Rate this Power Up: The Dragon Shield

I figured since their has been polls lately we will rate power ups. I will not include battelizers, just the power ups that mostly all the main rangers receive. I was thinking about starting this with the metallic armor. since Jason and Zack both used the sheild at one point. That counts as a power up.

Your thoughts?

I'd give this a 3.

I never really viewed the dragon shield as a true "power up" because it belonged to Tommy, and I see it more like a weapon that he leant out. But, it was still really cool. Hence, 3.

Obviously if Disney had made MMPR at the time, or if Super Sentai begun even further in time than it did, and thus was more sophisticated when it made Zyuranger, hence when Disney adapted it after, then after Tommy left, he would let his shield be used by the other rangers, Jason would use it, Zack would use it, but then while Jason uses it one time, something happens concerning Disney plotdevices (sorry, willpower ;)) and Jason gets this massive godmodded boost and becomes a fully battlized Red Dragon Ranger through this "mysterious will power".

I'm sort of glad they didn't do that.

I liked it how it was really, even if Jason only used it to it's full potential only twice.

After The Doomsday, Jason never used it ever again.

In fact after The Doomsday, the rangers barely used Dragonzord, Titanus or the Ultrazord much again either till Tommy's return.

Other then Jason I thought it was cool how Zach used it even if it was for a minute or two.

I have to agree with the post that says the Dragon Shield is more a weapon than a power up. And its really cool. But to say its a power up you have to bring in Tommy's Tiger Shield and the Gold Ranger Shield as power ups. Can you live with that? I can't!

I liked it but when tommy had it it was never shown to aid in any way. Never saw zack with it :(

Gold ranger and White tiger shields weren't given to anyone else to use, hence Dragon Shield is a power up, and I'll give it a 5, (not for effectiveness) but out of coolness! But there have been much more effective power ups.

Ah I remember Zack getting it once, and Jason but thats it. I would have loved to see the girls try it XD

As a power-up, it's rather not much of a bonus. A little extra damage resistance is all.

But, I rated 5 because Tommy was the original owner.
