Welcome to your interview Question, thank you for your time. This interview will consist of 25 questions.

It should be completed in round about a week, but at the same time there are a few situations that may cause delay in completion. These situations include school, work, family events, emergencies, computer problems, etc. If one occurs just let me know through this thread or via Private Message, and we can continue this interview on a later date. I will let you know if anything in my life comes up as well.

Note that personal questions will not be asked in this interview.

I think I have covered everything so let us begin.

Your username; can you tell everyone the origin of your name? How you came up with it? Does it have a meaning to fan fic, or character you made up, or someone in Power Rangers?

Question

Nah, it's non-PR related. I fell in love with Question when Justice League Unlimited was still airing, and between that and his awesome comic book appearances, I decided to use him as my moniker when I joined Rangertalk.

So that's where you got it from! :p Really cool! ^^,

Name your top 5 favorite seasons of Power Rangers. Why are they your favorites? Did you like the villain's for these seasons? Is there anything you might slightly change about it?
If you do not have a top 5, list as many of your favorites as possible.

Question

The answer to this question, or variations thereof, seriously change every time I answer it. I know I posted a list a little while ago ranking all of the seasons, so except for the top spot, this will very likely be different.

I'm also too lazy to write a thesis on my reasons for choosing these, so quick and easy is the way to go.

5. Power Rangers Dino Thunder
So cliche, yet so delicious. If only Tommy had a better character arc between Turbo and DT than 'I gave up racing and decided to become the world's foremost authority on dinosaur-related magical spandex instead'. The fanon for his backstory is pretty much the entire reason I put this here.

4. MMPR Season 3
It had ninjas. I don't need anything else.

3. Power Rangers Ninja Storm
See above.

2. Power Rangers Turbo
Only the second half, though. First half, I can take or leave, but the second half was all sorts of gangbusters. If the first half had been as good, then this would be my number one spot, no contest. Why do I like this? Hey, you know those guys who saved the universe over in Space or something? Yeah, they got their start here. Their awesome start.

1. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
There are so many reasons. I love the heroes. I love the villains. I love the suits. I love the zords. American Power Ranger. Lesbian undertones. Happiness overload! There's exceedingly little bad I can say about this season.

Good to see a non-mainstream answer! :p And glad to finally see someone who likes Lightspeed Rescue! I love that season!

And turbo wasn't that bad either! =D

If you could be a Power Ranger for a day, which one would you be and what would you do with your ranger powers?

Question
07-28-2009, 07:21 PM
So many people give Lightspeed crap, and I never understood why. It has pretty much everything I love about PR, and Carter still ranks as my favorite Ranger ever.

But I digress. ^^

I want to be a good guy and say I'd save the world with my Green Ranger powers and Dragonzord, but I'd probably use the powers for personal gain. I wouldn't, like, murder anyone or anything like that, but I'd go around to bars and bet people a thousand dollars that I'm a Power Ranger, stupid stuff like that. I suppose if an evil space alien was attacking that day, I'd find the time to shut them down too.

Neither did I! Seriously, Lightspeed is really awesome. I don't really see what people dislike so much about it.

Lol sounds like an awesome way to spend your day with ranger powers! :p

Do you watch any Sentai? If so do you like to watch some before a new season of PR starts? Which Sentai seasons have you seen? What is there about Sentai that you like that you wished they would do in PR?
If you have not seen any Sentai, would you like to? If not, why?

Question
07-28-2009, 07:31 PM
The only Sentai I've ever seen was the first episode of Megaranger. I might start, though, what with PR's cancellation on the horizon. I was briefly tempted to adapt a season of Sentai to PR in a manner similar to Joe Rovang's Power Rangers Take Flight, but I don't have nearly the attention span, as my two started-and-never-finished fanfics will attest to.

Ah I see. :p Did you enjoy that one episode? :p

What is the earliest Power Rangers memory you have? Was it watching the show? Getting some PR merchandise? What was it that made you keep watching?

Question
07-30-2009, 02:04 AM
I remember being but a wee lad, watching the Green Ranger tear some shit up in the first season of MMPR over my grandparents' house. Man, the Green Ranger was cool. And his zord! Sweet!

Years later, I would learn the folly of that opinion as I learned that the true definition of badass started with C and rhymed with Smarter Grayson. :D

Haha! Wooh! I love Carter! =D

SPD gave us our first female red ranger, yet she was evil. What are your thoughts and feelings of having a female red ranger leading the main team? Leading the side of good. What are your thoughts and feeling of having a female lead the main team for an entire season? Would you like to see another female red ranger? Do you think having one would go well with the fans? Do you think it would go well with the marketed audience (little kids)? Do you think it would go well with hard core fans (members of discussion boards)? Do you think Disney should make the next red ranger female even though in Sentai the ranger is male? Do you think they should wait for Sentai? Explain.

Question
07-31-2009, 10:54 PM
I don't judge people by the type of genitals they rock. Having a female Red Ranger means little to nothing to me, and even the little is only if she's physically attractive. It's just a gender. I'm against making someone a female just for the sake of making them female, but with the right character, sure.

I can't say how well it'd go over with people who aren't me. I suppose the older fans online might be okay with it, but as it's a show marketed toward boys ages, um, something like 8-12, I think those kids would prefer a male leader.

Did you like the fact of the original rangers leaving? Did it make you sad to see them go? Or were you happy about it? What did you think of the replacements? And what did you think about the rest leaving in later on in Turbo? What are your thoughts about this?

Question
08-01-2009, 10:34 PM
Honestly, I don't remember how I felt when Jason and co. left. I was pretty young. I imagine that if I had any strong feelings, the way I did for Green with Evil, that I'd remember them, so I must not have had any. :/

The Turbos, though. I was sad when Tommy and co. left, sure, but their leaving marked the beginning of the best part of Power Rangers for me. I adored their replacements, and all the stories they were in.

We're two about that one :p

What do you think about PR romances? Are there any PR romances you didn't like?
