Hi, fellow readers and writers, I'm Vincent Hodges. I am currently working on a series of PR rewrites called "Reloaded/Crossroads" (http://www.rangercrew.com/forum/showthread.php?8258-Crossroads-Discussion-Thread). When I get the opportunity, I'll be posting a Database containing information regarding the characters, stories, casts, etc. Until then, I'll provide details upon request/discussion here.

An ancient barbarian empire defeated long ago has returned, having sealed their souls within mechanical shells. To fight off the hostile Machine Syndicate the UOAH has commissioned three soldiers, an arms dealer and a hacker to form one of the last lines of defense for the remaining colonies of Earth. But all is not as it seems when a mysterious savior arrives in Corinth.

The technological threat has passed and the world has seemingly returned to normalcy. However, a automotive tycoon had begun salvaging the pieces of the Syndicate in order to complete his selfish goals. Fortunately a team of street racers and mechanics have stumbled upon his latest project and, learning of his plans for conquest, become the Power Rangers in an attempt to stop him.
The Mariner Bay Police Department receives help in apprehending the domestic terrorists, having been sent advanced prototype Ranger Series hardware. The MBPD recruits their Stealth Pursuit Division the task of bringing the Turbo Rangers in. But there is more going on than the involved parties are aware of.

When the faithless summon darkness beyond the norm...

"Though our bodies have been reincarnated, we must wait. For we are but shadows during final vistages of this lunar cycle. The true resurrection of the Necross will be at hand and this world shall fall!"
A great tremor violently shook the coastal city, leaving the chamber pitch black. All that remained of the group or their ritual was the shape of the pentagram burned into the stone floor as the sun rose over an unsuspecting Angel Grove that Friday the 13th.
...
The monarch stood in the center of the room and raised her right hand towards the back wall, opening a portal similar to the one she emerged from. Amidst the swirling violet, sapphire and crimson and black abyss, known to those familiar with it as the Nexus, were various wisps of flame - the souls of warriors and beasts long since forgotten hover aimlessly about the forsaken realm.

Six will be called on to weather the storm...

The breeze entered inside a large chamber, carrying a mysterious whisper that echoed a single word, "Dimitria".
"What is happening, my master?" she asked aloud, eyes still shut as if between a trance and a meditative state.
"Dimitria, the time has come." the voice informed. Dimitria's quickly eyes opened, filled with shock and a slight hint of fear
"She has awakened? But how?"
"Someone has tampered with forces far more powerful than they could handle... The fifth sign has passed..."
"The fifth sign?"
"Yes and I sense that the sixth and final sign - the worst of them - is on the horizon."
"I shall make the preparations"



Everything will change in an instant...

Their hooded host walked into the trio of terminals and stood between the teenagers, dropping the cloak to reveal a beautiful woman who appeared to be no more than five years older than them. Her skin was pale, the hair draped over her exposed shoulders gleamed like the night sky.
With eyes brown like the leaves of autumn, a glimmer of hope shone in them as she replied "I am Dimitria, keeper of the Oracle."

"As long as there was sentient life, there has been a struggle between those with the desire to do good and those with the desire to commit evil. This battle was also waged across the stars, fought in the blood of the innocent and the wicked. My master, Zordon, desired to end the injustices and the violence. He created an elite group of warriors to assist him in his efforts. A force that was known by various names in many a tongue, but all who encountered them knew they represented the Order of Meledon.
With the aide of these master warriors, Zordon defeated Necronomica and her followers. She agreed to a truce, only to betray my master once again, separating his spirit from his corporeal form. Before she could do anymore damage, the great sage and his band of warriors sealed the Necross legions away in their own incomplete paradise, the Shadow World, a phantom realm where they were thought to have been banished for eternity. My master however, thought something like this would occur, so he summoned me to work with ALPHA in an effort to continue operations in the case of a threat from like-minded individuals similar to the Necross."



Through a power old and distant...

"Zack, suave and resilient, be one with the Mammoth and defend with pride"....
"Kimberly, graceful and swift, may the Pteranodon take you to incredible heights"...
"Adam, patient and wise, the Triceratops shall guide and protect you"...
"Trini, fearless and steadfast, take on the Similodon and strike down those who threaten the innocent"...
The woman walked up to Jason, placing the palm of her right hand over his cheek as a loving mother would. Jason found that he could not pull away from her. Her touch was soothing and quelled whatever fear took residence within him.
"Jason, strong and courageous, with the Tyrannosaurus you shall lead the team just as your ancestor had"
A sensory overload flooded Jason's mind. He felt a familiar presence, something powerful enough that its very essence shook him. To the others, white light shone from the woman's hand onto his cheek, causing the pendant to glow as tendrils of crimson light escaped its confines around Jason's neck. The tendrils traced over his body, turning into a cluster of erratic electricity before changing again into a gentle aura as the surge receded.



