Batman - Bruce Wayne
The sun rose high over Gotham City, lighting the dark streets once again. Today however, these were not the same streets they had been before. Changes were everywhere; different structures, different people, and a different world. One structure that remained on the outskirts of the city was elegant Wayne Manor. The sunlight crested over the top of the mansion and through the windows of a bedroom. They reached the sheets of the bed containing the mansions owner and sole occupant, billionaire Bruce Wayne. before the sunlight could stir him however, the sound of running footsteps did. The door to the room burst open as a man in his mid 60's dressed in an elegant suit entered.
"Master Wayne, wake up!! You must see this at once!!" Bruce sat up and cleared the sleep from his head. "Alfred, calm down. What happened?" "You must see the television sir! You won't believe it" Alfred turned around and clicked on the Master bedroom's television set. As it fizzled to life, a news reporter appeared on the screen
"....will continue coverage of what is now our only story. Global chaos has ensued as the entire world's population awoke this morning to discover that their world has changed. People and places completley missing and the addition of previously unknown people and places that never existed before. The world's governments are in a panic trying to discover the source of these seemingly impossible changes while at the same time dealing with the mass hysteria they have created. Stay turned for more non-stop coverage of what could be an un-paralleled crisis in world history...".
Alfred turned back to his employer and best friend to gauge his reaction only to find that Bruce was already halfway down the hall. Bruce entered his living room jumping over an easy chair to more quickly reach an Antique Grandfather Clock. At first glance this clock had a Bat stuck inside. Bruce opened the clock face and grabbed the bat, causing the entire clock to slide aside revealing a stairwell. Bruce sprinted down the stairwell into a large cavern, stll in his bed clothes. "Light On! Computer, initiate a Global Integrity Scan, All Divisions! Scan for any and all anomalies as compared to the last scans on record!" As Bruce said this he entered a side room of this massive cave. As Alfred decended the stairs a moment later, Bruce remerged in a grey sweatsuit, as these were the only clothes he kept down here that weren't made of bulletproof kevlar.
He returned to the computer and his jaw nearly dropped. Alfred had a similar reaction upon joining him a moment later. The screen listed nearly endless pages of global anaomalies from unidentified people to buildings completley missing to completley new buildings and people the computer couldn't identify. Bruce was completley floored....something that almost never happened. It only lasted a moment however, as Bruce's quick mind sprung into action. "Computer, search for any similarities between these anamolies, any pattern that links any of these changes" The computer sprang to work as Bruce used a side screen for a seperate task, punching the keys faster then most men could think let alone type. "Damn...the computer can't find Clark. This could be even worse then I thought." As he spoke, the main computer returned a response. "Alfred, have a look at this" he said reading the screen. "Amazing sir...it would seem that the changes have two distinct atomic patterns. It's as if someone took the real world and another world and tried to put them together. But who could ever have that much power?" "Unfortunatley, I can think of a few people." Bruce began searching for possible leads as Alfred headed back upstaris to make some tea to calm his nerves.

Terry McGinnis - The Tomorrow Knight: What Have You Done Part I
The light burned Terry’s eyes as he struggled to open them, his head hurt leaving him dazed and confused. The last thing he remembered was stopping The Royal Flush gang from stealing something from the Wayne/Powers building and the next thing he knew everything started to go haywire then he awoke. Not much time could have passed as he was still in his Batman costume. As for where here was he didn’t have a clue, he couldn’t recognize anything familiar. Maybe if he got to higher ground to scope out the city he may recognize something that would give him a better idea.
“Bruce are you there?”
The only answer Terry received was static.
“Bruce?”
Only static replied again. Terry let out a sigh and under his breath said,
“Melanie, what have you done?”
Terry slowly stood up off the ground, beginning to feel lightheaded at the slight change in altitude. He waited for it to pass then looked upward towards the sky. Holding out his arms some red material flung from them forming wings and rockets burst from his boots granting him the ability to fly up to the roof. Landing on the roof the wings folded back away and Terry looked out onto the city. He recognized a few buildings but it couldn’t be. LuthorCorp AND Wayne Enterprises in the same city? Terry noticed some cars driving by on a street below, they weren’t exactly what he was used to, and they were old…
“What the hell happened here?”
Terry knew there was only one sure way to find out what was going on, he had to find Melanie.

