which ranger color is most overlooked

Well technically, it's probably orange in all honesty.

But besides that, I say green.

Pink Rangers usually get alot of focus, Jen being leader, Kim being a senior member throughout MMPR2 and MMPR3 then having the Power Transfer to Kat, Karone sacrificing her life and passing her powers onto Karone (a former villain), Cassie having somewhat chemistry with the Phantom Ranger (I mean seriously, isn't he supposed to be an android or something?), Vida pretty much befriending one of the Ten Terrors and saving it from evil. Hell, I could go on.

Black Rangers in core teams are becoming somewhat of a rare thing. When they do, they get significant focus. Adam (too much if you ask me, for stuff he didn't even do too), Will, Zack... Tommy in DT I guess (even though he wasn't core). And other Black Rangers who are extra Rangers always get fancy names, Phantom, Shadow etc.

I'll agree with yellow though, to be honest.

Most male yellow or male green Rangers are treated like comic relief, and then outcasted, unable to really prove themselves because of their label.

Most yellow Rangers are also quite reserved and in the background an awful lot. Then even when they try and be forward, their Ranger colour won't let them, because it seems somewhat odd for a Yellow Ranger to take a lead. Same with green too.

Out of the main colors(Red, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Black, Green), Green is always outcast. Not only does it have to share its position with Black, but there aren't really many noticable Green Rangers besides the God Ranger. I mean, usually, they are either comic relief or a reserved spot for a token insert race here with no character developement other than that they are a different race than the others. I'll admit, when I was eight, Joel was really the only noticable Lightspeed Ranger before Ryan, but other than that, I can't remember any others.

I bet you could:) But you are mostly naming events that happened in one specific episode. I guess what I was trying to say was that most of the girl rangers needed a love interest to be noticed. Maya, Kelsey, Katie, Alyssa, Taylor, are just some of the girls that were overlooked because of their lack of someone to swoon over.

Honestly not sure, I think in each season each ranger get their respected episodes to star in. But in the long run unfortunetly I guess it is the yellow rangers and green rangers.

I would go with Yellow for the most part except for seasons where Yellow represents the only female Ranger on the team. I haven't seen Ninja Storm or Mystic Force, so I don't know about male Yellows.

True, Green is often seen as an outcast later on in seasons.

In SPD, the green one was the Jewish one, and was the alien in Timeforce, was the ethnic minority spot in Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescue. Usually, they're treated as the class clown of the group, and are made to look stupid.

Obviously I'm ignoring Tommy and Adam in this because the role of a true Green Ranger had not let been defined as comic relief until Lost Galaxy.

Yellow male Rangers seem to share this role, Chip and Dustin for example.

*shakes head* there's several reasons for that, but essentially this:

A. middle eastern is probably one of the smallest demographics in the world., also they are a even smaller demographic in Canada and NewZealand where most of PR was/is shot. Hence getting anyone of ME descent is hard to begin with.

B. Most people of middle Earsten descent that I ever seen i wouldn't even notice if they didn't tell me. So there could have been Rangers that were at least partly descenced. Good example I went to school with this kid, his parents were Greek, he looked as Greek as the Parthanon, but is brother, same parents, was darn near my twin, and I'm Germanic.

C. I think you mean Arabian decent specifically, and same as above, nit all Arabians don't LOOK stereotypically Arabian and unless they are really dark, you couldn't tell unless have the beard and turban. young men don't typically dress like that(and in some places aren't allowed to have long beards like that), and hence blend in.

I never saw it as a girls' colour either what with most Black Rangers bearing it's light as you said.

I always treated Violet/Purple as the colour of evil though at one time.

Also Violet/Purple isn't a dark colour, it's only a dark colour if you've got a dark tone of it. You can get light shades of Violet/Purple.
