It came down to Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, and Justin Timberlake. I think they made a nice choice.

Out of those three, it was the right choice.
Overall, not so much.
Assuming the movie stars Hal, anyway. I suppose Ryan could play a decent Kyle.

I just hope this doesn't affect the Deadpool movie that much.
How did Justin Timberlake even get involved in this in the first place?

Not to drag this offtopic, but I still don't think we NEED a Deadpool movie.
I think it'll be good. Especially when he breaks the fourth wall.

These choices suck.
Reynolds would make an awesome Green Lantern, my only question would be whose writing the script for the movie?

Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Michael Green.

He was probably a fan and auditioned for the role. He is a decent actor but in my opinion, he's too commercial. Ryan isnt known by as many as Justin is. It probably won't affect the Deadpool movie. He would probably spend more time doing that than Green Lantern. He said he prefers Marvel over DC anyway.

I read about a summary of the script. It sticks to the story to some degree and some parts are straight out of the Emerald Dawn series.
But yeah it's for sure that he's playing Hal Jordan, not Kyle although he would be a decent Kyle too.
This is actually going to piss off alot of black people because, I've talked to alot of them that don't know about comics and they think that John Stewart is the MAIN Lantern so they'll think that they were racially descriminating the role, when in fact Hal Jordan is the most popular of all of the Lanterns ever chosen. It'll cause some controversy, thats for sure. (BTW I am black so don't think I was being racist by saying "them")