Leo, Lord of the Thundercats
As Leo finished staring scared to the strange new world he started to re-notice the very light extra weight on his left side. The legendary Clawshield was surprisingly light seeing as how strong and durable it was. He had been given a Clawglove for his right arm with some basic electronic gadgets after his anointment as a Thundercat. But the Clawshield was something different altogether, as he slid it onto his left arm he realized that the Sword of Omens was inside of it. After all this sword contained the Eye of Thundera, a power that could rival most sources in the universe and the life source of all Thunderians that had been sworn into the nobility and sacred order of the Thundercats. With a trembling hand he pulled it from the Clawshield and the Eye responded by turning the background bright red and the eyelid bright white. "I have been waiting for you for a long time Leo." Suddenly the see-through blue spirit of his grandfather Lionn-O appeared in front of him. "Grandfather? What happened to you?" He stuttered in reflex.
"You haven been transported through time and space. It has now been 3 years since Thundera was destroyed and Thunderians and Thundercats were wiped out from the universe. You my grandson are now the last of our race and it is up to you and you alone to keep the Code of Thundera alive."
"Noooo, it can't be!" Leo fell to his knees. "But you told me I would become the leader that would save us all grandfather. Why did you mislead me like this?"
"I have not misguided you grandson! I am a Thundercat, and we don't lie!" Lionn-O replied angrily. "If the Book of Omens brought you here it was for a good reason. Even if you can not yet understand why. Maybe there is still a way to undo what has been done or maybe our race's time was just up. Maybe there are survivors that are hiding from my sight..." Lionn-O's spirit slowly hovered closer to the ground as the spirit realized how overwhelming this all must be for the young new Lord of the Thundercats and with a kind voice it went on. "Time will tell Leo, right now you must remember one thing. You are now the Lord of the Thundercats and as such it your responsibility to honor life by and defend to the Code of Thundera."
Leo sighed as he could see the harsh truth and wisdom in the words of his grandfather's spirit. There was no point in self-pity, he'd had a good life before the attack but he had always known that one day he would carry the responsibility of the title Lord of the Thundercats. He had just wished that he wouldn't have been the only Thundercat alive at the moment. Slowly he got up and tightened his grip on the Sword of Omens as he replied to his grandfather.
"Truth, honor, loyalty and justice! Such is the Code of Thundera and I shall live by it until I join you and my fellow Thundercats on the next plane grandfather! But before that day comes I will rejoice in their company. This entire planet shall have heard and learned of the Code of Thundera grandfather. The Thundercat legacy will not be forgotten, this I swear on the Sword of Omens and the Eye of Thundera itself."
"No less would I expect from my own grandson Leo. But it pleases me that you are aware of the task ahead. Yet it shall be greater than you expect at this point." Lionn-O could not help but have the pride he felt for his grandson echo in the sound of his voice. "These people live by another code. For example the man in this house is a wealthy one. A noble one by our standards...and a champion of justice. Yet he cannot reveal to his fellow kindred that he is a champion. To fight his fight he must hide his face behind the mask of a bat to keep his loved ones safe. And he is just one of many that must hide their true identity from the world."
Leo raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "How sad that one should hide his noble goals. Clearly this world shall have much to gain in learning the Code of Thundera. I shall hide not who or what I am grandfather."
Lionn-O rolled his eyes in response. "Do not allow the pride of your Thundercat heritage to cloud your judgment about this world and it's own codes young Lord of the Thundercats. But you are right on a level, the Code of Thundera enforced the truth from you. So you may never hide who you are or hide behind a mask. But don't forget it also contains honor, loyalty and justice! You will learn many secrets in the future. Your commitment to the truth must not harm these other values of the code. Remember that !"
"Yes, yes serving the truth must be done while keeping in mind that knowledge is power and power can be dangerous in the wrong hands. I did pass my Thundercat training grandfather."
"Yes with the nickname 'smart ass-cat' and award for most arrogant of the year I believe.", Lionn-O replied in a sarcastic tone. "But now to the point. You are on what once was 4th Earth in our star maps. A few hours ago two universes fused together for some reason. I do not know why or how but the man that lives in this house needs to know that this has happened. For he is one of the guardians of 4th Earth. This planet has fused with its counterpart in the other universe. Now go, deliver this information and offer your assistance in these troubled times Leo." And with these words the spirit vanished into thin air.
With a long deep breath Leo scouted the land house. He did not feel much for trespassing on a the land of a man that should become an ally of him, yet simply ringing a doorbell seemed a bit weak to make his first entrance. "Well, might as well try if the sword obeys me." he mumbled as he brought it in front of his eyes.
