Transformers - Next Generation

Ok, so my idea is this. Each character would be a Transformer, OBVIOUSLY! Autobot or Decepticon. But, with a difference. Each Transformer would possess a special device that allowed them to become human. So, they'd be able to disguise themselves as cars AND humans. In their human form, they'd lead secret lives, and have a device like Ben 10's Omnitrix which would allow them to transform back to their Robot OR car form. For example, my character would be Hot Rod. His human name would be Nick Rodderick (Get it? I put Rod into his last name). He'd be able to hide easier as a human than as a giant robot. Plus i think it would make an interesting RPG. I'm still workin out the bugs but what do you guys think?

Ehh.. I don't know.. We'd be some awfully big humans.. Lol. How about you could both have a human counterpart and a Transformer?

I'm on board for ANY transformers RP, but what if you were a transformer and a human you were guardian of. Autobot or Decepticon, you controlled the human and the transformer. or just have autobots with the humans, and if your a Decepticon you just control the transformer? just ideas, I'll send a bio to whatever you roll with

Well, they could just, turn into humans for a story arc.
Lightning strikes them, or the all spark is struck by lightning, and their scanners turn on, scanning a group of humans. Depending on the gender of their spark they turn into humans, the looks of the group they scanned randomized to make a new person.
Sort of like when Scourge scanned Optimus, the tanker truck, and the woman inside of the tanker. (Robot in Disguise), only more to the human side of it.
Then it becomes a quest to survive as humans, and figure out how to turn back into AutoBots, while also battling the Deceptimen, who have also been turned into humans.

Hmm, i was thinkin about the Guardian idea as well. I think that would be a better idea overall. The whole Transformers being human/robot/car might get confusing. Ok, so the Transformers would each pair up with a human to form a team (1 person + 1 Transformer). I'm still workin on the story arc at the moment. I'm thinkin of usin Galvatron rather than Megatron btw

Awesome!! Galvatron is a good choice! question, do you want us to be existing Autobot/Decepticon or can we create our own??

I think it would be best to use existing Transformers, but we'll make our own human character

Actaully Transformers turning into humanlike lifeforms is nothing new. Look at Super Godmaster force. The transformers disguised themselves as humans or pretenders and they had watch like devices they used to return to robot mode. The decepticons on the other hand became pretender monsters.

I assumed we were talking original Transformers so Dinobots would be open but no Maximals or predacons, at least that was what I figured, what does the fearless leader say?? (GR4L looks at DTGR)

Hmm, i think we'll stick with the Guardian idea. As for the Dinobots, i'll think about that. I'm hopin to work out a decent story for this by next week. I'm thinkin of havin 10 rolls available (5 Autobots/5 Decepticons) :D