From out of the Darkness comes Light...

Jason clenched his fist, turning the aura into bolts of electricity. He quickly tucked his arm back as if he was going into a ready stance from one of his forms. A surge of red energy pulsed from his heart down his right arm, forming an eight-sided silver buckle over his knuckles, affixed to his hand by a solid black strap.
"Looks like it's morphin' time!" Zack declared.
His comrades voiced the agreement, copying Jason's movements.
....Jason, feeling the surge of power coming off of his friends, raised the box in his hands higher. "Tyrannosaurus Primal Power!" he bellowed.
A strange sensation washed over Jason's body as crimson energy surged from the device through his arms and down the rest of his body.
Jason looked down at his armored body, he wiggled his fingers and clenched his fists to test the white plated gauntlets. They were like his own hands only slightly heavier... The maroon knight shook off the sight of his transformed peers and set his sights on the gold plated foe standing on the ridge above them.
"T-this is IMPOSSIBLE!" Gryphain exclaimed, the evident shock on his face.
"Oh, it's very possible! Let's show 'em what we can do." Jason suggested.

And heroes willing to stand and fight...

Everyone stood silent, looking around and weighing their options. Jason shook his head, electing to speak up first.
"I say we do it. To defend those who can't stand themselves... You can count me in." affirmed Jason, placing his fist down in the center of the group.
"The balance between good and evil has to be maintained, right? Fate managed to bring us together, we might as well stand united for a just cause!" Adam added, along with his hand.
All eyes fell on Billy, who stood looking as if he had to press the proverbial button. "Anything to protect the people I care about" he finally spoke, adding his hand into the mix.
Dimitria extended her arms outward in exultation.
"Then it is agreed. By the Order of Meledon, I christen thee the new generation of Rangers of the Power, defenders of the peace and all that is good. May the Power be with you always."

Wow! Thanks! I've been working this series out for the last like 13-15 months and I'm just now going through the necessary revisions. The closest release date for the first "episodes" of Season 1 should be this summer/fall.

"They say it gets easier. Trust me when I say it never gets easier. This stuff turns brother against brother, fathers against sons, nations crumble and society struggles to rebuild.

Ever since the war started, it never gets easier.

The Metal came back... They have a penchant for that... Resilency. Ha! A machine being capable of emotion, being determined to fulfill its mission. Hard to believe, but in the past six years pretty much anything is possible.

They rounded up as many of us as they could, put us into camps, making us work to build more of them. Drones designed to hunt and kill sentient beings. It never gets easier. Help arrived in the form of a ragtag group under the command of Colonel Mason Truman. He pulled us together and made sure everyone felt safe...at home.
Home. It's a place I wish I knew. Despite everything I still don't know if my family's okay. Hell, they probably think I'm the one that's MIA or worse...

They say it gets easier the more of those things you scrap. You get better at it, but it never gets easier. They keep upgrading, rebuilding, reprogramming and shipping them out. I see now that their trying to opt for quality rather than quantity. That's a machine for you, going for whatever's efficient.

Well, we got ourselves something that can up the ante and possibly turn this game of human/machine chess in our favor. She found out the secret to the crystal...make that crystals...and now we stand a chance.

Five individuals are to be selected. They have to endure trials...a battery of tests or some crap like that. I say the best tactic is an organized offensive. The sooner we get those 'Ranger Operators' out on the battlefield the better. Maybe this war did get a little bit easier.... Then again, when you're playing chess, it's best to know the opponent's next move. Once we get situated we're shipping out for Zion and Jericho. It'll be awhile before we see Corinth again."