"Sword of Omens, I Leo, Lord of the Thundercats call upon you!" The Eye lit up bright red/white and the hilt grew as Leo's eyes glowed with a golden glance. "Thunder!" The sword grew longer and larger. "Thunder!" The sword grew more. "Thunder!" Leo raised the sword above his head. "Thundercats!" At this point the eye opened. The red circle with the black cats head now filled the hilt of the grown sword. "HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The sword started to project the Thundercats sign. The Thundercat symbol on Leo's belt began to glow red and Leo could feel the power flowing through him.
The projection did not follow the laws of physics and shine light rays straight into the sky. Instead by it bending down into the Wayne land house's entrance hall at the very moment that Alfred passed through the hallway.
After a small minute the projection faded as Leo couldn't find the vocal strength left to continue the "hoooo" yell. As he cursed to himself that he should train his voice for that in the future he wondered if someone from the land house was going to respond to the calling.

Terry McGinnis - The Tomorrow Knight - What Have You Done Part II
“Everything old is new again.”
Terry let out a slight grunt-like laugh as he considered the irony of that saying. The scenes of Gotham he recognized were at least 40 years old. To him they were anyway but here they were in their prime, some of them only a couple of years old. They gleamed in the sun and stood proudly instead of the dead and decaying ones he recognized while studying Old Gotham back at school. As Terry looked around he should have seen data pop up on his visor, but he didn’t get a lot. Mainly information on the old buildings around, all of it useless. Terry stood on the rooftop of a building opposite the Wayne Enterprises building.
“Wayne Enterprises, every dog has its day!”
Terry knew the best bet in finding The Royal Flush Gang would be to find somewhere with a card themed prize that they wouldn’t be able to help themselves from stealing. And what better place to find information then Wayne Enterprises. With Icarus wings Terry flew over to the roof of Wayne Enterprises and activated his stealth cloak as he landed upon it. The roof was very small as it arched up to create a foreboding spike with ‘Wayne’ written underneath it. Terry began to climb down looking for an open window, which once he had found he jumped through. Wayne Tower looked pretty much the same as the one he knew, well more or less anyway. Terry slowly made his way through the building avoiding touching anything so he didn’t give away his presence which was no easy task as it was as busy as he had known it to be. Finally Terry came to the cleaning closet he was after. Making sure no one was looking he slipped inside and jammed the door. Terry reached up and hoped that it was still there, a small button hidden to all those except people who knew where it was. With a deep breath Terry pressed down where the button should have been and let the breath exhale slowly from his lungs as the wall slowly started to morph.
The wall folded in on itself and slowly began to reveal a small extension to the former cleaning room, a slight smile ran across his face once he looked inside. Just as he remembered, although it had its differences, like being dust free for starters. Terry didn’t use the secret rooms at Wayne/Powers much but knew where most of them were though Terry was sure that Wayne had a secret room he would never know about. Terry walked into the room and sat in a small chair in front of a fairly advanced computer and began hitting keys, finding out all that he could about card themed jewels. There weren’t many to choose from but once Terry saw it he knew exactly where they were going to hit, The First Gotham Bank! He knew they wouldn't be able to pass up the chance to try and steal the Royal Family’s Jewels. Terry inserted a small cord from his suit into the computer, updating it on everything current, including directions to the Bank. The newest entry (although not searched through on this computer) had him puzzled though. Something about city wide anomalies, it was all a little scary, the amount of power needed to pull something like this off was huge. The Royal Flush Gang didn’t have access to that type of power, did they? Terry shot up out of the chair and left the extension to the cleaning closet, the doors closing behind him. Terry sneaked back through the path he came, undetectable to everyone he had hoped although while he wasn’t sure he could have sworn someone named Lucius looked right at him. But he couldn’t be sure. Upon reaching the window Terry jumped out of it and used a bat grapple to swing to a lower roof top where he deactivated his cloaking device.
Terry looked out over the city as more data became relevant on his visor. He looked over to where he had awoken a few blocks back, the area was encompassed with a bright red barrier with the word anomaly next to it. There were a few of these in every direction he looked, some were buildings others were red spheres of emptiness. Terry knew he had to get to the bank as fast as he could.
“Melanie you better not have anything to do with this!”

