After reading the "what zords/powers are still active thread, something came to mind...

was rito that powerful?

the only reason why the thunderzords were destroyed is because they were caught off guard by like six or seven mosnters aside from rito, and it's not like we saw rito and zedd get a massive power boost necessitating new zords.

so my question is this: if it was just rito, would the rangers have won?

In respect, I think Rito was that powerful.

Hell, look at Goldar, he used to be a beast of a fighter, but was made weaker.

Same with Rito, he was vicious when we first saw him, then suffered the same thing Goldar did. They both became stupid and pathetic around the same time, Goldar obviously a bit earlier.

I don't know what the reason for this would be in-show, so I'm going to go with "The Moon Palace was under a curse" and be done with it.

I still reckon Rito would have put up a lot of fight alone, but he wouldn't have won against the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord, a Thunder Ultrazord would probably need to be used.

Having the other monsters made it easier for Rito to lock on.

Looking at his attacks, he'd probably give them a hard time if he was alone.

But after that, Rito suffered the same thing Goldar did, and became a mindless simpleton.

In my fanfic, Rito is able to hold his own against four Rangers (red and green Music Force and Lost Galaxy) for some time. I say he could have beaten either the Thunder Megazord or White Tigerzord on his own, but not both.

Rito kinda had this, "UH...what?....Oh....Oh yeah!" attitude when he was around so the thought is that by the rangers themselves, they should have been able to beat him. just throw a tough riddle at him and let him figure it out while they sent Rito packing.
