Story:
years has past in Angel Grove since Lord Zedd and Rita was trying to rule the world now some time later Thrax son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd returns along with Goldar and threatens the world and Sintenial Knight arrives and some how revives Zordon and Zordon and Alpha calls on Tommy and Kimberly's daughter Abigail to help choose new rangers to take on the forces of darkness. Also Abby and the gain meet the Late Ernie's neice Miranda Johnson who is now the new owner of the youth center. Later the rangers meet 2 new rangers that joins the gain on their journey to defeat the darkness and save the world. Meanwhile Thrax threatens another planet along with Earth and the rangers must call on help to help them save the 2 planets but who will they call for help.
Later Lord Zedd returns to the evil and takes the throne with his son Thrax and later challenges him for leadership but who will win and what will come of Earth. Also to come a new evil emerges and threatens to take over Earth and the rangers must gain new powers and goes on a mission to gain these new found powers but will they be enough or will Darkness forever rule the planet. Also the rangers gets a surprise visit from the son of King Dex the former masked rider and the son has the new masked rider powers and helps them on a dangerous battle againest the dark forces. Finally the rangers takes on Thrax and the dark forces for one final battle but who will win the war the rangers or the dark forces?.
