter-strike for Virgil's actions. Bringing her hand up to her mouth and licking her fingers a few times, Keres would fling her hand out to the tree, sending that saliva that was on her fingertips onto the tree. Seconds later the tree began to decompose itself, as if something was eating it away inside.. When in actuality, Keres' saliva is made of acid. The tree began to lean over. Virgil could feel himself losing his balance and jumped out of the tree and onto the ground. Unaware of what was about to happen, Virgil began to look around, only to see that the huge tree was about to fall on both Ken and Emily.

"LOOK OUT!!! NOO!!!" shouted Virgil to the top of his lungs, but it was too late. The tree had fallen on both Ken and Emily, crushing them. A great deal of anger came over Virgil as he looked to Keres who was now laughing at what she had done. Virgil ran towards Keres and delivered a hard punch to her face. As Virgil punched a spiritual aura of an Ape surrounded him just for that split second. Keres was stunned a bit from this attack as she has never felt such power before. "You will pay for taking the lives of my friends!" said Virgil. He then charged at her again, this time kicking her in the chest. The kick was strong enough to send Keres back a bit. Out of desperation, Keres shot out a web at Virgil and covered him up in it.

'Virgil, don't let your emotions get the best of you. Summon your Katana.' said Saru. Virgil concentrated on summoning his weapon. The Katana materialized out of thin air and cut through Keres' thick web. Virgil grabbed his weapon and twirled it around a bit. "Jason! Tare! Its time to squash this spider! Lets end this!" said Virgil, ordering his teammates to form up.

Greer watched the battle from afar, her eyes closely upon Tare as she hoped that if she needed her she would call. Though knowing the girl well she knew it wouldn’t be a easy thing for her to do. Greer’s heart leapt as she saw the Oni attack all the ranger’s and gasped as Tare was almost hit but saved by one of Vergil’s clones. She was relived and her eyes smiled as Vergil was showing to be a very watchful leader indeed, protecting his own even in the heat of battle. Just then she looked and saw Claw appear looking right to Emily with a grave look upon his face and Greer’s heart sunk... “oh no...” she whispered as she then saw her begin to fade as a yellow light flowed from her as it then formed to another bear whom she knew as Ajax and watched as he disappeared. She looked to Saru and then Tare...


Taregan moved quickly towards the creature Keres, the spider Oni. Stopping just short as she looked to Virgil as he seemed to be looking at something, she didn’t know how but she knew he was planning something.

Bring it!” she shouted as she readied herself for the creature’s attack. She knew it was reckless as all get out but that was her now, her eyes looked about at everything thing around her and with the flow of power in her, perhaps if she could get the creature's attention the other two could have an advantage, right now, she felt like she could do anything...


Jayla/Ajax

Jay’s long dark hair that flowed over her shoulders bounced slightly as she walked down the street, her soft brown eyes looking straight forward, but unknown to others she was looking at a large ranger of what was around her. Her small ears listening in to everything that went on around her. She was on high alert today, something was very wrong and she could feel it, something was going to happen to day and she felt it ever since she woke up that morning. She held her yellow and tan handcrafted back close to her side as walked briskly towards home and then stopped as she noticed no one, not a single soul, not a single animal was on the street. She looked up at the sky and it was late enough to where people would be out usually, more so with school around the corner, kids were always rushing around to do everything they could before school started. But not today and it just put her more on edge...

Jay began walking again and then stopped once more as she heard the tune of some band playing from her pocket. Morgan, her guardian, had programmed this little electronic called a cell phone to what she thought would be Jay’s liking, but in all honesty Jay didn’t care for it. IT was fascinating but it also seemed so strange to her and it was actually a little annoying as well with Morgan calling her all the time to find out where she was and if she was okay... even at the house she was living in with her she was bugged constantly about if she needed anything, or if anything was wrong. Jay honestly just wanted to be left alone to do her business, yes it was hard having no memory of her past or knowledge of certain things but Morgan was smothering her like she was some little child who knew absolutely nothing. It was very nerve racking and Jay spent as much time out of the house and away from Morgan as she could.

Jay pulled out the phone and looked at it a moment, she debated in her mind rather or not she would answer the phone or not. Just as she was about to push the little green button something caught her eye and she looked up seeing a bear walking behind a building. She blinked a moment as her mind tried to figure out why in the world a bear would be walking loose around here. She knew there were things she didn’t understand about these places and these people, but she was very sure that a bear should not be walking through town. So pushing the red button and putting away the phone she began jogging over to where she spotted the bear, unafraid as she rounded the corner and saw nothing.

Frowning a little she sighed and turned around only to come face to face with the animal, but again she felt no fear. “Hello there” she said as she took a step forward towards it.

“Hello Jayla” The Bear said back as he looked up to her. This time Jay froze not knowing how to react, she knew very well that animal’s didn’t talk, other than the strange motion pictures called cartoons and movies. “Yes Jayla I can talk, and no you are not dreaming or going insane” he said with a gruff voice as he stood on his hind legs before speaking again to the stunned girl, “This is not magic nor am I a regular bear... My name is Ajax and I am your spirit Guide” He said point blankly. He wasn’t one for beating around the bush with things which was apparent, but Jay was having a little difficulty processing this, but at the same time, it seemed so natural to her...

After a few minutes they stood there in silence before Jay finally spoke, “My.. spirit guide...?” she asked him still a little in shock which Ajax could see and he sighed a little going back on all fours.

“Yes Jayla, your spirit guide, I wish that this was something I could lay upon you gradually but we do not have time. You are needed in a battle not far from here for you are to be the true yellow Ninjetti warrior.” he said pawing up to her closer, “There is so much and so little time, but I need you to accept your role now and in doing so you will be one step closer to the one you seek” he said which snapped Jay right into focus now. “All things happen for a reason, I know that most would run away from this sudden change in the path you walk upon" Jay nodded to him and took a breath. "What must I do?"

Ryan/Canis

Ryan pulls himself out of the water. It had seemed like a good idea to him at the time to try and impress the young ladies who were leaning on the bank by diving in and splashing around a bit. It didn’t seem to have worked though. Now here he was right by where they’d been as he’d dived in and there was no sign of them. Part of him was worried he was losing his knack, but he quickly ruled that out. In the warm California sun he quickly dried off and as he did he began noticing something was wrong. He glanced round, it wasn’t just the girls that had vanished, there seemed to be no one around at all, even stranger still there seemed to be no animals either. As he dried off he listened for anything, but there was no bird calls, no sounds of laughter, not even a stray dog bark. Something was wrong.

He began thinking about what his grandfathers would do. They’d investigate, he knew that, he didn’t even have to think about it. He pulled on his four hundred dollar jacket and finally picked up on some kind of a noise in the distance, it sounded like a battle. He headed straight for it. Quickly finding himself in a bush where he could witness five ninja clad warriors battling weird looking monsters. “What’s going on,” Ryan whispered to himself, “this is crazy.”

“It does seem odd,” a voice said behind Ryan, it was optimistic and full of energy, and more worryingly for Ryan volume “but it’s real.”

“Yeah I can see it’s real,” Ryan tried to speak hoarsely and encourage the newcomer to do the same, “I’d just like to know…”

Ryan had glanced round to his new companion but there was no one there, only a wolf. Ryan gulped and starred at the animal in front of him. For a moment he was sure he was about to die.

