As you know the Power Ranger's Universe has quite a few Unanswered questions. here are some of them:

- Where were Ninjor and Prince Gasket during C2D?

- A Monster from the Dairanger Movie was supposed to appear on Power Rangers,but he never showed.What's the story behind that? BTW,It was the Jester-like monster.

- What's the Real deal with Zyu 2 monster,Pythor? Was he a Zyu 2 monster or just an extra Toy,

- Was Saban Really considering on using the 5 main Dairanger costumes in Lost Galaxy? For another set of Rangers that is.

- What ever happened to Lord Zedd after C2D? We already know what happened to Rita,but what about Zedd?

- What's the History between Zordon and Zedd?

Zedd was shown being turned normal just like Rita, but then he disappears. Rita became the Mystic Mother but what happened to Zedd, who knows?

Well I guess in the super legendz video game, Zedd was an archiologis and he found something to restore his former power. SO he became evil again and then the rangers defeated him though. Canon is questionable though.

Ninjor was back in his temple where he (Presumably) still lives.

While Gasket didn't appear like Rito it is suggested they were still both have been destroyed.

What about Auric? What the hell happened to Auric? This has always irritated me. A great team up or anniversary idea would be to have Auric reappear, and past rangers returned to help fight for control of him.

My theory about Auric is that he's sitting in Andrew hartford's house with the rest of his antiques. Either that or a museum.

Wherever the hell Rito, Baboo, Goldar, Finster and Scorpina were.

This is a mystery.

I mean there were 25 monsters for the zyu2 footage, however the toyline dictated there was a 26th, Pythor.

Being part of Bandai's zyu2 toyline, Pyhtor is assumed to be a zyu2 monster, but hasn't appeared in ANY footage at all. Strange that Saban would pay for the costume from Toei yet never use it, it also makes you wonder whether the footage WAS filmed but just not aired... and if not, why?

Some sources tend to think that the suit may have been damaged travelling from Japan to America, to the point of being unusable.

Another idea is that the zyu2 footage in Japan of Pythor fighting were short and dull, and not deemed worthy of being of much use in action. Possibly the suit was already falling apart before shipping, hence why the scenes in Japan were not all that thrilling and energetic.

What about the zord footage of Pythor though, with him fighting Daijuujin (Zyuranger/MMPR1 Megazord)


Well, being MMPR2, and with the Thunderzords being used, alot of Zyu2 and Dai footage had to be spliced to show Zyu2 monsters battling the ThunderMegazord INSTEAD of Daijuujin.

Most likely, the zord battles may have had Pythor in too much contact with the zord, making splicing extremely difficult due to the two sharing the screen too much.

Or maybe the finisher on Pythor wouldn't make the Thunder Sabre footage look realistic. Since for zyu2 they obviously have Ultrazord (direct gattling fire), the Dragonzord Battlemode (drill), or MegaDragonzord (massive ki blast) as well as Megazord (sabre swipe). The style of finisher may not have been realistic to the ThunderMegazord using a sabre, since (at that time in MMPR1) it was the only finisher apart from Red Dragon Thunderzord jumping off the Thunder Assault Team and using his staff... but then, they'd need pure Dairanger footage to pull that off.

Let's take a better look at Pythor ourselves.

Z shield?

What does the Z represent?

Zyuranger? Or Zedd?

Lord Zedd makes more sense, why would it stand for Zyuranger?

Because it's from Zyu2 footage obviously, yes no? NO. Why would an evil monster represent the good guys on his shield? Think about this, why on earth would it do that?

So the Z must be Lord Zedd... but wait, Pythor was apparently made by Toei, why would it represent a US exclusive villain? Unless it was never going to be used for zyu2 footage and was meant to go straight to the USA for filming? But Toei knew Saban was copying their footage, it was in the contract.

Seems a bit strange, and as of now it appears to be a total mystery.

Yes.

I heard that because the actor who played Kendrix (Valerie Vernon) was diagnosed with leukemia, that her leaving led to them having to cut out most of their original plans for Lost Galaxy.

Might be wrong though.
