--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. The ‘5 - 3’ Rule -- PLEASE READ! -- All RPG members are to adhere to the following limits. Members may participate in up to FIVE (5) RPG's at any given time. Up to THREE (3) out of the Five may be created by the user.
Anyone violating these limits will be warned by the Staff and action will be taken if multiple violations occur. Please also note that this rule encompasses RPG's of all ratings.
EDIT: Double wanted everyone to know that the "5-3" rule only applies to Active Games; not the Casting Calls. Non-Active Games do not count.
2. No Flaming/Bashing -- The RPG section is for all to enjoy; and for that reason there should be no arguing, insulting, or fighting with other members. If a disagreement breaks out then those involved should settle their problem outside the game via Private Message or an outside messaging service.
3. No Full-Color Posts -- Posts should not completely be in color as this is both disruptive and can cause problems for other members if they are using a different skin than you. However, dialogue in posts may be in color, as may the name of a character at the top of a post, as long as these are not taken to excess.
4. Respect the Game Master -- In any RPG, its creator or ‘Game Master’ controls the game as well as makes decisions regarding member entry and possible storylines. The Game Master essentially ‘owns’ their RPG and as a result they may choose what does and does not happen in said RPG; as well as who is and is not accepted. Please don't argue with a Game Master. If you feel you need to dispute something with them, please do so either in the Discussion Thread or via a Private Message. In the end however, the Game Master makes the final decision on all aspects of their RPG. A good Game Master will know how much moderation is needed in their game and will do their best to make sure everyone is satisfied.
5. R-Rated RPG's -- R-Rated RPG's are allowed, as is swearing, however, if you do choose to use excessive violence or love scenes please do not go into gruesome detail.
6. NC-17 RPG's -- NC-17 Rated RPG's may contain more graphic details of adult themes then an R-Rating, but they MUST be properly marked as such, and due to the rating only members over the age of 17 may join these RPG's. It is the responsibillity of the Game Master to ensure that the members of an NC-17 rated game are of the proper age.
7. No Spamming the Casting Call Threads -- Unless you are the Game Master, please do not post anything other than bios in the Casting Call thread. If you are a Game Master and your thread does not get any hits do not spam it asking people to join. If you want to ask people to join please use the Discussion Thread or Private Messaging. Please do not harass anyone.
8. Advertising Your RPG's -- RPG's are to be advertisied in Discussion Threads, but can be advertisied via PM or VM as long as this isn't done to excess. Using this advertising method to excess constitutes spamming and will be dealt with in accordance with the Board Rules.
9. Co-Created RPG's -- If more than one person runs an RPG, the member who created the Casting Call is technically the ‘Game Master’ and will be counted so in accordance with the ‘5 - 3’ rule. The Co-Creator(s), who may still act and post as the GM, will only be counted as a member of the RPG.
10. Casting Call/Discussion Thread Inactivity Time Limit -- Any Casting Calls or Discussion Threads that have been dead (that have not had a new post) for a period of THREE (3) Weeks will be relocated to the archives without further notice.
11. RPG Fighting -- Any and all disputes between the Game Master and a Member or between Members of an RPG should be taken outside the game. Any game found to have arguments occuring within it's threads will be suspended for a period of TWO (2) Days. If fighting continues then Infractions will be issued, followed by Bannings if need be.
