Intelligent, witty and riveting, this show not only delves into the behindthe scenes of the political machine that runs Canada's neighbour, but itgives a down to earth prospective of the people making the decisions, thestrengths, weaknesses and the reasoning that makes them human. I loveshowsthat have relationships, how they start, how they develop, the outsideinfluences and how the relationship weathers all that may render it. Thisensemble show shows us a wide range of people and emotion and how theyhandle each situation the best they can.
the west wing dvd (http://www.dvduz.com/The-West-Wing-DVD-Season-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-p-564.html)Good...for a while
I loved this show during the Sorkin years (Seasons 1-4) but after that, even though I kept watching it in the hopes that he would some dayreturn, it just plain sucked. It still had its moments...well, no itdidn't. I've heard a lot of people try and compensate for Sorkin'sabsence by excusing the final three years and calling them better thanthey were. The fact is, I didn't give a damn about any of the newcharacters, and the old characters were all ruined (especially CJ).

Catch the first 4 seasons if you're new to this show, but after that, just make up your own ending to the Zoey-kidnapped storyline that endsSorkin's involvement with the show, and imagine the further adventuresof these fantastic characters. 9/10 (would've been a 10, but I had totake off at least 1 point for the crappiness of Seasons 5-7).