Jason Lee Scott is the son of Evan and Victoria Scott. After the divorce, Evan takes his frustrations out on his son, constantly pushing him to not make the same mistakes as he had. This in turn led to Evan living the life he wished for but missed through Jason, putting an even greater strain on the father and son's already struggling relationship.
Jason had been working at Qilin Star since the summer along with Trini, yet he never got to know her personally. It wasn't until the day they would become Power Rangers that Jason attempted to get to know the reclusive young woman and learned that they weren't as different as he had originally thought.
Jason is a specialist in kendo and an unspecified variety of mixed martial arts. Aside from his hobbies, Jason is a star quarterback for the Angel Grove High Wildwings, being an avid football fan since he was a kid. Due to his athletic background, Jason has one of the greatest social standings, garnering many fans and admirers. But when no one's around, Jason's true feelings are made visible, he is miserable and disappointed with his life. He regrets letting his father decide his path in life, secretly wishing he could have chosen for himself. These negative emotions Jason had been forced to hold back, built up over the years, eventually taking shape in Jason quitting football to spite his father.
It is through Zordon, Dimitria and the Ranger team that Jason gains the opportunity to exorcise the demons in his heart and mind and create his own path.

Trini Kwan is the exact opposite of Kimberly Hart: Kim is the opinionated girl next door, surrounded by friends and admirers, whereas Trini is a loner with a philosophical outlook on life and very few friends. Despite her tough-girl exterior, Trini is the pillar of strength in the group, often using words of wisdom from her grandmother to inspire and uplift her friends when things aren't their brightest.
Though Trini may have a positive aura in her words, things are not as they seem. Trini was always obedient and respectful of her family. When her mother refused to let Trini to follow her dreams, she had an epiphany: she was practically a doll, dressed up and made pretty by her family. Trini cut her hair short and began to wear darker makeup, refusing to be someone she was not.
Trini chose to wear her emotions, claiming the moody look was the real her. However, some people - namely Kira Ford - believe that Trini is a hypocrite due to the fact that she continues to uphold her philosophical values despite the punk-like appearance and attitude.

Adam is a shy young man who usually keeps to himself, but he stands up for what he believes in when challenged.
Adam was raised in Stone Canyon by his grandfather. Sadly the wise elderly man passed away at the start of the summer, leading to Adam moving in with his best friend Rocky DeSantos and his family.
After Mr. DeSantos accepted a promotion that would send him and his family to Angel Grove, Rocky asked Adam whether he wanted to stay in Stone Canyon or come along. Adam accepted his offer, moving to Angel Grove about a month before Sophomore year started.
The day of the Dark Storm, Adam and Rocky were enjoying the last free Friday before school resumed. Their relaxation, however, came to a screeching halt when the golems of Atlas began to besiege the helpless park-goers. Teaming up with Kimberly Hart, the teens forced the creatures to retreat. Adam was then called by fate to take up the mantle of the Blue Ranger.

Kimberly Ann Hart, or more simply "Kim", is the typical valleygirl, completely devoted to shopping and maintaining her high social status. Though somewhat vain, Kimberly is very insecure, always considering the opinions of others' rather than her own.
Kimberly comes from a family of pilots: her father Kyle serves in the air force and her uncle Steve works as a commercial pilot, while her mother tried life as a flight attendant but settled for a career as a fashion designer. Steve also taught Kim how to fly, helping her get a pilot's license rather than a driver's license, much to her chagrin.
Like Jason, Kimberly's parents are also divorced. Though she usually lives with her mother Christine in Angel Grove, Kim spends random weekends in Miami, Florida with her father, Kyle.
It was Jason and Kimberly's parents who set them up, agreeing that Kim would make an excellent trophy wife for Jason and Jason would keep Kimberly happy with lavish gifts from his professional football career. Things did not bode well for the couple as both of their parents got divorced and the pressure of being perfect slowly chipped away at the teens' spirits. Eventually Kim and Jason broke up on seemingly bad terms but remained friends, distant friends, but friends nonetheless.
As a member of the Power Rangers she is the Pink Ranger and resident aerialist of the team.

Zachary Taylor, known to most as Zack, was born with deep roots in Louisiana, but the family moved to California in order to further his father's career as a jazz musician.
As he grew up watching his "Pops" at various nightclub gigs, Zack found that the music was in his heart as well.
Eventually settling down in Angel Grove Zack became best friends with Jason Scott. Ever since childhood, Zack and Jason were practically inseparable, always watching the other's back. Even in their teenage years when Kim and Aisha taking major roles in their lives, somehow they managed to remain close though they spent less time together.
Eventually Zack befriended fellow Rangers Trini and Adam as well as Adam's best friend Rocky.
When not attending school or playing bass in his own Jazz/Rock band, Zack spends his free time working as the local DJ for UCAG campus radio station.
When the storm began, Zack was forced to shut the studio down and lock up for the afternoon. He came across Billy in downtown Angel Grove when the storm picked up, delivering dark blots from the sky which transformed into humanoid mud-based creatures that began attacking everything in sight.
Ranger activities aside, Zack often does local news updates on monster attacks and the Power Rangers' most recent battles.

