Should Saban Adapt Akibaranger

I've been watching Akibaranger lately and wondering why hasn't there been an adaptation of it. Is it the costumes, is it the mecha? Would you like a Power Rangers parody season? Should Saban do it? Or how would you do it?

Do you think a parody like this would be successful in the US?

Because it's a Sentai parody, not a Power Rangers parody. There's so much in it that makes absolutely no sense if you try to apply it to Power Rangers. Then there's the so little usable footage. Then there's the adult nature of the show. It would not be successful. The one way it could be successful is if Adult Swim managed to talk Saban into letting them dub the series and with their recent reaction to the Power/Rangers video there's no way in hell that is happening.

As much as I like to see Akibarangers get adapted, I believe that someone else should do it. :sad:

Absolutely not. I doubt that it would make any sense if imported to our shores. Then again if it were an original, maybe. But I don't see any point in it actually being successful with how long I watched Sentai.
