rooted against the rangers? I have on numerous times, i can remember when the green ranger destroyed the command center, had a chance to slice Jason to pieces, and broke in to their zords, and without breaking a sweat, i can remember hoping (to an extent) that he would succeed, in the first movie, I often stopped the movie (when only I was watching it) after the powers were gone. and the best one was during the Psycho Ranger saga. what are your thoughts?

i did during jungle fury. i felt the villians were more interesting then the rangers. i loved daishi/jarrod and camille and how they interacted with the other villians

sometimes during In Space when I wanted Ecliptor to win majority of the fights.

I think I voted more for Zen-Aku then I did for the Wild Force Rangers, but other than that, no.

I root for Goldar every time...It hasn't worked out for me very well.

I agree Night_Fang. IMO there was more depth the interaction between the villains.
I rooted against the Rangers off and on...IN THE SAME SEASONS, lol.
Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Junle Fury just to name a few...

This thread made me imagine Forever Red turning out differently: everybody but Cole ignores Carter when he says that there isn't time to get to the Astro Megaship and Carter reluctantly runs after the others. Cole is so engrossed in his plan to destroy Serpentera that he doesn't notice the others run off and he tries to carry out his plan only to get himself and the Wild Rider vaporized. The other Red Rangers bring the Astro Megazord online one last time and destroy Serpentera by finding a weak spot and attacking it. Later the other Red Rangers celebrate at the hangar on Earth and none of them notice that Cole is gone. :D

I always root for the rangers because I like to be on the winning side (and we ALL know who that will ineviably be).

I agree, almost everything, I found myself rooting Koragg on. He was just too cool.

I also rooted for Ecliptor, Zen-Aku, and Diabolico.

Ecliptor was an EXCELLENT fighter against the rangers, I thought better than Goldar was in the third season pf MMPR, after Rito joined Goldar kind of became second banana, which i thought was stupid, almost the same thing happened in space after Darkonda came, but Ecliptor was used the same amount, I liked Diabolico, he was alot better than Vipra.

I totally agree. JF was so much more about the villains.

I think the reason we do this is because if history serves, we pretty much know the rangers will always win. Rooting for the bad guy brings a little suspense into the mix.
