Personality: Like Wes Collins, De was raised by a wealthy business person, only instead of a father she had a neglectful mother. De was raised by the staff that kept her home standing day to day. The butler, the Maid, the chef, the gardener, the handy man. Thus she grew up without a snobbish attitude, or a need to flex her financial strength, and show off to her peers.
She grew up with no friends aside from the above mentioned staff, her mother didn't allow her to attend public school of any sort until High School, where she attended business management classes at Silver Hills: Golden Minds Academy, as well as political science classes in the same school. Her mother was dead set on De becoming a business woman like herself, and then a politician.
As result of all of this pressure De is unsure of her own ambitions and desires, thus she is very indecisive, and naive when it comes to her skills. She is a fantastic fighter, but she does not believe in herself.
Bio: De was born to a mother who undoubtedly was trading on the stock market as poor De popped out of her. In fact her Grand Mother named her, and partially took care of the infant before returning D to her mother upon being diagnosed with cancer, and dying a year later of a brain aneurysm.
De's mother did not spent much time with her daughter, she spent her time working, partying with other higher-ups and generally enjoying her own life, leaving her daughter in the loving hands of the servants at the house. De saw her mother on holidays, Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, rarely on her birthday.
As a young girl, De would never long for any object this Earth had, however, her heart did ache for the love of her mother, and the love she saw on television that other families shared. Although the butler and maid took very good care of De, they insisted that they would not adopt the girl, all along knowing that she was destined to be something far greater than a rich girl, in a big house, with a snotty attitude.
De spent her childhood, and the majority of her teen-hood alone. Her mother not allowing her to venture beyond the walls of their compound, insisting that the world was too harsh for her precious Deirdre, even though her mother stumbled over her name saying those words, almost as if she had forgotten was her daughter's name was.
Surprisingly the head chef at the compound had been a xiaolin before coming to America to pursue his true passion, the culinary arts. But he saw that De needed something constructive in her life, and a way to release her anger without hurting herself. Because he was a live-in servant at the house, he took time from his days and nights to teach De the xiaolin monk fighting styles, employing several techniques, all of which De picked up on with surprising speed. Her mentor and teacher, the chef begged his employer, De's mother to allow De to participate in a martial arts tournament, however, her mother fired the chef, and banned him from the compound forever.
Without her teacher, and with her mother more distant than ever, De began studying more destructive martial arts, seeking out the world's greatest instructors who could be reached across the internet. With a bottomless bank account De was able to purchase their time, and learn their styles and techniques, via webcam. At last she had accomplished phase one of her plan to escape.
At the age of 17, she attended Silver Hill's Golden Minds Academy, basically a rich kid's school, she bombed out of those classes, and for that became the bane of her mother's existence. De insisted that that the Martial Arts were her destiny, her mother informed her otherwise.
The tug of war battle between De and her mother would come to a head when De snuck out of the compound and to her mother's Head Quarters, there she discovered the Research and Development department, where she also discovered what her mother had been working on for all these years.
There, in the center of a stasis chamber hovered a glowing tiger-themed Jet hologram which appeared to be sleeping, and
beside the chamber sat an airplane joystick themed device, which was hooked up to the stasis chamber, beside the joystick sat a NASA themed dagger, three switches blinking just under the blade, the hilt was decorated to look like a rocket booster. De was hypnotized by the Tiger/Jet in the stasis chamber that was sitting in the open. As she approached the chamber, her right hand instinctively lifted, palm open, as though she were going reach into the chamber and grasp the hologram. A silver aura radiated off of her hand, and the Jet/Tiger hologram awoke. "I've been waiting for you, D.C. hold on tight!" shouted the tiger/jet before vanishing. A moment later a small silver block with a silver "7" printed on either side appeared in her palm. That same silver aura that coated her hand now rested all around her body, stemming from the small block in her hand. The joystick responded, silver aura swirling around it's base before concentrating inside the joystick. Suddenly it leapt into her palm, filling her body with the power of the Wings Clan, and the power of Jetras the sky tiger.
Before De could pull herself away from the joystick, Jetras had possessed her body via the "soul" she held in her hand. Her mind was flooded with information about his world, and the war that was being fought as they sat here today. Before she could ask a question the trance that Jetras had casted over her, ended and she was back to her normal self, or at least she felt like it. Although in her hand sat the Joystick, with the soul block sitting in a small compartment at the top of the joystick. De pressed the soul block inside of the small compartment, and the "Wing Trigger" produced a hologram of Jetras. "Ahhh, much better, that chamber was so tight and uncomfortable. We should leave, your mother won't be pleased with you sneaking out, much less, my going with you.."
Once the discovery of the stolen device had made headlines, De turned herself into her mother, who had put out a bounty on whoever had stolen the trigger and the soul block. After explaining the situation to her mother, and after extensive testing which only yielded that Jetras was dependent on De's chi to operate properly, De's mother conceded to her daughter and sent her to the Ranger Academy, where she would hopefully learn more about the Trigger's abilities, as well as Jetras' power. For now Jetras and De are the best of friends, for now all they know is that De's ranger form can only be summoned when her emotional level is spiked, or Jetras feels that she needs protection.