Batman - Bruce Wayne
Alfred Pennyworth, Butler to billionaire Bruce Wayne, was just walking down the hall from the kitchen back toward the living room. Hearing about the strange goings on had given him a bit of a fright and so he had made up a pot of tea to help steady his nerves. This didn't help long though, as suddenly a flash of red light came into the hallway. It glowed for a second displaying what looked like the sillouete of a cat's head in a red sphere.
*CRASH*
The tray holding Alfred's teapot and cup hit the ground and the pot smashed to pieces on the floor. Alfred grabbed the wall to steady himself and then headed toward the source of the light, which seemed to be the front door. He opened the door to find one of the strangest creatures he had ever seen. It appeared to be a man but also a cat. he was wearing some kind of armor and gaunlets, but the thing that caught his eye was the large sword which held the symbol he had seen in the light.
The man introduced himself and spoke for a moment about his purpose, before Alfred understood what was happening. He debated with himself as to what to do, knowing that exposing his masters true idenity was something he could never do. Instead, he simply brought the man inside and to the living room where he asked him to wait a moment.

Leo, Lord of the Thundercats
After a few moments the door opened and an elderly man was looking rather stunned towards Leo. Leo's catlike vision was not bothered by the limited light that the moon provided or the distance between himself and the old man. Upon first view Leo was not able to determine if this man was a simple servant or more. "He could be one of the noble's advisors or another member from this noble's counsel." Leo thought to himself. "After all it would make sense to send someone more than common staff to answer the Eye of Thundera. But then again they don't know the eye...." Leo sighed as he realized that it should not make a difference if this man was a servant of even the highest noble on this planet, for all life is equal to a true Thundercat.
Leo made a few impressive salvos and flips in the air as he crossed the distance between the gate and door in a matter of seconds. Landing in front of Alfred the sword grew shorter again and he holstered it into the Clawshield that now hung on his left leg instead of his arm. It might have been light, but unlike his Thunderglove the shield hindered the ability to use his left hand.
In a friendly tone he spoke to the man in the doorway. "Greetings friend, thank you for answering my call. I am Leo, Lord of the Thundercats and I have been sent here to aid the noble that resides in the land house in his quest for justice. Therefore I have come to request an audience with this champion of justice."
Alfred raised his eyebrow for a brief second. In the years since his master had become the Dark Knight, many strange visitors had been to Wayne Manor. Yet this one seemed different from all of them. Requesting an audience, that's a new one. "At least this one seems to have some form of etiquette, that's new..." Alfred replied after a moment of silence. "I can honestly say that you are the first to request this. Please enter, I will show you to the parlor and see if my master has time for you."
"Thank you truly." Leo replied as he entered the house. Suddenly his eyes became glued to the pieces of the tea service and he quickly realized what happened. "Did my call startle you and cause this damage?" he asked. After Alfred kindly replied that such things happened often at Wayne Manor and that Leo should not worry about it, Leo firmly shook his head and drew the sword. "Nevertheless I must do what I can to undo this."
Leo's voice grew louder and more commanding. "Sword of Omens, undo this damage caused without knowing. I Leo, Lord of the Thundercats command it!" The short sword blasted a blue ray of energy towards the pieces and a few moments later the tea service stood restored on the floor. "There that's that." Leo smiled.
A few moments later Leo was resting comfortably on a couch, enjoying a cup of tea while Alfred was making his way to the Batcave.

Batman - Bruce Wayne
Batman was in the process of searching the Batcomputer's databanks for information on those with enough power to have caused whatever had happened to the world. Unfortunatley, none of the posibillities would have had a good reason to do have caused this kind of chaos. He set the computer to attempt to find information on any powerful beings from wherever the rest of these people and buildings came from.
Alfred returned a moment later, but without the tea he had said he would bring. "Tea not ready yet Alfred?" he asked. "It is sir, but I'm afraid I have some interesting news. There's a man upstairs who wishes to speak with you." "Someone we know?" "No, sir. He says his name is Leo and that he needed to speak with the 'noble that resides in this land house' in order to 'aid in his quest for justice'. He's very polite, though strange." "Well, that says something compared to most in this city..or what it was." "There's one other thing sir...while he is obviously a man...he also seems to be..well...part cat." "Cat?" asked Batman skeptically. "Yes sir. I believe he's trustworthy, as he could have killed me anytime but instead treated me with respect. He even repaired the broken teapot with his sword somehow." "Really..." said Bruce, wondering what kind of sword could do that. "Well, you're a good judge of character Alfred, but I'm still going to be careful. I'll go up and see him, see what I think of him". "Very good sir." said Alfred, as they headed up the stairs together.