“Hi,” the wolf said with a grin.

Ryan tried to scream but it just caught in his throat.

“They’re ninjetti warriors, each with there own spirit guide. I’m yours, you can call me Canis, in fact you can call me anything, long as it’s not late for dinner. Anyway on to the important stuff, in the words of the Governator ‘Come with me if you want to live.’”

Ryan starred at the wolf for a second. He’d had a good education, a full education and if he’d learned one thing it was that you don’t argue with a talking wolf.

“Fine.”

Suddenly they were gone. Just in time, as branches of the felled tree crashed where Ryan had been watching the fight.

Jason

Jason was also watching from afar he couldn't believe what was happening Greyson was wanting to go and fight but Jason's spirit decided to take over. Jason was watching Virgil the whole time.



Thinking quick on his feet, Virgil leaped up into the tree above and hid within the thick, dense leaves that were surrounding him. A evil smirk grew across the face of Keres as she had already thought of an counter-strike for Virgil's actions. Bringing her hand up to her mouth and licking her fingers a few times, Keres would fling her hand out to the tree, sending that saliva that was on her fingertips onto the tree. Seconds later the tree began to decompose itself, as if something was eating it away inside.. When in actuality, Keres' saliva is made of acid. The tree began to lean over. Virgil could feel himself losing his balance and jumped out of the tree and onto the ground. Unaware of what was about to happen, Virgil began to look around, only to see that the huge tree was about to fall on both Ken and Emily.

"LOOK OUT!!! NOO!!!" shouted Virgil to the top of his lungs, but it was too late. The tree had fallen on both Ken and Emily, crushing them. A great deal of anger came over Virgil as he looked to Keres who was now laughing at what she had done. Virgil ran towards Keres and delivered a hard punch to her face. As Virgil punched a spiritual aura of an Ape surrounded him just for that split second. Keres was stunned a bit from this attack as she has never felt such power before. "You will pay for taking the lives of my friends!" said Virgil. He then charged at her again, this time kicking her in the chest. The kick was strong enough to send Keres back a bit. Out of desperation, Keres shot out a web at Virgil and covered him up in it.

'Virgil, don't let your emotions get the best of you. Summon your Katana.' said Saru. Virgil concentrated on summoning his weapon. The Katana materialized out of thin air and cut through Keres' thick web. Virgil grabbed his weapon and twirled it around a bit. "Jason! Tare! Its time to squash this spider! Lets end this!" said Virgil, ordering his teammates to form up.

"NOOOOO" Jason thought to him self as he saw the tree come down. He fell to his knees and shedding one tear before he got back up with rage. Then Greyson appeared "You control you self and join your friends they are waiting". Jason got up on his 2 feet and walked over to where his friends where to finish this witch off " Man you are history say good bye to your life witch!". Jason said with fire in his eyes ready to finish her off.

Keres was frightend by the sight of the Ninjetti Warriors all fired up because of the deaths of their fallen teammates. She had never felt a power like it before. None the less this didn't let Keres stop her plans. Grinding her teeth together, she would summon up a powerful blast that would send all of the Ninjetti Warriors to the ground. Virgil was blown back by the attack and landed hard on the ground as well as the others. Virgil got back up to his feet still staggering a bit from that last attack by Keres. "Now what, Saru? She took us all out with one single blast.. If we take another attack like that, we're history!" said Virgil to Saru, while holding his chest and wincing in pain. 'I teach you a few things about the art of Ninjetti and you think that is all to know? This is only but the tip of the iceberg.. Now.. Its time to teach you an attack that is strong enough to do away with Keres and most Oni you may face if they are too strong to destroy alone.. Summon the Power Cannon.' instructed Saru. Virgil had no clue to what Saru was talking about and had a bit of doubt on what was he was told to do.

"The Power Cannon? Wait.. Didn't the Power Rangers use that?" asked Virgil to Saru. 'No. They didn't.. That was the Power Blaster.. But that was then.. This is now, Virgil. You all draw the same power from the Power Rangers and will eventually become them one day.. But the only way to progress to that is to conquer today's test.. Which is defeat Keres. Now.. Summon the Power Cannon.' said Saru. As the thoughts all rushed through Virgil's mind, Saru began to sense spirits along the perimeters of Angel Grove. Virgil reached his hand out to the sky. "I hope you're right you monkey.. I SUMMON POWER CANNON!!!" cried Virgil with all of his might. Out of thin air a large cannon appeared, hovering in the air. Virgil was surprised it worked as well as Keres, who then began readying another attack. 'Now, quickly.. You and the others call upon your Spiritual Chi to insert into the cannon. Hurry, before Keres attacks again and destroys you all!' shouted Saru within Virgil's mind. Virgil nodded his head and looked to the others.

"Alright y'all, I guess your spirits too, have informed you on what the heck is going on with this 'BFG'. Now its time to lock and load this thing.. I need everyone to focus and summon your Spiritual Chi so we can load it into the Power Cannon." said Virgil. Quickly Virgil concentrated on summoning his Spiritual Chi, using a great deal of focus. After a few seconds a glowing Red orb would emit itself from Virgil's chestplate and hover in front of him. Virgil opened his eyes and smiled under his mask. "Yeah! It worked!" shouted Virgil before he grabbed the orb and placed it into the cannon. "Alright, mines is in!.. Hurry up and put yours in so we can end Keres!" said Virgil, who was now gripping the cannon.

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

Jenson had moved away from the door and found himself in a very strange room. Was it even a room? It seemed there were no walls, only darkness. And stars or lights in the distance, which seemed way out of reach. In the center were weird consoles and tubes of dim light. Jenson could hear scratching and thumping at the door. "Crysen, aid me!" Jenson sighed. There seemed no way out.

"Crysen, aid me!" Echoed through the forest. All the trees were grey, with black leaves. Even the floor was black. It looked as if the world was out of energy. "Crysen!" It echoed again. It seemed a female voice now. "Crysen!" Slowly the old man opened his eyes, shining brightly in the darkness. "Who dares awaken me!?" He rumbled. Slowly colour returned to the forest, as Crysen's long and deep slumber subsided. Crysen's vision moved to whomever awakened him. It was a young man, dressed in some kind of cloak. Crysen sensed some kind of awareness in the man, as if he knew of Crysen. The man looked worried. Crysen moved his glare outwards to see what was troubling him. Outside he saw an African-American man trying to bust his way through the door. A shock went through Crysen. He felt the presence of a spirit he had helped lock away a long, long time ago. An Oni!

Suddenly a white light appeared from the central area. Jenson was quite shocked to see his plea work. According to the Holy Writings, Crysen is in an eternal slumber. For him to help Jenson, something must really be up. Maybe it was more likely this was some trap or something... On the other hand, what did he have to lose?

Jenson walked towards the white light and stepped into it. Suddenly he felt like his was falling. The white light was all around him, leaving no shade anywhere. Then he effortlessly landed. His knees didn't even bend. It was as if he hadn't been falling at all.

