Introduction

It's the year 2009. After the Jungle Fury Rangers defended the Earth from the mighty evil being Dai-Shi the planet was saved. But this was only the calm before the upcoming storm...

Some months later there were signs of a new, serious crisis: The planets Aquitar and Triforia got invaded by unknown alien forces and even their defenders, the Aquitian Rangers and the Gold Ranger, weren't able to stop them. On Earth a dangerous and powerful syndicate, the Shadow Realm, appeared and gained much influence on some nations, companies and other organizations.

In the same year, the archeologist Dr. Vincent Bricks discovered three strange glowing gems and a stone plate in an ancient underground temple in Greece. He figured that they were more than just usual relics and brought the gems and the plate to his office in Bayview, a coast city in California close to Angel Grove. Dr Bricks was able to translate the stone plate. It said that those three gems are Mythic Gems, created by gods and containing the powers of mythical creatures.

Dr Bricks figured that the Shadow Realm is a quite big threat for the Earth and that they probably work for some dark powers. So he asked his old friend Karen Langston, a quite young and very rich former British agent to help him creating ranger technology and assembling a team to use the Mythic Gem's power to defend the planet.