They entered the room and Bruce got his first look at thie newcomer. He truly was some kind of man/cat hybrid, something he had never seen before. The man introduced himself politley and Bruce listened as he told his story.

Leo, Lord of the Thundercats
After a few sips from the hot beverage the noble's servant had offered him, Leo had began to observe his surroundings a bit more. In a way they were familiar to those of a Thunderian household. But the climate was clearly much harsher then on his home world. While he was wondering how many similarities or differences there were out there for him to discover and if he would ever see his home world again, the noble arrived.
Leo rose from his seat and made a friendly hand gesture as he introduced himself. "Greetings noble one. I am Leo, Lord of the Thundercats and last survivor of Thundera." The noble one introduced himself as Bruce Wayne and kindly invited Leo to sit down and tell his story.
As Leo took a deep breath, wondering where to start he was cut of by the reappearance of the spirit of his grandfather. "Mister Wayne, I think it might be better if I did the explaining." Before Bruce could reply the surroundings changed to the setting of the Cat's Lair on Thundera several decades ago where a young Lionn-O used the Sword of Omens to drive back the evil into the corners of the universe, thus saving New Thundera. After that it skipped forwards to the first attack that lead to Leo being transported by the Book of Omens and Key of Thundera.
This far Leo knew the story, but then the story went on after his departure. Mumm-Ra returned, but with countless mutants and Lunatak's armies. It was simply a matter of time. The final battle was inside the core of New Thundera. As Lionn-O fell down and transformed into the spirit he was now, the planet's core screamed out and shredded itself to pieces.
These facts were too much for young Leo and as the images faded he struggled back down to the sofa, biting away his tears.
Lionn-O's spirit spoke to Wayne. "As you can see, my grandson is not in any shape for such a war. As a spirit much more is revealed to me now and I believe the Book of Omens sent him to you for a reason. My race is to end with my grandson, or to be revived by him. But even though he carries the title, powers and potential of the Lord of the Thundercats, he is still more a cub than a cat. I can't tell you all but I can tell you this dark knight of Gotham. Gotham is no more, your universe has been fused with another one. None have died but the planets have been reshaping and replaced. You will not find your Kryptonian friend in the near future and your Green Lantern friends are undermanned to handle this situation." The spirit walked over to the window and looked up to the sky. "This other universe had villains and demons of it's own, just as it had heroes. It will however take a leader to unite them."
The spirit started to float up in the air, clearly leaving the room. "But know that the Book of Omens had a good reason for sending my grandson to you in this time and hour Dark Knight. He is where he is needed yet also where he needs to be to grow to be a true Lord of the Thundercats. He cannot hide like you behind a mask, for it is against the Code of Thundera. But know that with the same courage and dedication that you answer the Bat Signal in the skies, he lives by the Code of Thundera: truth, honor, loyalty and justice. For this he can call upon the Sword of Omens which holds the Eye of Thundera, lifesource of all Thundercats and a power beyond anything you or your fellow heroes have ever come across. It's up to you Batman, to leave the last one of my race to fend for himself, doing so the legacy of our entire race will die in vain or to accept him as an ally in your quest for justice...."
With these words the spirit vanished into the air, leaving Bruce with Leo, who had just recovered from the mental impact of seeing the end his planet and his family.

Terry McGinnis - The Tomorrow Knight - What Have You Done Part III
Terry stood on a rooftop across the street from the bank looking down upon it. A single figure in a black/white uniform stood upon the roof of the bank pacing back and forth in what appeared to be a nervous manner. Terry knew exactly who it was, Melanie or as she was known to everyone else, Ten. Even though she was by herself Terry knew he would have to be cautious. Chances were Jack, Queen, King and Ace wouldn't be far away and more than likely this was some form of trap but it was a risk Terry was going to have to take to get to the bottom of what was going on. Spreading his wings Terry flew over the bank’s roof landing just behind Melanie.
Would you mind if I hurt you
Understand that I need to
Wish that I had other choices
Than to harm the one I love
“Melanie?”
“Batman!” Melanie said without turning around.
“What's going on here? The last thing I remember I was getting thrown around by Ace and then I ended up here. What were you trying to steal?” Terry asked looking over her shoulder.