Sparrow Moore

‘What’s that feeling?’ Sparrow asked as Ibuki used her body to climb over a third white sand hill. “What feeling?” Ibuki responded. ‘It’s kinda hard to describe, but I can kind of feel a third presence. Like I have some sort of vague connection to it.’ The duo reached a clearing and could just about make out a building less than 200 feet away. “I believe that would be my sensing powers. As I said, the more and more connected we become, the greater the chances for you to experience my powers. In time, you will be able to tap into them without my possession of your body, but as for now, your body is taking this time to adjust. It is indeed a good thing that you are sensing the Oni, it means that you trust me more than you may think.” The two continued to get closer to the building, and could see that its placement in the desert, wasn’t its only unique characteristic. ‘What is a building doing in the middle of the desert?’ Sparrow asked. Ibuki fell silent for one moment, she wasn’t quite sure, but didn’t want to explain her not-knowing to Sparrow. “I’m not quite sure, but whatever it was used for, the inhabitants wanted the contents hidden. Plus I’m sure it hasn’t been used in a while.” As soon as the words were out of her mouth the duo spotted the Oni. ‘Is that what I think it is?’ Sparrow asked. Immediately Ibuki took off and ran faster than she remembered she could go and was behind the Oni in a matter of seconds. “Yes, that is the Oni.” Sparrow cringed, knowing what was about to happen. She wasn’t much of a fighter, and knew that her body wouldn’t be able to take much of a beating, but hoped that with all of Ibuki’s knowledge it wouldn’t have to. “Hey!” Ibuki shouted at the Oni. “Mind telling me what you’re doing out here?” As she finished, she found herself in fighting stance, preparing for what could be the fight of a lifetime. The Oni turned, but before it could attack, Ibuki was upon it, delivering a right jab to the face, followed by a left hook before a diving sommersaulting out of its' way in case of a counter attack.

Ryan/Canis

Ryan had thought he’d seen it all, he’d done so much in his young life already, at ten years old he’d sailed his father’s yacht halfway to Africa from the Riviera, at twelve he’d rock climbed in the Alps. None of him prepared him for the scene he could see now. It was a jungle, no Ryan caught himself, he’d been to public school, he knew jungle was a made up term, what was this then he wondered, a rainforest perhaps. He could see a waterfall, not huge but big enough for Ryan’s liking. He was in some kind of temple, as far as he could tell. He didn’t recognise the architecture but he couldn’t help but be impressed. There was a faint drizzle in the air that reminded him of home. “So I believe the thing to say here is, I’m not in Kansas anymore.” He watched the talking wolf that had brought him here, it was a few feet away, across the waterfall, it seemed to be talking to another wolf, but that one was more translucent. Ryan couldn’t hear what they were saying over the water and soon the second animal faded. While Canis came back toward him Ryan began looking round himself.

“Beautiful isn’t it,” the wolf said, trying to repress a note of sadness in his voice. “You want to go explore, I know you do, but now is not the time.”

“Where are we?” Ryan had his eyes fixed on the path away from the temple.

“This is the jungle temple in the spirit realm." Canis' tone suddenly changed, catching Ryan off guard, "you are needed to become a warrior and protect your world.”

Ryan raised an eyebrow.

“Evil creatures named Oni are attacking the planet, I know you don’t know what an Oni is but…”

“Japanese legends, often translated into demon or ogre," Ryan rattled off from memory. "Sometimes seen as tricksters, others as your typical monster of the week. Only thing that is agreed about them is they’re a myth.”

“The only thing agreed about them is wrong. They are here and you need to fight them.”

Ryan knew there was no such thing as Oni, but then he was talking to a wolf, and it was answering him back.

“Okay, let’s say I believe you, and I’m not saying I do, how can I help?”

A Winston never refuses a request for help, it was a family curse.

Jason stood there for a moment before Keres let go of a powerful blast that sent Jason alongside with his teammates back far until they hit the ground. " Whoa she is strong" Jason said getting up from that powerful blast. He held his arms and got up slowly. He began to back up when Greyson controlled every part of his body " Greyson what are you doing i don't think we are strong enough yet!".

Greyson then told Jason " you must be strong and stand along side with your leader he is counting on you and the others to help him". Jason put his head down, then the feeling of control disappeared and it was ll Jason. Jason stepped up and had a mean mug on his face. "Alright y'all, I guess your spirits too, have informed you on what the heck is going on with this 'BFG'. Now its time to lock and load this thing.. I need everyone to focus and summon your Spiritual Chi so we can load it into the Power Cannon." Virgil said. Jason looked confused asked Greyson " what is he talking about?".

" look inside yourself young worrier and you will find you Spiritual Chi and you will use it to power the cannon to release you blast" . Jason closed his eyes "Alright, mines is in!.. Hurry up and put yours in so we can end Keres!" said Virgil happy he hit her. Jason stepped up to the cannon with his eyes still closed he go into deep thought then a dark purple orb started to come from out of his chestplate and into the cannon which also hit Keres " Awesome i felt so much power!!!!!.

Being blown back Tare hit the ground hard, all the wind being knocked out of her as she laid on the ground a moment before forcing herself back up to her feet, She was about to charge in pure anger before Greer spoke to her. “Crane wait, you must work as a team, I know you are upset and angry, but you must not allow it to cloud your judgment in this” she said to her. Tare was not taking it well but saw Vergil and Jason as they created their orbs and then clenched her fists. Greer spoke again, “concentrate, you know what to do...” she spoke and Tare closed her eyes and moved her hands out, moving them as a dark pink orb began forming out of her chest plate, it grew in size and she opened her eyes looking at the glowing orb, “let’s end this” she hissed as she put the orb into the cannon and looking dead at the Oni* “get ready to say goodnight b!^$#” she said with a dark laugh*

"Alright Keres, its time to say sayonora!" shouted Virgil to Keres. Keres knew what was coming next for her, but she wouldn't go down at all without a fight. "Even if you defeat me, do you think it will end here?! There will be stronger Oni.. Demons and creatures of the darkness that not even your pathetic Ninjetti spirits can stop!" said Keres, before letting out a laugh. Virgil gripped the cannon even tighter and aimed it at Keres. "Well we'll just have to trust them enough so when that time comes we'll be the shining light in the darkness that will try to consume the city.. We are ready to face anything that comes this way.. Now Keres, playtime's over.. We're finished dealing with you and talking to you." said Virgil to Keres. Keres charged up one last attack preparing to make an attempt to wipe out the rest of the Ninjetti Warriors. "Fire on three guys.. One.. Two.. THREE!!!" shouted Virgil pulling the trigger on the cannon.

"NO!" shouted Keres as she blasted her own beam at the Warriors. The two blasts collided with each other but it would seem that the Ninjetti Warriors' blast had consumed Keres' blast and kept its path towards her. "Oh sh--" said Keres before she was blown into nothing. The impact caused a big explosion. Keres' impact on the Angel Grove citizens had also worn off as the remaining Spiderlings changed back into their once before human forms which were the citizens of Angel Grove. 'You did it!' said Saru. Virgil smiled under his mask and then turned to his other two teammates. "No, Saru.. We did it.." said Virgil. Suddenly Saru sensed the other two Ninjetti Spirits lurking near by, it seems that they have resurrected and have found two new hosts. Saru sent out a message to both the Wolf Ninjetti Spirit and the Bear Ninjetti Spirit telling them both to guide their hosts to the Monolith at once. As the bond grew closer between the team, Saru as well as the other Ninjetti spirits gained the ability to speak to the other Warriors when or if they were near by.

