I was wondering if i can Role play on the Shoutbox when no one is talking on it?

But when other people start talking i will stop.

If people are interested in role playing with me they are welcome.

The risk is that people are discouraged to place a shout while RPing is going on. That way you don't get interrupted, but basically the shoutbox is being hogged by RPing.

I dunno the actual rules about it though.

And i'm not trying to hog the shout box.
Im just trying to have fun.
People are welcome to join me when i am role playing by myself, if they want they can add things and they can have fun with me they can be who ever they please.

I spoke to Mike and he said that the rules pertaining to that are that Role Playing itself (IE - GPR Pulls out power sword and fights putties) has apparently always been allowed and isnt a problem as long as it doesnt go to excess.

What ISN'T allowed is discussion of Role Playing Games from the RPG section, such as asking people to join, advertising, discussing plot and posts, etc.

So what you want to do is fine according to what Mike told me, as long as its not excessive or causing problems of course.

Im not advertising,i think,but people can join me when i am role playing in the shout box if they want to.
