Well I think it's appropriate as he is every one's favorite almost green ranger for this season. I think it would be cool if we a had a discussion thread dedicated to him.

I have to say I like the character. He is funny and he seems like he will be willing to help out the team of rangers. Also he can do shadow puppets!

Dillon got an explanation as to what the "spandex" really was, but Ziggy got to clean the floors instead. Poor Ziggy. He also seems to be a bit of a crap talker. lol Ziggy is awesome.

to change the topic off the shadow puppets, but I feel Ziggy's type of character background is a new one for the ranger protocol. Usually the rangers had some sort of attribute to contribute to the team. And its about time a smack-talker, who can deal it, finally dawn on the ranger suit. Im so proud. in addition, i love the fact that he isnt like past rangers who are like super models, he actually looks like some one you might know.

Don't flame me for this, but he kind of reminds me of Justin, only taller, funnier, and not annoying. Hear me out. Justin was the Jason Todd of the Power Ranger Universe for reasons we all know and love to hate about him. He was a failed attempt at a different sort of ranger. Mainly for being an annoying little pest and being falsely categorized as a "genius."

Ziggy seems to me like Justin, but without all the flaws. I guess that's kind of a good thing I guess. Of course this is only judged on the first 3 episodes, so we probably need to wait for his character to be developed.

Yeah I like Ziggy, when RPM premiered though, I was like, ahaha WTf? He looks like a young Mad Scientist. And the way some other people are thinking 'What did he do wrong in the first place? Why are the others in jail [hella] mad at him?'

Hmm, it seems as even though Ziggy only played minor roles in the past three episodes, he's been getting the same rate of attention as Dillon, whose been the center of attention for all three episodes. I suspect a lot more episodes containing ZiggyxDillon interaction *fanlady swoon*, and tons of secrets revealed.

Bottonline: Ziggy seems to be one of the 'main' men.

Ziggy is easily my favorite character in RPM. Not many soon-to-be Rangers would make their first appearance by attempting to rob someone, but the way Ziggy fails at the attempt is just hilarious. He has an awesome sense of humor, and he delivers his one-liners in a way that makes them work; a lot of the stuff he says might have been awkward if a different PR actor had said them.

I like that in "Rain" we start to see a more serious side of him when he shows concern for the Rangers. He's able to extract himself from Fanboy Mode in order to find a way to help them. He's proven himself to be resourceful, so it probably wouldn't pay to underestimate this guy.

Agreed. And we still don't have any idea how he left Corinth in the first place, plus, he seems to know a wee too much about the opening/closing boundaries of Corinth. There has to be a lot more to him than he's letting slip.

I found it realistic that didn't know how to use his powers the first time he morphed.

I really liked that part. IMO, Ziggy should gradually become a 'ranger.' Sure, he donned the suit, but I'm waiting for him to don the responsibilites rather slowly. :)

He's great comedy, but so far the most incompetent ranger I have ever seen. I mean, with him this was the first time that the transition from original footage to sentai footage was distinguishable. Ziggy went from cowering behind Dillon to forming the blaster in no time lol. He needs to get a bit more serious because really, the situation that RPM set up so far was kinda pushed back when Ziggy of all the people became the green ranger.

I also hated his auditioning part. Why the rangers would even give clowns or guys on stilts a chance is hard to understand when the world is literally at stake is beyond me and I would've probably cut off Ziggy's credibility after one or two attempts. Still, he provides the humour and he's not campy like the past "goofball" rangers tend to be. So he's a good guy. I still have to see him being a good ranger (yeah I know, it's too early to say that and whatnot...)

Ziggy is the first non-extra Green Ranger I have liked...in a long time.

Never cared for Adam (Zeo), Carlos (Turbo), Damon (Lost Galaxy), Joel (Lightspeed Rescue), I did like Trip (Time Force), I also liked Bridge (SPD; but I liked Sky more), Wasn't a big fan of Xander (Mystic Force), nor did I particularly care for Master Phant (Jungle Fury).

So in my book, Ziggy joins the ranks of Trip and Bridge in the book of Non-extra Green Rangers that I have liked and enjoyed watching.

I liked Tommy (MMPR) and Cam (Ninja Storm) but they were Green Rangers (Extra), which is a separate category from me all together.

Agreed. In a way, I'm thinking Ziggy has a much bigger fish to fry in this show than he's letting on. I'm starting to think that he isn't an extra.

Green Rangers are my favorite, except for Tommy because I dislike him in any season. It's tough to say, but I think Ziggy is my favorite Green Ranger, maybe my favorite ranger out of all the seasons. With Bridge and Xander coming close though lol. It's going to be interesting to see how Dillon's and Ziggy's friendship changes throughout the season!

Maybe they've set RPM might not actually have a 'team' but instead teams of rangers. Give the blue, the red, and the yellow their priorities and then the black and the green their own set of duties. Doesn't always have to be one team with one mission at hand.
