Am I the only person who can't stand this guy? Theres so many problems with him. The main reason I dislike Casey so much is because he's had a problem with every guy on his team, other Red Rangers have been put through the same scenerios as him and they handled it much better

Theo- I can understand his problem with Theo, but he still never handled it like a Red Ranger should

RJ- The whole "mentor taking over" is so stupid, when Tommy came back in DT Conner accept him.

Dom- He was a complete dick when he first arrived, Dustin shared pretty similar traits to Dom and Shane never had a problem with it (IIRC)

Keep in mind Casey was just a cub when he joined the team, and didn't even want the position as a protector. The other rangers were farther ahead of him. But still, he really should lighten up.

He's trained hard to get where he is. He trust his tiger instincts more than ever. He impreesed RJ during ep. 23. He can be a little high-strung at times but at least he's not as much as a dick Theo was early in the series

Caset isin't the only Red Ranger who never wanted their positions at first. Some examples are Wes, Jack and Nick (i'm sure theres more this is what i can recall off the top of my head). So why is Casey an exception?

Wes was waaay behind the other Time Force Rangers when he first started out too, same deal with Jack, hes had less police training than Sky, Bridge and Syd.

All the Red Rangers have gone through the same thing as Casey, some had it even worse, and I really can't recall any of them acting as much of a dick as Casey has

He's not that bad of a guy. That said, he can not lead a team for his life. It is clear that he is not the leader of this team, RJ is. The only real problem I have with him is that his character does not mature over time.

Depends on how you think the Red Ranger should act. If he's supposed to be a leader 24/7, then sure...

RJ- The whole "mentor taking over" is so stupid, when Tommy came back in DT Conner accept him.

That one I agree with, but it was for one episode far as I can see.

Dom- He was a complete dick when he first arrived, Dustin shared pretty similar traits to Dom and Shane never had a problem with it (IIRC)

Dustin never spattered tomato all over Shane's face pretending to be a health inspector. Just because he likes jokes doesn't make him like Dustin. Even to me, Dom's entrance seemed waaay too bold for a newbie (as in to the team).

I personally don't see what everyone's problem is. To me, he's the most realistic character in Jungle Fury (except in battles, that's RJ). Casey's had his rough moments, but I don't see him constantly brooding like people are making it out to be. Anger is not usually something you'd see on a kids' show, so it's different and it's cool for me because it adds that realistic aspect PR needs. Everyone agreeing and 'yaying' would be way too cheesey.

Wes always wanted to be a ranger, Jen just kept kicking him out.

I still don't see the big deal. Casey is fine, is coming around pretty well and like Titanium Ranger says, his emotions are very real, not that goody goody MMPR stuff

Wes did want to be a ranger, only Jen didn't want him. Jack has some moves, and has seen to be able to handle both Bridge and Sky at the same time. Nick was always destined to be "The Light", but I think he's more of a jerk than Casey.
Like I said before, Casey was just a cub when he became a ranger and Theo, Lily, RJ, and Dominic are all farther ahead of him.

people who say hes a arrogant and has problems, to me i think thios one of the most realistic rangers ever, he isnt all goody and perfect, and with all other rangers having big personalities and his struggle to work his way up from being a cub hes is bound to have arguements with the male members, its what happens in groups and was good writing instead having the typical everyone get annoyed wiv everyone episode, and don't forget theo didnt like casey either, nor was impressed by dom and had theo been leader i sure he wud feel the same

Yea, I hated Nick. He never seamed to care about the others much.

Some of the people saying he is bad because of his personality say that Jen was great because of what makes Casey bad. But Jen was far worse.

I don't know, his little "This one for Chip" line in Soul Spector seemed to indicate he did care.

Casey's personality? What personality?
-----------------

Anyway, I'll explain why I voted "No, I can't stand him." I problem with Casey is he a little bitch who whines over crap that doesn't matter in the long run. He just whines whines whines. And he's not whining, he's either being a jerk or just... there. The only time his whining was justified was in WTTJ and SotT. First he whines about not wanting to be a protector, fine. Then he whines he's not strong enough, Okay I feel him, I understand. Then he refuses to coroporate with the others in firing the Claw Cannon just because Theo called him, "a cub." He refuse to give Josh his quarter back when he didn't get what he wanted and then told him so black-and-white of how your only a good guy and a bad guy. He whine about the others having Masters and he didn't, hurting RJ's feeling. He whines about RJ trying to take his spot as Team Leader when all RJ was doing was the same thing he's done all season: mentor the rangers. He gets angry at Dominic for accidently knocking his morpher in the trash when it was his own fault for not having it on his person. Ugh.

You answered your own personality question, and yes he is a dick, but he has more going for him than any other ranger disney has come out with lately. You are letting your own feelings blind you to how real of a character he is.

I admit I worded ther whole Nick thing, but I think if you take a look at him you can see he is just selfish.

Wow, I respectfully disagree. Casey very bland, basic really. He's just a bland generic guy. Theo and Lily should more personality in the first few minutes we meet them then Casey has all season long. And there's no way Casey's "real", no way, Conner was more real than him.

I just don't see Casey as a jerk, not at all. Just because he doesn't take things lying down and isn't a okey-dokey ranger doesn't make him bad. If it were up to RJ, Casey wouldn't have the shark sabers. I find that his "complaining" shows that he cares about what he does as a part of JF. He's become more intune to his Tiger Instincts lately and has come into his own. I'm over that mess

Conner was the biggest jerk, an honest jerk but he makes Casey look tame. Casey's still not a jerk to me. Sky was the same way, so was Taylor when a new leader was brought in