"Good job.. All of you. You have made us proud and we are glad to have you as our students.. Now, I need the three of you to teleport back to the Monolith.. I have a surprise for the three of you." said Saru to the Ninjetti Warriors. Virgil nodded his head and looked to the rest of his team. "Well.. You heard the monkey.. Besides I wanna see what this surprise is!" said Virgil, before laughing a bit. Virgil then closed his eyes and focused on teleporting to the Monolith. Suddenly a small streak of red light covered Virgil's body and darted up to the sky. Moments later Virgil arrived at the Monolith, unmasked and unhooded.

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

Jenson was walking in a weird room. It looked a bit like an operating room, but everything was white, very white. It almost hurt. There were consoles and a big tube, much like upstairs. Maybe the other place wasn't upstairs actually...

Suddenly Jenson spotted a box that seemed rather out of place. It was small and gold, but it looked dirty and dull. Out of curiosity Jenson walked towards the box. He opened the seal and lifted the lid. A bright sparkly light blinded him for a moment. When his eyes got used to it, he saw 6 coins. These must be the ones Carl was talking about. 5 of them looked just as dull and dirty as the box. The sixth one was very weird though. Jenson could see it was just as dirty as the rest of them and the gold didn't seem shiny either, but some kind of bright, white, sparkling aura was radiating out of it. Slowly he moved his hand towards it. Then his indexfinger touched it. Then he vanished.

"Ah, there is the one who disturbed my sleep." Someone rumbled. Jenson looked around. He was in a mystical kinda forest-like place. He couldn't quite put a finger on it. It looked like a forest, but with odd colors, intense colors. It felt like a dream. "I was unaware anyone lived here. In the ancient building I mean. Though, are we still there now?" Jenson replied uncertain. He noticed his voice was echoing, which surprised him. "We are currently in the Spirit Realm, but I was dormant in the coin you just touched. I could hear your pleas from the old Command Center as you were wandering through it. My awakening opened the white portal you saw." The voice replied. Jenson was now noticing where it came from. There were two bright white eyes in the shade of a tree. "Who are you?" Jenson asked shakily. "Do you not realize, boy! I am the Falcon Crysen!" The voice thundered. Jenson instantly fell to one knee. "I am sorry Lord. I had not expected you would face a mere acolyte like me, even in these circumstances." Jenson said humbled. Crysen was silent for an unusual long time. "I matters not. Stand up, boy." He finally said, sounding much milder. Jenson got to his feet. "As you have noticed, the world is under siege. The Oni have returned and have possessed someone outside the doors of the Command Center. We, the Spirit Beasts, have forced them back before, but it seems that wasn't good enough. Unfortunately I'm bound to the Spirit Realm, but I can aid you in defeating them. I sense you have the potential to do so. Now close your eyes." An order given by the great Crysen! What an honor. Jenson closed his eyes. "Now concentrate. Try to find a connection with me. When you touched the coin, we were bonded. Now we just have to open the channels in that bond." Jenson tried touching Crysen with his mind. Suddenly he felt something. He felt his memories being touched. He could feel someone reading him, understanding him. He couldn't feel Crysen's memories though. It was like they were sealed away. "You are a quick learner. Now I can help you find the power to fight these demons." Crysen disappeared. White streaks starting from Jenson's feet beaming upward, engulfing him in a blinding light. Then, as the light died away, Jenson remained, but now clothed in white hooded garment. On his chest there was a golden crest of a falcon, and there were gold diamond shaped patterns on his shins and forearms.

"This is the Ninjetti power." Crysen said as the forest faded away. It seemed to be said directly into his head now. Suddenly Jenson appeared outside the Command Center, or at least Jenson thought it was called that, since Crysen kept saying that. He saw some girl take a swing at Carl, hit his jaw, give him another punch, then flip back in defence. "Those are both possessed!" Crysen said. Jenson felt the power flow inside him. Carl was a nice guy, he had to get the possessor out of him and keep this other girl off his back. Jenson thought quick, then started running. He ran at the girl and took a swing at her head.

"Alright Keres, its time to say sayonora!" Jason smlied under neath his suit and said to him self " i feel so wanted i so can't wait for what the future holds". Then he heard Keres say "Even if you defeat me, do you think it will end here?! There will be stronger Oni.. Demons and creatures of the darkness that not even your pathetic Ninjetti spirits can stop!"

Jason Luaghed and said " yeah right Lady our powers over do yours and this ONI!"."Well we'll just have to trust them enough so when that time comes we'll be the shining light in the darkness that will try to consume the city.. We are ready to face anything that comes this way.. Now Keres, playtime's over.. We're finished dealing with you and talking to you."

said Virgil pointing the blaster at Keres. Jason got a handle on the blaster to and was ready to shoot.

"Fire on three guys.. One.. Two.. THREE!!!" shouted Virgil pulling the trigger on the cannon. Jason lunged back a little to balance the weight,. After the smoke cleared and he knew the Keres was history " we did it!" jason said sitting down in the grass."Good job.. All of you. You have made us proud and we are glad to have you as our students.. Now, I need the three of you to teleport back to the Monolith.. I have a surprise for the three of you.". Jason smiled and got up slowly Greyson said to Jason " i am so proud of you young worrier"."Well.. You heard the monkey.. Besides I wanna see what this surprise is!"
Jason laughed to and closed his eyes and dark purple light started to surround Jason and he was off to Monolith. Once he laded he gave Virgil a pound and said " aye Virg man this is so cool".

Jayla sat before Ajax in silence, he had just explained to her in a nut shell what he was there for, why she was needed and what was at stake. He also told her the dangers and risks that came with accepting this, but that did not matter very much to her. Jay didn’t have anyone, no family, no friends, no memory... But what she did have was a sense of honor and duty. For some reason as Ajax spoke to her it all seemed very familiar and she had already made up her mind and Ajax knew it. Jay shared the same type of spirit as Ajax, they shared the same temperament, that was what made it so easy for them to communicate and read off one another. Jay saw clearly this was no game, this mattered, and somehow she was connected with this, it being the only thing since she woke up that she felt connected to.

As Tare arrived with the others to the monolith she pulled off her mask and walked away from the others to the edge, just looking out as the rush of what just happened started to settle... Two of them were dead. Dead... not seriously hurt, but gone. She looked at the others and clenched her teeth walking to Jason, “Cool? You think this is f^*king cool?! Two people just died out there, we could have been wiped out and that was one of the weaker ones?” She shook her head moving back, “I’m sorry, but this is not cool, I’m a complete idiot for joining this stupid thing. So saru or whatever, thanks for saving my hide but I’m out... I’m not putting my neck out there for a bunch of people I could care less about. The world is going to hell anyway, I’d rather spend the rest of my time with my boyfriend than getting myself killed faster..” she said turning and then glared at Virgil, “and you shut it, you talked me into this. I told you, I told you if anything happened to me it would be on your head and look, two of the people in YOUR charge got killed in our first fight. You think your all that and can ‘lead’ us in something you have no clue in?” she said as she began walking, getting ready to transport.

