My personal prophecy for this: It's gonna blow chunks with the director that this article says they're using. The guy who directed Doom? Didn't Doom bomb at the Box office?

They should have Rob Zombie do this one.

Rob needs to stay the fuck away from it, while hes an improving director, his style doesnt fit into early NOES, maybe right at the end when Freddys more cartoonish, but when its meant to be all suspenseful and scary no

I love the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. But without Robert playing Freddie I'm not so sure it can be as good as the old ones. Hopefully it will be however, so I will go see it.

You know, I heard the dead brother from Freddy vs Jason (Oh that's right, everyone forgot about me"), the only other thing I know him from is Titus (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0205700/). Anyway, I heard somewhere that he was supposed to play Freddy.

His name is Zack Ward.

As cool as Ward is, he's not even in consideration for Freddy!

Since its a Michael Bay production, itll suck arse! Bay is hounding Billy Bob Thornton to play Freddy! And apprently Robert agrees that hed make a good Freddy.