“This wasn’t supposed to happen; we were told that this wasn’t going to happen!”
“That what wasn’t going to happen?”
“I was going to steal it off them, and then it was going to let me set everything right. I could have my family and most importantly of all I could live happily with Terry. He wouldn’t have the chance to fall out of love with me and you wouldn’t have had to give him that note. Everything would have been perfect.”
Terry put his hand on Melanie’s shoulder and slowly turned her around to face him.
I know I'd better stop trying
You know that there's no denying
I won't show mercy on you now
I know I should stop believing
I know that there's no retrieving
It's over now
“Melanie, please I need you to talk to me.”
“I don’t know what it was, there was something about a myth that it could send someone back in time. The King and Queen have had to resort to being common thugs because of you. They were hired to steal it and bring it back to someone and when I found out about it I said I wanted back in so I could steal it off them and fix some things, right some wrongs. I know it was only a myth, but that’s the funny thing with hope.”
“Hope…hope lies in the future, not the past. You were starting to turn your life around. You got a promotion, why resort to this?”
“Ha! Yeah Assistant Manger of a restaurant real big promo….have you been keeping tabs on me?”
“Not me…”
“Then who?” Melanie interrupted not give Terry the chance to finish.
“Terry did…”
“But….he….” Melanie didn’t know what to say, there were too many thoughts in her head fighting it out. Betrayal, anger, hatred, love, faith and hope just to name a few.
Terry looked at Melanie even though she was wearing a mask he could still picture her face perfectly. Her blond shoulder-length hair he could see blowing in the breeze, the way her lips moved with the black lipstick she always seemed to wear and the promise that shined from her bright blue eyes, all things Terry loved about her and things he had to try and ignore about her. He hated the curse that had seemed to befallen them. And if they were stuck here maybe they could start a brand new life, move somewhere new forget about everything and just be happy. In the back of his mind Terry could hear Bruce’s voice reminding him that he never could even if he wanted to, just like Selina Kyle.
“Melanie, I’m, I’m…”
Would you mind if I killed you
Would you mind if I tried to
Cause you have turned into my worst enemy
You carry hate that I feel
It's over now[i]
A card gently drifted down and landed at Terry’s feet, it was a card he recognized all to well. The Ace of Spades with the spade shaped like a skull, caution went out the window. Terry’s eyes widened as he pushed Melanie out of the way from what was about to happen. The card exploded which made Terry fall through the floor into the vault room of the floor. Terry’s ears rang from the explosion as he looked back up at the hole he had fallen through. Five people came floating down on giant cards, each wearing a black and white costume with a different name or symbol on it. Terry stood up and shook his head to get his bearings and clarity back.
“What's the matter Batman? You're looking rather flushed!” The king declared down to him. “What do you think of this city Batman, fit for a king? Once we dispose of you this city will fall rather easily with some of our improvements since we last met!”
Terry threw some smoke pellets down to give him some time to get an advantage on them, only to feel a fist connect with his face. Ace was towering over Terry looking down at him. Terry jumped up and did a flip using the thrusters in his boots to get some air over Ace and threw an electric Batarang at him which Ace caught and destroyed.
“One of the newest improvements is to Ace, new eye’s he can see the electromagnetic pulses sent out by your suit. Androids really are the best, unfortunately they are pricey but well worth credits.”
“How did you afford that?” Melanie asked.
“My dearest daughter, you don’t think that The Royal Flush Gang would willingly become common thugs do you? No, no, no, no we have had this plan in motion for a very long time now, we have finally figured out a way to crush the Batman!”
Ace ran towards Terry, Terry sent a pulse of electricity to his hands part of his bat suit's defense system which came in handy as an offensive weapon every now and then. Once the two were close enough to exchange blows Terry hit Ace in the chin and then once in the stomach. On the punch to the stomach Ace grabbed Terry’s hand unfazed by the electric current and threw Terry through a wall. Terry sprung up as quickly as he could to find Ace walking through the data on Terry’s visor begun springing up. Ace was still an android and a list of his latest upgrades that the suit could detect began popping up, Ace had a weak spot behind his neck. If he could cut the wires hidden there Ace should deactivate, the only problem was that Ace was quicker then he had ever been before. Terry looked around, there were various machines scattered around the room. Computers, money counters and the like. Terry got a sly smile across his face and turned his suits stealth on which made Ace come charging after him. Once Terry got close to a machine he put a small device which popped out of the suit into it and overloaded it, causing a strong electric pulse which seemed to confuse Ace. While avoiding Ace, Terry moved around repeating the process causing Ace to lash out across the room until he could find Terry. Terry jumped onto Ace’s back and pulled out the wires on his neck which sent Ace to the floor. Terry stood up and turned around to the hole in the room which Ace had thrown him through only to see a new card drift to his feet. Terry jumped backwards and prepared himself, when nothing happened…except his visor and other vital systems within the suit dying.