“Hey!” Jay shouted walking out, she wore a yellow ninjetti outfit, with her mask covering her face. she moved out from where she was and stood before Tare who now had a confused look upon her face. “I do not understand the issues you are dealing with Miss, but your issues are very small compared to what the world faces and I can not believe that you are cold hearted enough to not care for anyone, because if it was you would never have been chosen.” she said watching her steadily with a calm voice. “we have been chosen to do something great, for it is our destiny. the reason why the two were killed today may not be revealed to us now but it was their destiny. Not yours and that is why you should pause and look to see the reason why.” Tear looked at the girl a bit speechless, she was unsure of what to say but was still angry as she just turned her head away walking to the edge of the monolith looking out

Virgil would pound Jason back as he sat down on a tree trunk exhaling from exhaustion. "Yeah it is cool that we have these powers and all, Jason.. But-" right when Virgil was about to mention the deaths of his other two former teammates, Taregan bursted out with her thoughts and doubts of the team. Virgil nodded his head at Taregan after she had stormed away. "Man there just ain't no talkin that girl into anything! I tried my best, man.. I really did! But you know what? If she don't wanna be around.. Fine.. She can go back to where she came.. Tare acts like nooobody gives a damn about her! Well I did! I still do.. The she acts like I wanted to do this?! Like I woke up this morning and said 'I wanna go fight some demons that could kill me and the entire human race' I didn't ask for this either.. But I ain't runnin' scared! Man, I need to go chill. " said Virgil before he stood up and walked away to the other side of the Monolith, trying to clear his thoughts.

Ryan/Canis

Ryan could here voices, they weren’t very far away, he could here one of them saying how cool their powers were. Ryan assumed it must be the returning heroes, they must have been victorious. “Right Saru says what we need to do is become one.”

“Become one,” Ryan raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

“Yeah, you know meditate and have our spirits link.”

“I thought they were linked already.”

“More linked,” Canis said lamely. “I’ve never done this before, I’m nervous.”

“Okay calm down,” Ryan reassured. “I’ve meditated before. Just close your eyes and relax. Let yourself become a wisp of smoke, a ghost, a stream, whatever you like.”

A moment passed as Ryan sat on the floor legs crossed with Canis at his feet. Slowly Ryan felt Canis disappear and himself begin to glow. When the glow faded Ryan found himself in blue ninja garb with a golden wolf crest. He felt Canis in his mind say ‘Woo this is awesome.’ Ryan had to agree it was.

He got up and went to meet his new allies.

Sparrow Moore

For the second time, Sparrow winced at the pain from her body colliding with the side of the Command Center. Ibuki had said that she would still have feeling without control, but she still wished she had a hand in her own defense. As the duo sank to one knee, Sparrow expressed her opinion of the situation. ‘What are you doing Ibuki? I thought you had experience with this!’ Ibuki knelt there for a moment, waiting to see what the Oni’s next move would be. “I did…I mean I do, but the Oni are much stronger than I remember.” She stood and took off running towards the Oni- who was without reward trying to gain access to the giant building- managing to barely dodge punches as she tried to deliver her own to shut it down. “To be honest, I’m not even sure how to stop it.” Ibuki revealed as the duo again were flung to the side as if no heavier than a birds’ feather. ’You don’t know how to stop it! Then why are we here, I thought the whole purpose of this unification was so that you could put a stop to the threat before they put a stop to us?’ Ibuki gathered herself and did a sideways somersault as the Oni made a drive for her chest. “My plan was and still is to slow down the Oni, until I can find a definite way to stop them. But like I said, the Oni are more powerful now than they were.” Ibuki sprang from her current position and called on her old memories to propel herself through the air, spinning her body in mid-air so that she was able to use both of her feet came in contact with the Oni’s back knocking him forward just as her hands made contact with the ground and she ended the assault with a couple of back flips, landing a safe distance away. She was about to go in for another hit when something told her to look over. Standing near the Command Center stood what looked to be a male clad in a hooded white garment. Ibuki immediately recognized the attire. It was the same attire used by the Ninjetti spirits once upon a time. “They’ve returned!” She exclaimed to no one in particular. ‘Who’s returned?’ Sparrow questioned. “Saviors. Saviors of good, and possibly helpers in stopping the Oni.” She sighed in relief knowing that the Oni she was currently fighting would have little chance in winning now. She quickly turned her attention away from the hooded figure, and was blindsided by his attack. Sparrow’s body feel face first into the hot sand. ‘If he’s a savior, why is he attacking us?’ Ibuki still in control of Sparrow’s body pushed up from the sand and spun to face the dual attackers. “What are you doing? We’re here to help! It’s him,” She said pointing towards the Oni, “He’s the one causing the trouble.” She continued to dodge the attacks from the Ninjetti warrior, willing herself not to strike back, while at the same time attacking the Oni when the chance arose. If the Ninjetti warrior didn’t believe her story, she and Sparrow both were done for.

Jay looked at the young woman and then sighed a bit looking back to the two males she had walked away from. She was conflicted rather or not to talk to the leader of this group, and Ajax knew this as he walked up beside her. "It is alright Jayla, you need to get to know your team mates, your leader more so than the rest. Give him your words child" he said knowing what she wanted to say. Ajax and Jay had found themselves very in tune with one another very easily and it was both scary and calming at the same time for Jay.

She nodded her head and walked to Virgil, standing behind him, her brown eyes steady. "Excuse me" she said respectfully and waited for him to turn around. As he did she bowed her head to him and looked to his eyes, "You have a strong spirit and I admire your will, I know you wish to settle yourself, but I wished to just tell you that I know as you led the victory, despite the casualties, I know within me that you will lead us into many more. Do not have doubts in yourself or your Animal spirit" she said bowing her head as she moved to leave him be

Jason was looking out the little window that was provided and he was so happy that he is now apart of something that his father had no control over. Then Tara came at his neck strong “Cool? Yeah two people may have DIED but it better than a whole planet in my words i think we did good for our first time. You need to chill and gather your mind!"Jason said calming down and walking back to the window looking at the pretty view of the Monoith. Greyson then appeared before him and said " Jason buddy you have to have self-control to learn how to stay calm and to not lash out like you just did okay?". Jason just nodded and started to think again.

Virgil listened to the girl's words, with his back turned to her and his eyes gazing upon the waterfall that was miles away from him. As the girl walked off, Virgil began to have vast flashbacks of both him and Taregan as kids. I wouldn't hit him until now, that he needed Taregan to stay with this team, whether if she wanted to or not. Throughout their friendship, Virgil has noticed one thing about Taregan.. And its her strive to be accepted. Once she becomes accepted or apart of something, she clings to it, holding tight.. Maybe because her family was too busy to spend time with her was the reason Tare acted this way. None the less, Virgil was her best friend.. No matter what she thought of him and she knew that he was her best friend too. He didn't understand why she was fighting so hard to pull away, but right now Virgil was about to make a stand and find out what exactly is going on up in Taregan's head.

Standing up on his feet, Virgil looked around at his teammates.. The Black Frog.. The Yellow Bear.. The Blue Wolf.. Finally Virgil locked his eyes on The Pink Crane.. Taregan. He would then proceed to make his way over to her. But before he made it to her, Virgil would walk over to Jason and speak with him. "Jason.. I need you to keep these guys calm.. I know they aren't freaking out yet.. But we don't need anymore people bailing out because of a major freak out.. We gotta keep this team together, feel me? That new chick seems cool with it.. But I don't know about the new dude.. So go kinda talk to him and keep him calm if he starts to freak out." said Virgil to Jason before he gives him a pound. Virgil then continues to walk over to Taregan. Once he reached her, Virgil would stand beside her. An awkward silence surrounded the both of them, before Virgil decided that he would talk.