Having been born with a severe auditory sensitivity, Tony and Erin Cranston kept their son close, having developed an strong sense of protectiveness for the young Billy. They refused to let him have friends or attend public, going as far as personally home schooling Billy just so that he did not have to deal with adapting to strangers. To escape the endless helicopter-parenting, Billy immersed himself in science, a subject that had always interested him.
At the age of 11 Billy requested that his parents allow him to attend public school. Determined to sway his reluctant birth-givers, Billy created a presentation listing his reasons and the advantages of his experiences at school. His plan worked and they allowed him to attend Yost Junior High along with Trini Kwan, the daughter of a couple they trusted whom Billy grew close to.
Though Billy excelled in his coursework he was teased by his peers, but Billy took Trini's advice to not let the words get to him and persevere. It was during this time that the two took an interest in environmentalism after a seminar at Earth Day. By choice, Billy is a vegan, often seen with a granola bar as a "between project snack".
Billy and Trini had graduated from Yost and planned on attending Angel Grove High however, the Cranstons were fearful of Billy's involvement in high school. Trini spoke up for Billy, saying that she would look after him. The first year was hellish, but Billy got through it by focusing on his schoolwork and his projects at home.

Billy was one of Angel Grove's top students and researchers. Having taken an interest in solar energy and its effect on life, Billy devoted his time and energy into harnessing solar power and began experiments. Cranston was conducting tests prior to the storm alongside Kendrix Morgan and Ethan James when he remembered that he promised Trini he would attend the Senior mixer. Billy immediately was the target of tormentors Conner and Heath, but with Jason, Zack, Adam and Rocky behind him Billy realized he had friends and grew closer to them. Being a member of the AGCDC, Billy set out to the Emergency Operations Center in Central Station but never made it, he was caught in the same anomaly that took Jason and the others.
Billy is a distinguished member of the Angel Grove City Development Committee due in part to his assistance in developing a more efficient utility and transit network, essentially evolving Angel Grove into a high-tech, but ecological, utopia. It was during the latest chain of events where Billy's skills really shone through, creating feedback generators to capture some of the vast amounts of energy released. Billy recorded his findings and reported them to the Committee, calling the natural disasters more supernatural than natural, earning ridicule and perplexed stares from the board members.
Billy found himself in total disbelief at the wonders of the Command Center. However, the feeling was quite legitimate as he pointed out the ludicrousness of inter-dimensional travel and beings from parallel worlds. Billy along with Zack and Kimberly left the Command Center, determined to get home and forget the "trip" from the spiked punch. Unfortunately their predicament became a sullen reality as Gryphain and a squadron of Nightmaren attacked the trio. Weakened from the beings' explosive emergence, the teens were at the mercy of the demonic mercenaries. Due to the timely intervention of Jason, Adam and Trini, the others were saved. But the nightmare continued as the shadow creatures briefly brutalized the group. The teens finally followed the directions given to them by Dimitria and became Power Rangers for the first time. Billy was awestruck but was quickly teleported back to the Command Center and informed of his role in the renewed war. The scholar immediately took to his position as taskmaster and guided the Rangers through their initial transformation.
As a member of the Ranger team, Billy serves as a technical advisor, overseeing and managing the systems during combat alongside ALPHA, as well as building and modifying equipment for the team to use, his most notable inventions being the team communicators. Billy uses his connections in the AGCDC to create false reports in order to cover-up the damage caused by the Power Rangers' battles.

Dimitria is Zordon's apprentice and liaison to the Rangers. She is adept in the mystical aspects of the Morphing Grid while Billy handles the technological portion. Compared to her proxy Necronomica, whose enfeebling, dark magic originates from a perverse connection to the Morphing Grid, Dimitria uses her powers to safeguard the Rangers and civilians.
Dimitria is also a fairly skilled fighter, capable of holding her own against a small group of Nightmaren.
When Necronomica was released, Zordon sent Dimitria to find the five descendants of the Archa civilization and bring them to their secret base so they could learn the truth about the chain of events leading to that day.

The Automated Logistics Positronic Hardware Alcove version 5.0 - more commonly known to the teens as ALPHA 5 or ALPHA - serves as the database of the Command Center. ALPHA was built on the planet Edenoi and presented to Zordon as a gift for his efforts on the planet during the last war campaign. Zordon programmed the computer with the various codes and vectors of the Morphing Grid and in turn created a conduit in the computer, making it self-aware.