“That Batman is the greatest card trick known to man. I call it an E.M.P. card, once we figured out how your suit was running it was very easy to craft one to defeat you!” King said out loud as he floated into the room with Queen, Jack and Melanie trailing behind him.
Terry couldn’t see a thing, white ghosting lines were all that appeared. It wasn’t the first time it had happened and was easily fixed, he just needed time to do so. King jumped off of his card which was now floating slightly above the ground and walked toward Terry holding a cane.
“The house always wins Batman.” King said before he started to beat Terry with the cane.
Melanie looked away as Batman had helped her out a few times when she was in a jam, like just before when he pushed her out of the way instead of saving himself. She never would have wanted this to befall him. Terry was now struggling to get up off the ground, and all he could hear was laughter and something that sounded like a whimper or maybe a cry, which he knew came from perfect blue eyes.
[i]I've been waiting for someone like you
But now you are slipping away
What have you done now
Why, Why does fate make us suffer
There's a curse between us
Between me and you

Batman - Bruce Wayne
Bruce blinked several times to make sure what he had seen was real. Granted, Batman had seen his fair share of the supernatural over the years, but this was astronomical. He stared at this young man known as Leo for a moment pondering what his....grand-father was it?....had said about him and his world. Bruce knew what it was like to lose the ones you love anc clearly Leo was feeling the same pain he had when he lost his parents in that alley so many years ago.
Leo was very quiet and it seemed that some of what they had just seen hadn't been known to the young man. Bruce walked over to the sofa and sat down next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Leo....I know how it feels....to lose those you love. I lost my parents....They were killed by a criminal when I was a child. When that happened, I vowed that I wouldn't let anyone else go through that. I vowed to protect them and thats what I've done for years now." said Bruce as Leo looked up.
"Your people were obviously very noble, and I wish I could say the same of mine, but not all of us are good people. There are bad people out there ,very bad. They want to hurt the innocent people of this world and I plan on stopping them, no matter what universe they are from" Bruce said as he stood. "Will you help me, Leo?" he asked and extended his hand.
Leo stood and took his hand and after another moment of conversation Bruce led him down a secret stairwell to the Batcave. When they arrived, Bruce gave Leo a quick tour, but it was cut short when the alarm began going off.
Leo asked what was going on and Bruce responded that he wasn't sure. He checked the Bat-Computer to find that the Royal Flush Gang was attacking Gotham First National Bank. They looked different then he remembered, but he didn't have time for that now. He ran around a corner and when he returned a moment later he was no longer Bruce Wayne. He was the World's Greatest Detective, The Dark Knight....Batman! He leapt into the Batmobile, then paused wondering if Leo would ride with him or if he had another mode of transportation he prefered.

Leo, Lord of the thundercats
"I have been sent here for a reason." Leo looked up into the eyes of the man standing before him. Somehow something felt right about them, Leo didn't doubt the truth behind his words. This man had also know great lose in his life. And the Book of Omens had send him here for a reason after all. This man would be his ally and friend, there was no doubt about it. "Either it is to somehow still safe my race or to be the last symbol of their legacy..I don't know which one."
Leo's eyes suddenly became... older as if he had gone from child to a man... "Either way I serve the Code of Thundera". He grasped the extended hand and stood up. "For truth, honour, justice and loyality!!! I'll stand by your side Bruyce Wayne of Gotham!"

Leo raised an eyebrow as he saw the change in outfit in his newfound ally. Grandfather was right, strange that hero must disguise himself like that, he thought to himself. With a gaint leap through the batcave he landed next to the batmobile, quickly he leaped further into it. He figured there were better moments to test out if the vehicle could take a direct landing....
With a nodd he indicated that he was ready and the batmobile race off into in the night.
"Two things I don't understand... euhm how do I call you when you wear that mask?.... And wasn't that other one on the screen wearing a similar symbol like yours?"