"Look.. Tare.. I don't really want you to leave.. I know this whole 'Ninjetti' thing and the monsters.. Its major funky.. But come on, we all live in Angel Grove.. This is the capitol for monster attacks.. Its just this time, we've been chosen to risk our lives to fight. Now I know it sounds crazy and its a helluva risk. But Tare.. The city needs us.. Your family needs us.. My family needs us.. Those guys back there, families need us..The ones that died, families need us.. The world needs us. Now I know I messed up with the loss of Ken and Emily. But their deaths won't go in vain. At least I'm not going to let it. Tare you have to stop bottling up so much.. Stop running away.. Stop trying to hide.. Not once have I left you hangin'.. And I never will.. Because you're my girl.. And don't give me that I have a boyfriend crap.. You were my girl before that dude came along. So find another comeback for that one." said Virgil smiling. He would then continue on, hoping that he was reaching out to Taregan.

"Those guys back there.. They aren't going to leave you hangin'.. We are a team. And teammates don't walk out on each other and leave out to dry.." said Virgil. He then walked in front of Tare and looked into her eyes. "I won't back down from you.. Good friends don't do that.. We've all made up our minds. We all want you to join us up there. But you have to make up your mind in here." said Virgil, pointing to Taregan's heart. Virgil then walked past Taregan and up on the Monolith, looking over his shoulder at her with a smile on his face, knowing that deep down, Taregan didn't want to leave the team.

Tare looked at Jason as he came to her and spoke, it took everything in her not to pop him right there, she could visualize it in her head, one nice sock in the mouth. But for some reason she couldn’t bring herself to do it, she didn’t even know why couldn’t. If it was anyone else she would have, if it had been another ground another place, she would have been gone. But she wasn’t acting normally, or at least what was normal to her. This whole thing was changing her and she didn’t like it, She needed to get back to Chicago as soon as she could get the chance.

As she looked out planning on what she was going to do she heard Virgil walk up beside her. Glancing at him a moment she just shook her head a bit

That hit home, and she hated that but for some reason she couldn’t muster up the anger, it just was seeping away with his words and she couldn’t understand why. How did he knew her so well, even after all these years and why did she not want to let him down?

Then turning she saw him looking over his shoulder at her and she sighed with a smirk as she shook her head and followed him back. “Listen Virg.” she said stopping him, “I’ll give this a chance, but I can’t promise you anything right now, this whole thing is f@*ked up and I don’t think I’m the right person for this. But I’ll give it one more chance, oh and it's Crane” she said with a smirk walking past him to join the others*

Carl's attacker hit the ground, though that didn't last long. Quickly the possessed girl pushed herself up and turned to face him. Meanwhile Jenson got hit from behind by Carl. The kick hit him on the back of his legs, making him fall to his knees "What are you doing? We’re here to help! It’s him." The possessed girl said, while Jenson turned around, getting up to deflect another kick. "He’s the one causing the trouble." Both possessed were now on the same side of Jenson and he did a roundhousekick to hit both. Carl stumbled backwards, while the girl dodged. Jenson kept up the attack, while the words of the girl sank in. He noticed she wasn't attacking. "You're both possessed, yet this guy just saved my life before getting possessed. I'm trying to protect him from you while I work out a way to exorcise the Oni inside, may Crysen help me." Jenson replied, just before a hard kick sent him spinning and landing face-first in the sand.

Ryan stood there quietly watching the anarchic scene that was unfolding in front of him. This quintet was going to be all that stood against the Oni, he couldn’t but think the Earth was doomed. Then again how many times had his grandfathers faced the impossible and come out of it flying high. He asked himself what would his grandfather do. Either one. He knew really. He moved to stand just behind to the man in black, looking over at the pink and red heroes.

“SO,” he said hoping to make his comrade jump slightly, “did you ever see the reruns of Moonlighting? I swear them too are living out the parts. What do you reckon? I'm Ryan by the way.”

He hoped the warm smile he had under his mask came out through his voice.

Jayla walked a bit around in silence as she watched the others commune with one another, it did not make her feel left out in anyway, she preferred to be alone, "Sometimes being alone with your own thoughts is a good thing, but remember that you must be part of the team more than just as a comrade in the field" Ajax said to her as she sat upon the ground crossing her legs underneath herself. "I do not see the benefit of having any other contact with them, why is it necessary?" she asked him as she closed her eyes concentrating, "Because as I had to learn, the best way to have a great team in battle is to be a great team at anytime, and to be a team is to be close... How well can you trust someone you do not know?"

Jay nodded in understanding but still felt she may have issues in doing what her animal spirit suggested she do, "It shall take time, but you must learn this if you wish to succeed in your mission"

"So vague, will you not tell me what you know of me Ajax, I wish to trust you but how do I know this is not anything but a trick so that I would agree to this?"

"One thing I know is that you never do anything unless you feel inside that it is what is right to do, that is how ou made it this far Jay, not many could handle knowing so little for so long without the memory of who they are and keep their head about them" She nodded and took a breath,

There was a lightness in Ryan’s tone, he wasn’t taking this new set up to seriously, he was used to life being crazy. He found himself leaning back against a tree while watching the scene unfold. He saw the man in red talking to the girl in pink, he watched as the girl in yellow was talking to her bear, somewhere in the back of his mind Randy Newman was singing as he watched that. Something was bothering him, he couldn’t put his finger on it, he glanced to Jason at his side and he realised what it was.

“Okay Jason question for you,” he said eventually, “what TV has always led me to believe you Americans call a Pop Quiz. Why if we’re supposed to be ninjas are we wearing colours that don’t exactly blend in, with anything, well present company excepted of course.”

'I think its time that you gather your fellow warriors, Virgil.. Even though Keres has been defeated, the words she spoke were all true.. There will be more Oni and Youkai that will be cast upon the Earth. They will also be stronger than the last.. It is up to you, my protoge, to make sure your tribe.. Your teammates.. Are ready for battle at anytime. Meaning that you will all have to train and learn how to solely depend on each other and your skills.. We can't aid you in battle forever..' explained Saru. Virgil's eyes widened for the moment and replied back to Saru, frightened by his last words. "Whoa.. What do you mean you all won't be able to guide us forever?!" asked Virgil, telepathically to Saru. 'Relax Virgil.. When the time comes.. I promise that you and the tribe won't need our assistance anymore.. But until then.. We will do all we can to train you to become just as good as we once were when we walked this Earth as humans.. Just as you and your friends.' said Saru. Virgil was a bit worried, but the feeling soon faded away as he put his trust in Saru. Virgil then fixed his eyes on the scattered team he had. Virgil walked to the center of the monolith and looked at all of them once more. "Listen up!" said Virgil with a firm tone in his voice. He looked around as he now had everyone's attention.

"I'd first like to say welcome to the two newcomers of the team.. I don't know your names yet, but I will find out later and we will talk. Guys.. And girls.. I know today has been one weird ride.. Believe me I know.. I went from workin' at the Juice Bar to seein' a big gorilla save my life to fighting some demon spiders to saving the city all in one day.. I thought I've seen it all after today.. But Saru says this is only the beginning.. From what Keres told us before we destroyed her.. She was just the tip of the iceberg.. And we barely made it out of that battle with just two folks getting killed off! That ain't good.. Now I know you all are probably thinking.. 'I'm gettin' the hell outta here, because I don't want to die..'. But what you don't understand is that you don't have a choice.. We don't have a choice.. You think these Oni creeps are gonna stop comin' to destroy the Earth just because one of us backs down?! Hell no!

