Power Rangers: The Evil Returns
Bare with me, I haven't tried this in awhile.
Setting: 2013
Angel Grove, Silver Hills, Reefside, any town where Power Rangers once protected the innocent people of the world.
The Story:
Years ago, after the triumph of the Space Rangers, most of the pre-existing evil in the universe was either destroyed or converted into good. Unfortunately this change came at a great loss, the cost was the life of a great hero, Zordon.
What no one knew was that Zordon was the only one capable of creating such a drastic change. Before his own demise, Dark Spector had made precautions for such an event like Zordon's death. Now, after years since his death, something disturbed a universal toxin created by Dark Spector thousands of years ago, undoing all that Zordon's sacrifice created. That's only the tip of the iceberg.
The Mystic Mother was converted back into Rita Repulsa and a small time archeologist was changed back into the dark master, Lord Zedd. They formed a new twisted alliance and became the figureheads of the monsters who now stood in the way of peace. Their first target?
Aquitar.
With far less fighting force, the Alien Rangers and Billy were defeated and forced to flee their home before the planet was overrun. With nowhere else to go, they returned to Earth and track down Doctor Tommy Oliver. Immediately after, Tommy begins recruiting rangers of the past to respond to the new evil army, with his and Billy's knowledge of the Morphin' Grid, they have the ability to give power to any former Ranger their powers back.
Tommy looked to find his personal team of the past, the Dino Thunder Rangers, but he met a dead end with his first try, Conner McKnight was nowhere to be found. Still, with no time to waste, Tommy had to put his search for Conner on a back burner. He was so busy preparing for war, he never even noticed the theft of his Green Power Coin and Morpher.
Still, the forces of Evil will not relent, war is coming, the battle lines are drawn, all the Rangers can do is wait for the first shot to be fired.
