Welcome to your interview, King RR! My name is Anne, aka Ranger Red, and I hope you'll enjoy this casual, leisurely interview.

Now, I will be checking this interview once a day at least, usually more, except for next week, because I will going on a week long camping trip from Aug 3rd-10th. If there are any circumstances in your own life that may slow this interview down, just let me know in this thread or via PM.

This interview will consist of 25 questions. I promise you, no personal questions! :]

Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

Well, about my username,my previous username was RAINBOW RANGER, and the RR in "King RR" means the same.
Rainbow Ranger is a character actually created by me, who is the King of Power Rangers !!! :D
And naturally King RR is me ..... LOL

What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?

[King RR]

Hmm.... I remember watching an episode of Wild Force on Fox Kids.
Then I used to watch it now and then. But from Ninja Storm I loved it.
I guess some years later while I was surfing the net on Power Rangers, I came across Ranger Central and got to know more about the earlier seasons and all. Most importantly I came across "Henshin Heroes" and it was the portal to the real PR world & fandom. :)

What made me keep watching the show ? I guess everything. Right from the concept, storyline, characters, weapons, the values that they tought to the uniqueness of the whole show was absolutely facinating !!! :D

If you where asked to be a ranger in real life, which Villain would you want to battle, which PR outfit, which Ranger, which mentor and where about’s would you set it?

Intresting question...

Hmmm, I would fight Flurious because I think he is the very evil, mean and a really cruel monster !!! And it would be fun to defeat him and then see him blast off into tiny pieces !!

The outfit dosen't matter, I would be Bridge, so that I would switch anytime and become the Green, Blue or Red ranger lol :)

I guess I would like RJ as my mentor because he's extremely awesome and he would also teach me great things through simple everyday chores and activities.

I would set it (in the 10 - 15 yrs in future, most propably) in the jungles of New Zealand so I could fight like our Power Rangers !!! :D

Why don't you tell us a little more about yourself? What are your interests, what music do you like and stuff like that?

Hey, Thank you so much for the interview :)

Well, I'm 15 yrs old, a student and I live in India.
I love hanging out with my friends, listening to music, reading books (adventure, mystery, fiction, etc...), watching tv & movies, playing some sports, logging on social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace & Twitter) and PR fandoms/Discussion boards :D
I love eating different kinds of food, traveling, making new friends and SLEEPING :P
Hmmm... In music I listen Bollywood film songs, and they are awesome :)

What books are your favourites and why do you like them?

[King RR]

I like books on adventure, mystery & detective stories, so I've read almost all of the Secret Seven, Hardy Boys and the Sherlock Holmes books.
Some time ago I was reading "The monk who sold his Ferrari" by Robin Sharma.
I've also read a couple of books written by Chetan Bhagat.
Others include the very popular Harry Potter series & Narnia.

Ranger Red already asked you which ranger you would like to be, so...

If you would be a villain in PR, what kind of villain (not any certain villain from the show) would you be? What would be your strategy to be more successful than other villains and beat the rangers? Also, what ranger team would you like to beat and why?

[King RR]

Interesting question ^^

Like some of the villains in PR, I'd be a villain with proper rules and ways and would stick to them at any cost, i.e. disciplined & loyal. Having said all this, I'd also be very evil & give a tough time to rangers :P
My strategy would be very simple, like planning everything beforehand, always having a Plan-B, also carefully selecting my army and removing the suspicious & back-biting generals, etc.
I'd like to beat a very strong PR team which could give great competition, maybe like SPD. Why? Just because it would be fun, we would get to learn new things, and the feeling you get after beating an equally strong team is awesome! :D

Nice answer. ^^ True, back-biting henchmen could ruin even the best plans lol. Also different that you picked a ranger team that would be a competition to beat, instead of a team you don't like that much, cool. ^^


If you could create a Power Ranger season what kind of PR would you have, where would it be set, what year, how many rangers and with which colors? What kind of zords would they have and what would the villain be like?

Oh! The answer to your question is one of the craziest dreams you must have ever heard!
So, its goes like this...

“POWER RANGERS RAINBOW MAGIC” !!! - the last hope...

Rainbow Ranger – King of Power Rangers !!! (yeah, that's me :D)

Team Alpha (α)

1. Red Ranger
2. Yellow Ranger
3. Pink Ranger
4. Orange Ranger
5. Crimson ranger
6. Gold Ranger
7. White Ranger

Team Beta (β)

1. Brown Ranger
2. Blue Ranger
3. Green Ranger

Basically it would be like a season where a very powerful villain (probably due to human intervention in Nature) is about to destroy the world. The last hope for mankind is the "Rainbow Ranger - The king of PR". He has to make two teams consisting of seven girls (team a) & seven boys (team b) each who are on equal positions. Together they need to protect the people from the villains with the help of their rainbow magic, probably set about 75 years from now, and I love the NS zords and megazords, so i'd use them.