Fixed! I think. I added in things where they needed to be added in order to make THIS story work out.
I hope there isn't a Go-On Silver..

Unless BlueVoltronranger chooses to be a Go-On ranger, then yes your the onlyone.

SHR, could I maybe reserve the remaining empty slot? I'm just looking over what ranger positions haven't been taken, and then I'll get to work on my profile.
No reservations, the only spot reserved was Juken. But we reserved it for him because he was in the original Academy and didn't get his chance to repost an bio. We currently took back are decision of BVR, and his spot is still open. So you will have to turn in an bio and hope to get the spot like everyone else. There will also be an extra spot opening up sense GFR has not reposted in months. I wouldn't be here if you never would've created this game. So Thank You SHR!

I can't remember but did we give out room mates? I can't remember if had one or not.
I believe we did, but if you forgot, then i guess we can redo it.

I'd do a short plot, probably consist of 3-4 posts that would be explaining why its change, how. and then by then she'd be the yellow JF ranger. That'd be okay with you guys right? I would start it on day 3 and would end in middle of day 3.
Also i think the beginning half of day 3 should be classes and then we will have our first city battle. Although it will only be a battle of putties and a monster and then SDR, I think you will enjoy this. Rangers defeat the The mosnter, but then it would grow to giant size and you could be first ranger to have his zord debut? Then you and your zord would defeat the monster. Sound good?

I don't really mind Ally changing her position, I've been waiting for an yellow ranger to appear in this game. By the way I'm going to have Tyson sit out this whole fight just watch. I think I talked to you about Day Three SHR, Remember the Nero plot I sent you and the Eric Myers secret that no one would expect. By the way I'll take Nero as the roommate.
Edit - Ooh We forgot to mention to Juken that Tommy got kidnapped by Thrax and that the temporary Head master is Leanbow. Which is played by Shadow Ranger. No matter....

SDR: I see that you've taken over as Leanbow, that's cool. I just felt that I should mention that my original NPC, Senryu, was talking to Leanbow and Daggeron shortly after Gobi and Foxono's retreat. Should I re-intro Senryu or should the teachers meet in the headmasters office to hear what Senryu has to say.

Is it day 4 yet? I'm not used to day changes. Lol. The last Academy I was in, we didn't make it past day 1 before it died.. About 35 posts though.. But still.. It didn't make it..
Lol well we are about to start Day Three, and I know what you mean we went through like 57 pages on Day 1.

Ally will be in the battle with her JF cheetah zord. GSR, you will be part of it as well with the dragonzord. :). And I will need one more canidate to join with their zord.

I actually wan to hold off ur debut of teh Brachio because sinse both Mal and Tyson are dino rangers, I thought'd it be cool to have both Dino zords take on a monster. But attacking it with your staff seems 100% okay with me :)

Plot twists are always fun in RPg's with this many people. I just posted her arrival hope it's ok that I had her arrive in the evening. Figured it would give a better idea of her personage and persona by describing what exactly happened when she found out she was accepted.
lets just say the rangers will have someone else to worry about other than Thrax. And Tharx will have to worry about that someone as well.

Well.. Technically they're not 'people' persay. Thus they don't have beast spirits. They just have the suits, weapons, and powers (Flight, Speed, Strength).
I was thinkign we could be a bit more creative. Perhaps you could do a new set of spirit rangers. Thsi time using the spirits fo The Gorilla, Antelope, and Penguin. Thsi way I woudl give you permission to go all wild and crazy with ideas! Make up your own weapons/gear plus, if you do them , you get a megazord.

Okay this si what I propose. You can do this new spirit ranger team, but! But if it doesnt work out, we'll kill them off and then you could do Shark and Elephant Ranger, and this way those two can try to turn tempest's character evil, but will fail. Sound cool?

More information as I think of it. But the outline I have at the moment is that they are each criminals locked away in Japan's largest prison, all are convicted criminals of 1st degree premeditated murder, Thrax homes in on their hate and malice, and offers them the captured spirits of Master Guin, Master Rilla, and Master Lope. They drink a potion made from the Master's divine spirits, and each are endowed with their abilities and beast spirits..

I'm not sure, it's up to you guys, I'm still in search of weapons fitting of their animal spirits, I have a hover board for Master Gwen, beam bow staff for Master Lou, but.. Master Gou has me.. conflicted.. I'm not sure if I want him to have something reminiscent of the Gravit Hammer in Halo, or if I want him to use something like a beam cannon..
Master Gou? Well he has Rillas spirit. Why not make them big Fists Like Jungle Fists! Sist gorillas use their fists to punch and all.