If I were them I'd send even more Oni to take over because it would make the job that much easier. Then on top of that.. If you quit and don't have any powers, how do you expect to survive? What? Scream at the Oni until it dies? I don't think so.. Saru says that we can take these guys though.. And I believe him.. I'm not gonna give up my life without a fight and I'm not givin' up none of your lives without a fight either.. We were all chosen for a reason.. Why? The hell if I know.. But there is one thing I do know.. If we stick together and fight as one.. We can stop the Oni from destroying the Earth.. If the Power Rangers can do it.. We can too! So right now.. I'm giving you a choice.. You can fight or walk.. If you walk.. I won't stop you. But if your family, friends, and everyone you know dies.. You have nobody to blame but yourself because you had a chance to make a difference and you punk'd out. So what's it gonna be? Fight or walk? You decide." said Virgil looking towards his team. He then sticks his hand out in front of him, looking at the rest of the team, hoping that they would decide to join him in the fight.

Jason listened as he was trying to capture it all in. He was smiling the whole time Virg was talking and Greyson said " young worrier it is your choice". Jason didn't know what that ment but he continued to listen to Virgil and he asked the team if they were gonna stay and fight or leave and watch people be kilt. Jason pressed through the rest of the teammates and said " i am here to fight by your side man" giving Virg a pound.

Taregan ‘Crane’ Mason

Tare folded her arms as Virgil began speaking, she wouldn’t say it out loud but she was a little proud of him with how he stepped up like he was. Though it wasn’t so much of a surprise because he was always the respected one, but this wasn’t about kids getting along at school or people working together on a job.. This was a group of strangers, teenagers who were suppose to save the world. This was messed up, but Virgil stood there like a real leader and somehow, that made her feel more confident in him.

With him leading them she felt that she could do this too, even though she hated her parents, she really didn’t wish them dead and if she was really meant to try and help save this stupid planet, she didn’t want to deal with the stupid guilt she knew she would end up having.

“Alright,” she said stepping forward, “I’m in, I feel like kicking some @$$ anyways,” she said with a smirk and a gleam in her eye.

Jay looked up to Virgil as he spoke as she stood up, pulling down her mask and listened to him. She had her own reasons as to why she was doing this but she didn’t feel she really had anything to loose. It felt like this was where she needed to be and for the first time she felt she belonged somewhere. “I’ve been given this honor and privilege to become the Yellow Ninjetti and for the one who wore this before I and fell I shall honor her color and where it with pride”

Ryan watched the others closely, he listened to everything that was said and waited until they were all finished. He made his choice when he arrived at the monolith but now his new team mates needed to hear it from him, as such he pulled his mask down.

“So basically,” he grinned, “you’re saying we few, we happy few, we band of brothers, for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother. Yeah Shakespeare got there first. He also said say as you think and speak it from your soul. I’m in.”

Somewhere in the back of his mind he could hear a wolf’s howl.

A sigh of relief came across Virgil as he saw that the rest of his teammates decided to join him in protecting the world from danger. 'Well done, Virgil.. You've completed the first task to becoming a true Ninjetti Warrior.. Become a leader. But you still have much to learn. Its been a rough day, so I'm going to go to sleep now.. I will awaken once more when needed. May the power protect you.' said Saru. Virgil smiled at the rest of his team and looked at all of their faces.. "Well since we're all in this together, how about we grab a burger and fries at Jack's Grill?" asked Virgil.

Chapter II Prologue

1 hour later

The teens are seen all walking together on their way to Jack's Grill. The park lights were beginning to come on as the sun was going down. The teens were all dressed in the clothes they were already in before they transformed into the Ninjetti Warriors. Virgil thought to himself that now would be a good time to start trying to catch up with Taregan as well as get to know the rest of his team now. 'Should I talk to her now?' Virgil asked himself. He then glanced at Taregan for a brief moment and then quickly focused his eyes straight ahead. 'Nah.. I think I'll wait. But if I wait.. She might get mad for me not talking to her.. Man this is tough! Ok, I'll just talk to everyone.' Virgil thought to himself. Virgil then looked to his new teammates and began to talk to them. "Sooo.. Newbodies.. Care you tell us your name and tell us a lil about yourselves? Tare, you too since you're bein' all quiet with the poker face.." said Virgil, chuckling a bit.

Ryan raised an eyebrow in suspicion at the leaders request, he wasn’t used to people addressing him like that. That’s when he realised his team mates don’t recognise him. ‘Man this is a backwater’ he thought to himself ‘I thought they knew me everywhere.’

“My names Ryan,” he said with a smile, the type you are warned about when they’re worn by crocodiles, “and I’m used to being recognised.” He let this stand for a minute before he continued. “And to me we’re all ‘Newbodies’,” Ryan used air quotes around that last word, “so how about you start us off with the ‘lil bout yourselves’ oh fearless leader.”

At the back of his mind he could feel Canis grinning at his backchat.

Virgil laughed a bit at Ryan's comments before he went on about himself. "Well, my name is Virgil Kealoha Jr. I'm from Angel Grove.. Been living here pretty much my entire life. I go to Angel Grove High.. I'll be a senior this year. I also work at the Youth Center, which was where me, Jason, and Tare were before all of this stuff started to happen. When I'm not working, I like to chill at home, watching some TV, bumping some tracks on the stereo, or going out surfin'. I also have a sister.. I'm sure you'll meet her soon enough. I sure enough thought that all of the stuff that happened today was weird as hell and I have no idea on why I was chosen as the leader.. But since I am the leader, I gotta do the best I can.. I can't leave y'all hangin'. So I'm gonna do what I can to make this thing work out for everyone." said Virgil

Jayla -The Lost One-

Jay walked along with her teammates in silence as they made their way back to Angel Grove. Not being used to people as of late, it was not exactly her highlight to converse with these strangers, but she had to try for the sake of the planet and, for the sake of finding out her past.

Jay looked up as she heard Virgil speak and looked to the other young man who she only knew as the Blue Ninjetti and then to Virgil as they walked to the youth center. She listened to Virgil speak and suddenly got a pit in her stomach, what was she going to say? What was there to tell? She had to trust them but... She looked around and didn’t see the other two jumping to say anything and cleared her throat. “I’m Jayla... just jayla... You may call me Jay I suppose.” he said running a hand through her dark hair, “I have been living here or the last six months... I shall be attending school as a senior... and, I shall do my best as a fellow team mate to use my skills in helping you all” she said quietly looking down*

Jason was kicking rocks behind the rest of the team and he had his hands in his pockets. He was thinking about life from here. " Man this is all to much for one person to handle " it started to hit him that the whole earth was on his shoulders. Jason kind of stopped and resumed walking. He was really ignoring the rest of the teammates....

Ryan had to give Virgil credit, he certainly put his money where his mouth was when he was called to explain himself first. Jay was clearly not used to having to talk to people, Ryan figured he’d have to help bring him round. With the grudging respect Ryan was now giving to Virgil he figured he should share a little more too.

“Ok, well I said I was Ryan, well the full name is Ryan Winston, you can look up most things about me on wikipedia but most things on there are wrong. I hold duel nationality for both here and England, but I have a British passport. I’m being hidden out here to hide me from the press. If you guys don’t know my name I guess it might be a fair plan.” He gave a wry smile. “I’m living in the big ranch just out of town and I can’t wait to leave. No offence.”

