Origin of Ranger Powers

Instead of thread-jacking the Ancient/Organization thread, I'm going to make a new one here.

The Rangers Strike card game has a neat organizational system for the different origins of the various Ranger teams. So, the question is, what origin do you prefer? I'll define them all first:



Wild Beast: Powers come from nature, animals, or monsters.
MMPR S1 & 2, WF, DT, JF

Earth Technology: Powers arise from present-day technology made on the Earth.
Zeo, LS, OO

Over-Technology: Powers come from extraterrestrial, other-dimensional, or futuristic sources.
MMAR, Turbo, IS, LG, TF, SPD, RPM

Mystic Arms: Powers come from supernatural or paranormal means, and also includes ninjutsu.
MMPR S3, NS, MF

[Question]

Shouldn't MMAR be under the same category as MMPR?

Actually, I think Kakuranger was listed in Mystic Arms. I think it qualifies as OT since they are aliens. It could swing either way. Like Turbo could be Earth Tech.

Depends. Sometimes they mix together. But I prefer Wild Beasts and Mystic Arms.

And I think this would be more appropriate classification:

WILD BEASTS:
Mighty Morphin S1, Lost Galaxy, Wild Force, Dino Thunder, Jungle Fury

EARTH TECHNOLOGY:
in Space, Lightspeed Rescue, Operation Overdrive

OVER TECHNOLOGY:
Turbo, Time Force, SPD, RPM

MYSTIC ARMS:
Mighty Morphin S2-3, Zeo, Ninja Storm, Mystic Force

Well, after looking at the wikipedia article this only applies to the sentai counterparts, not the PR teams. This could change a lot of the categories.
Example: I think Power Rangers would place Zeo in the Mystic Arms or Wild beasts department.

When you think about, Zeo is kind of a mystic arms because of the origins of the Zeo Crystal.

The engines came from another dimension makeing it overtech for Go-onger.But RPM is earth based.

By that same token, since RPM takes place in the future, that places in in overtech as well.
