After Galaxy we only got a few apearances from Alpha 6 and 7. Why did the franchise get away from using Alphas? Alpha 6 could have returned to Earth to work for Lightspeed.

that's a good question but I suppose they wanted to change things up a bit with Lightspeed and with Time Force you already had Circuit to work with due to him being in the Timeranger footage so there was no need for an Alpha there.

Wild Force didn't need an Alpha since nothing was made by anyone there. The only thing that we actually saw created by something was the Wild Force Rider and Animus made that.

Ninja Storm they apparently wanted a human to be the technical advisor since they were likely planning on him being the Green Ranger from the start.

Dino Thunder is questionable since Hayley didn't serve much purpose other than being the new Ernie. Tommy could've used an Alpha to help build his gadgets but he wouldn't have any knowledge of how to fix Alpha if he was damaged for any reason since that was usually something that Billy did and sometimes Trini.

S.P.D. was set in the future so the Alpha bots would've been ancient technology.
Mystic Force was a magical team so they didn't need robots for assistance.
Overdrive is questionable but because Hartford paid for everything and created everything there wasn't a need.
Jungle Fury... there wasn't a need since RJ made everything that was needed or the Masters gave them what was needed.
RPM was in another dimension and Dr. K made everything.

It was most likely a casuality of the shift to the sentai approach. We are lucky we got him in galaxy. But that was probably because of the Megaship being kept.

I think Alpha needed a break. He was on the show for several years. And he didn't really fkt the future seasons. Lightspeed was more serious of an organization anyway.

Having Alpha for seven straight seasons was cool, but remember, Lost Galaxy was the epilogue to the Zordon saga, and a closing on that story. Having a new tech assisant each season I felt was a cool approach, plus the Alpha suit may have been falling apart towards the end.

It would have been a little much if all these Ranger teams having their own Alpha. Especially since many later seasons often felt not directly related to the Zordon Era.