I've heard about alot crazy dreams ...and had a few myself, so this one is not that crazy lol. It's a really nice idea, having an all-male and an all-female ranger team, I like it. :)


You said you love travelling. Which places did you travel to so far?

[King RR]

All these years I was in school so I could go on holidays only during the Vacations.....
I've traveled to almost all places inside India!
That took various trips visiting some states at a time.
and many countries outside India too.
I've traveled abroad twice on really long holidays.

My first trip was to the U.S.A & Canada.
I almost saw all the popular places in the United States as much as we could in the time.
Then I most of the places in Canada (mostly Toronto, Ontario & and near the Niagara falls, etc.)
Then just this May I had gone on a holiday to Europe (11 or 12 countries) & Dubai.
I visited Switzerland, France, England, Germany, Italy, Vatican City, Monaco, Belgium, Austria, Liechtenstein & some more ... which I can’t remember lol
Lastly I visited Dubai.

All of it was great fun !!! :)

Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Is there anything you would like to change about them, to make them even better in your opinion?
If you don't have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.

My favorite 5 Power Ranger Seasons :-

1. Ninja Storm

I loved everything from NS :) Right from the theme, the rangers, the allies, the concept, storyline, weapons, zords, megazords to the humor, clones, fights, action, drama, "dude"s etc... lol Everything was awesome :D I also liked the personalities of the characters of Cam, Dustin, Hunter & Tori. I actually relate with them as a mixture of all of them!

2. SPD

Another awesome character, the "Buttery" Bridge :) He's my favorite. I liked the whole future thing and set-up of the season. The episodes concentrated on each ranger separately and there was space was the character-development of each of them. Kat Manx & Doggie Cruger's characters were also played very efficiently. I also liked the 8 ranger team concept. It was like "the more, the better".

3. Time Force

One of the best seasons of PR, I liked TF because of the awesome rangers, story, acting, the message of harmony, hope and team-work, the characters of Nadira & Ransik, very strong personality traits, I also loved the way the season ended, so basically the concept was fantastic.

4. Dino Thunder

Conner, Kira, Trent & Tommy were amazing, though I did not like Ethan's character at all. The team-ups with SPD were mind-blowing. Although the theme of dinosaurs was repeated, it was quite unique and interesting.

5. Mystic Force

The story and concept of Magic in today's world was quite awe-inspiring, the initial part where the rangers don't believe in magic and some of the episodes were quite realistic & could be related with in daily life. Clare is my favorite ally & she was hilarious. MF's ending was another favorite ending of mine, I liked the way the rangers, humans & mystical creatures came together to fight the evil.

Ok, that's it. I also liked LG, LR & JF. :)

SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team of a season? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards, like us)?

[King RR]

I'm all in for a female Red ranger leading the main team, it would be great fun and quite different too! Besides it would also give the very important message of "equality" to the young kids. I think it would go well with all, because it is something new and interesting, it would be nice to see Disney/Sentai do it as the whole scenario is quite different in today's world.

I totally agree. I like what you said about the "equality message" and I would also like to see a female Red Ranger leading a team.


If you could date (or just meet) any fictional character (don't has to be someone from PR), who would it be, and why?

Oh, I just can't choose one, so I'd date (or meet) all -

Kendrix, Clare & Kat Manx just beacuse they are all awesome! :)
I really like Kendrix's simpleness, clare's humor & Kat's personality.
Some other character would be Chelsea Daniels (from That's so raven) :D

If you could rule the world for a single day, what would you do?

[King RR]

Oh! I WOULD ORDER DISNEY TO NEVER STOP PRODUCING & AIRING POWER RANGERS !!! :D

Then, I would work on stopping & curbing terrorism, pollution, etc. and moreover ask people to live in peace & harmony :)
And I would also hold a grand crowning ceremony & celebration !!! ;)
Call all the famous people & my favourites to meet me, give autographs & the King's blessing to all the people lol and totally enjoy my day.... and see my dream come true!

Out of all the Rangers who is your favorite and why what is so great about them? Would you change anything about him/her?

My favorite ranger is Bridge Carson. He's fantastically portrayed by Matt Austin.
He's awesome, hilarious, intelligent, smart, strong, cool & "buttery" :D
Moreover, he's the only person to be the Red, Blue & Green Power Ranger !!! :)
The character is more like a realistic person and I can relate with him in many ways.
Nah, I wouldn't like to change anything about him...

If you could be a member of any PR team. Which team would it be, and why?

I would be a member of SPD, maybe just beacuse it is my favourite team ;)
also The rangers, allies, mentors & villains are really nice & cool !!!
It would totally be an awesome and fun experience :)

Who is your favourite villain in PR and what makes him/her so great in your opinion?

[King RR]

A 'good example' for a villain needs to be have his ideas clear and act upon them constantly.
I personally liked Flurious, though he did not win, his plans were kinda better than others and he also survived a whole bunch of other villains to reach the end.
Oh, and Ransik was a great villain too!