Well, not really, but..
I personally wouldn't mind a little more binding when it came to villains, I'm having a hard time watering down my villains because I know originally they would've mopped the floor with the rangers.. As they were cleaning up the blood bath from the teachers..
So..
I mean.. Again..
I wouldn't mind a little more binding for villains, limitations and such, but you seem to me to be set with your plans of which direction this RPG should be headed..

I think you're doing a stand-up job. Its a very fun Rp that is very open for everyone to participate and help make everything as it goes.
My only critizism for you is to be a little stricter with participation. I think that the game gets going for a while. Then it just kinda dies out. Then it starts up again, but people are missing. Really, I think that if someone dissappears with no word, and causes certain things to get held up, it might be time for them to be taken out of the game. I don't think its fair for someone to just disappear for...lets say a Month-Month and a half, and remain in the game.
But thats just me. Otherwise, great job!

Master Gwen Yellow Hover Board, on the bottom there is a handle located above one of the turbines that aids the board in flying. This rotates counter to the turbines when the board is being used as a weapon. The board can become a spinning board of blunt force death.
Master Lo Laser Bo Staff. Basically a blue double ended light saber. Electrocutes whatever it comes in contact with that can conduct an electrical current. It cannot cut through objects.
Master Go Gravity Fists. Two large metal gloves themed after the Gorilla spirit's own fists. When used these fists disrupt the force of gravity on whatever the knuckles come in contact with. They can collide with a foe and send them flying miles away, or slam into a foe and increase the force of gravity so greatly that they cannot stand.
Morphers: They used the Super-Mode Claws
Master Gwen Lifts a yellow claw theme device with her right hand. She slams the palm of her left hand onto the side of the device. "Endurance of the Penguin!" The claw begins to radiate a yellow aura that flows over Master Gwen's body. That yellow aura solidifies into a yellow and black penguin themed ranger suit floating inches from her body at all sides. The fingers of the uniform tighten around Master Gwen's fingers, the same happens all across her body before finally the helmet locks into place around her head.
"Ancient Penguin Style Master! Yellow Penguin Ranger!"
Master Gwen swings the Ancient Master Morpher upward before resting it on her shoulder right shoulder.
Master Gwen's morphing sequence, they each have a separate morphing sequence..

I just noticed that the one year anniversary of the Academy just passed not to long ago. 8/25/07 was the date SHR created the first Academy RPG. We have seen some new faces join the RPG and join the family and some old faces who had either returned from a long hiatus or just stayed through the whole thing. Ahem....*squeals!* *tackles* SR!! Welcome back! And don't worry; no one has even noticed Elliott's arrival. I only just rejoined the board half a month ago. :D I'm trying to get her back in somehow, but it's not working too well. lol *squeezes SR* So good to have you back, Shad!
Oh my lordy gravy! Elliot and siezen are going to re-enter together, seeing as siezen elft off with askking elliot that serious quetion and then goldie disappeared. This is what I want you guys to do. Siezen you can start doing post for leanbow, but for siezen,elliot,haruka. I want you both to do a time skip post from when your characters went from inactive to now. Explaining what they did and where they went. After that we can go from there ;)
Also 1st period just started. Um Dr.O is going to return and our next battle is going to take place in the city some zords are going to debut. Ally is out on her own little quest to find her animal spirit.
Also hope you dont take this the wrong way..but when you left me/SDR chose nero to replace Siezen as leader and co runner......:(

No problem SHR. I didn't think this would "just pick up where it left off." I can tell you this, though, when Seizen wakes up he won't take kindly to being "forced" to "work for" Reuben Nevan. ;)
As far as Seizen now, I was thinking he'd just be in the Medbay unconscious from the fight. *shrugs* Thought it would be easiest. That and since he's currently no longer the Team Leader, it wouldn't make sense to go through with my original idea of a "retreat" with Tyson.
Anyway, whatever you and SDR decide regarding Team Leadership and Co-GM for this RPG is fine by me. Can't blame you for naming someone to take my place.
So yeah... Goldie, if you want to find Seizen he'll be in the Medbay... unconscious. I plan on leaving him there until I can have a proper talk with SHR and SDR. He'll probably make his return to action sometime around the next fight. I'll just have him go through mystical stuff in his head or something until then. *shrugs*
Okay but im warning you both! Don't drop this lvoe plot idea you guys had! I liked how it Siezen asked some sort of a question and then both vanished it was like suspense. What was elliots answer? Will we ever find out? Find out next time on Power Ranegrs Academy!

Ummm... Golden Storm, I think the Room Numbers are the Teachers' Offices, not their Classrooms. I'm moving the class outside so don't worry about it too much. Just keep that in mind for future reference. ;)

I'm actually surprised GS decided not to come back as Aku. I thought that character was an awesome concept.