In Zordon's battle with Necronomica, ALPHA served as a geographical scout for Zordon's forces. Following his friend and master's banishment, ALPHA gathered vast amounts of intelligence over the centuries. When Dimitria arrived on Earth to carry on Zordon's work, ALPHA was reluctant to work with the Inquirian due to a paternal bond with its former master. Eventually Zordon spoke to ALPHA through their connection in the Morphing Grid and convinced the artificial intelligence to trust in Dimitria. ALPHA also has a connection to the Oracle Crystal, creating the new levels of the Command Center and altering the main chamber's internal appearance.

When Necronomica was revived, Dimitria called on ALPHA to help her seek out the descendants of "The Five". Understanding that a moderator between the ethereal Zordon and the "primitive" humans would be essential, ALPHA sought out a brilliant mind it had recently been studying, one William "Billy" Cranston.
ALPHA was intrigued with Billy's intellect and wanted to learn more about him. The intellectual mind and artficial intelligence got off to a rough start during their first engagement, but they would come to respect one another as they spend more time together.

Zordon is a powerful sage from the planet Eltar. Over two millennia ago he fought Necronomica alongside five powerful warriors called Power Rangers who repelled her forces. Necronomica was one of the sages throughout the universe with a connection to a universal energy known as the Power. Necronomica tapped into the Power and became seduced by its limitless potential and the infinite possibilities it possessed. Upon learning that his apprentice and friend had become consumed by the very essence they were to protect, the power they were to utilize to keep the universe in balance, Zordon went to Earth to see if he could talk some sense into Necronomica. The wise sage discovered that the primitive human race was being enslaved by the sorceress, forced to construct temples and statues in her honor. He found that there were five tribes that had been trying to rebel against her but a great number of them had been destroyed or enslaved as well. Zordon learned that each tribe had a "guardian beast" and sought them out. After a long search Zordon had found the five creatures and sensed something great within them, something familiar. Then it occurred to him that what he sensed was a trace of the Power. Zordon used a technique to channel the Power from within the five beasts and, with the help of another member of his order, crafted five gold treasures known as the Power Coins. Zordon found a member of each tribe whom the coins reacted strongly to and he knew that they were the ones to wield the Power within these coins. The five warriors fought bravely against the imposing force of Necronomica's army. Necronomica decided that she would deal with the warriors herself but ended up crossing weapons with Zordon instead. The forces of light and dark clashed for what seemed like eternity until Zordon executed a risky technique: with himself and Necronomica wounded Zordon could instigate a sealing technique that may remove him from existence. Necronomica's soldiers and enforcers were the first to go, the two exhausted sages continued to clash even as the life ebbed from their bodies, until Zordon and his Rangers combined their attacks to cast the dark sorceress into the Shadow World she had created in order to remake the Earth as she saw fit. After the sealing of Necronomica and her forces, Zordon told the warriors that there was a chance that Necronomica would return and that they should preserve the Power Coins, passing them down throughout the generations. After giving the five warriors his blessing, Zordon himself went into a sealed stasis to preserve his gravely wounded body and fatigued mind and spirit. Six years after Necronomica's revival, Zordon returned from his slumber still weakened from his previous battle but well-versed in the ways of the Power. Zordon, still willing to stop the forces of darkness but unable to immediately return from his pilgrimage, sent Dimitria instructions (in the form of visions) to alert her of the necessary preparations for the impending threat.

Morgana Damaskinos is a rogue Wiccan, one who soon turned to, and eventually specialized in, demonic rituals.
One Friday the 13th Morgana began a ritual to release dark spirits to do away with everyone who scorned her and the members of her new coven. When she was almost finished speaking the incantation, Morgana liberated forces she could not control. The most powerful of the dark spirits overtook the girl and Necronomica -the Mistress of Dark Magic- returned.
Her first act was to revive her fallen empire, starting with her lieutenants. The two males and one female assisting in the ritual became the new bodies for these lieutenants. Though initially weak after her second revival, Necronomica was still capable of creating a small force to decimate at least one city for the time being, the closest one being Angel Grove.
Seeing Zordon's new apprentice Dimitria summon and appoint new defenders of the human race, Necronomica sent her top lieutenant and her new breed of soldiers to do away with the three reluctant members of this would-be team. Following this failure, she sought out a way to corrupt The Power. After creating the failed Necross versions of the Rangers, Necronomica tried a new tactic, the long forgotten power of the Dragon.