He watched for their reaction, the smile on his face getting warmer.

Taregan 'Crane' Mason

Tare rolled her eyes a bit hearing the others, mostly with this guy Ryan, "Humble much?" she said with a smirk, her dark hoodie covering most her face that was made up with the dark make-up as before. She glanced at Virg a moment, she knew he didn't expect her to be all nice now because she was part of this 'team' and she wasn't about to try. "Call me Crane, I just moved back here from Chicago and after all this s#!t is over I'm going back," she said looking more to Virgil than anyone else. "Anything else about myself is need to know, and you don't need to know" she said moving passed them into the building.

Jay looked at Ryan with a slight blank look not knowing much of anything he was talking about, obviously he must be famous in something among the world, but no one there seemed to know him so she didn't feel completely out of place. "Excuse me but, what is a Wikipedia?" she asked after she watched 'Crane' walk off into the building.

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

Carl's attacker hit the ground, though that didn't last long. Quickly the possessed girl pushed herself up and turned to face him. Meanwhile Jenson got hit from behind by Carl. The kick hit him on the back of his legs, making him fall to his knees "What are you doing? We’re here to help! It’s him." The possessed girl said, while Jenson turned around, getting up to deflect another kick. "He’s the one causing the trouble." Both possessed were now on the same side of Jenson and he did a roundhousekick to hit both. Carl stumbled backwards, while the girl dodged. Jenson kept up the attack, while the words of the girl sank in. He noticed she wasn't attacking. "You're both possessed, yet this guy just saved my life before getting possessed. I'm trying to protect him from you while I work out a way to exorcise the Oni inside, may Crysen help me." Jenson replied, just before a hard kick sent him spinning and landing face-first in the sand.

Sparrow Moore

“Yes, you may be trying to rid your friend of the Oni possessor, but as am I.” Ibuki explained to the ninja warrior. As he contemplated what his next move would be, Ibuki sighed a bit relived that at least once of the threats had been neutralized; at least for the moment. ‘Why is he attacking us?’ Sparrow asked, as Ibuki once again performed an aerial somersault over the Oni head and making contact with its back before landing on the ground herself. “Have you not been listening?” Sparrow advised in the negative, she had been trying to listen but her mind was too focused on how to get both of them out of the situation without severe damage. “Well, he believes the Oni is still is friend, and I don’t think I can do anything more to convince him otherwise.” As the two continued to argue over the situation, and what to do next, Ibuki noticed the Oni attack the ranger. “Maybe that display of mistrust will pull him to our side; at least long enough to stop the Oni, and for us to disappear.”

Addressing Crane’s comment first, he responded to her sarcasm by shouting after her. “Yes actually,” he smiled, “realistically, compared to what I could say, I am humble.” He then turned to Jay, “Wiki, it’s an info site on what my grandfather calls the t’interweb. So tell me Jason,” he added turning to the dragging member of the team, “what about your story, what do you want to share?”

Unless you just have a major knack for getting attacked by monsters and seeing some crazy 'ish on a monthly basis. And nope Ryan.. Never heard of ya.. Angel Grove's not that big of a city anyways and a guy like me is so lost to what's going on in the world because I hardly watch the news or read the paper. But no matter if you're rich, famous, Bill Gates, middle classed, or poor, its still nice to meet you and I'm glad you're on the team." said Virgil. He then looked back to Jason and slowed down his walking pace to match his. "Jason, man, what's up? Why the long face? You look like somebody ran over your dog or something. Was it what Tare said back at the Monolith? C'mon man, talk to us.." said Virgil, trying to cheer Jason up.

C'mon man, talk to us.." ..Jason didn't say anything because he knew if he said something Virgil would do something stupid to make him smile which he didn't want he wanted to see how long we can do with out smiling..

Jayla stopped short as the others talked and pulled out her cell phone as it had started ringing again, sighing a moment she pushed the little green button and held it to her ear. "Hello,"

"Jayla! Where on earth have you been?! I've been trying to call you for hours, are you okay? Where are you?" said a frantic voice of her 'watcher' on the other end.

"I am quiet well, I will be home at the appointed time. I have met some people and they wish to converse for a time" It was a little strange as this was the first time Morgan had sounded generally concerned. Perhaps because if anything happened to Jay she would be in a lot of trouble.

"I really think it would be best you come home now," the woman said quickly but Jay shook her head even though she knew she couldn't see her.

"I will be fine, the monsters are gone for now. I shall be home later on" she said. After a few more words the conversation ended and Jay put away her phone returning to the others, her bag close to her side protectively*

Jenson Seamus "Jense" Polowicz

The possessed girl said she was in it to exorcise the Oni herself as well, but Jenson didn't quite buy it. Then again, the whole situation didn't make much sense. If you ignored the fact he didn't know about Oni or Ninjetti until a little while back, it still made little sense that two Oni were fighting each other.

Meanwhile the Oni possessing Carl was struggling. From being well overpowered against a single, unprepared opponent he had gone to a threeway fight with opponents that matched his strength, if not exceeded it. If anything, he was being kept alive by the fact they wanted to save the body he possessed. Now, normally he wouldn't mind milking this hostage situation, but there was something else that complicated the issue. His host was not as dormant and broken as minds of possessed normally were, according to legend anyway. This guy was bucking inside like a wild bull. The Oni managed to understand some of his rantings inside. Something about him being a supernatural fighter, but that power was now lost. He didn't lose the mental fibre from being a hero though. The Oni decided the best thing he could do, for now, was retreat and find a better suited victim.

Jenson had gotten up from eating dust. The Oni possessing Carl wasn't attacking him, and Jenson was momentarily recovering. Like a cobra snapping at his prey, Jenson's hand reached out to grab the spirit-like form of the Oni by the throat. Weird part was that it wasn't Jenson doing it. Crysen had taken over the movement. He threw the Oni over his head onto the sand, which was mighty hard landing that way, a couple of yards away. With a burst of speed, Crysen ran to the Oni. The long sleep he only just awakened from left its mark though. He didn't anticipate the effect the lush sand had, and he fell. It gave the Oni the time to recover and flee. Jenson got his senses back

((OOC - I did a few things I'm not sure fit into what you have in mind for the Oni and such, so just tell me if something is wrong. Especially the part where Crysen takes over Jenson's body (I try to make Crysen not cooperate with Jenson properly at the start, where Crysen takes more from the bond than he gives), Carl is stirring in his own mind while being possessed and the Oni being grabbed as he leaves Carl.))

Ryan had been listening to Jayla on the phone, he hadn’t meant to but as soon as one person hung back his pack mentality kicked in to check on them. He waited until the phone was stored away and then tried to draw her back to the group. He tried to do this by saying to her, “protective parent syndrome huh, I know how you feel, at least they didn't send you halfway round the world to 'protect' you.”

Jayla blinked and looked up as she heard the one named Ryan speak to her, "Oh... Um no actually it's more of a guardian making sure her paycheck didn't die on her" shes said and then bit her lip. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, it was disrespectful" she said quickly looking down. "I do not know my parents, Morgan is my watcher until I finish school" she said half explaining. She wasn't sure she should explain her whole situation or not. It was difficult to share things with a complete stranger, but every one was a stranger to her and had to admit it was hard not to share what she was feeling to someone other than writing all the time
