Saturn Has Small Moon Hidden in Ring (http://news.aol.com/article/saturn-hidden-moon/367747)
Okay, we've known about Saturn for a couple thousand years now, right? So how is it that no one has found out about this small moon till now? That's a little weird.
What do you guys think?

And well, its understandable really, with technological advances, we're able to see alot of stuff we couldn't even attempt to see like 10 years ago...Pretty cool though.

It is a couple thousand isn't it? Didn't they discover Saturn in the 15 century?

Maybe it magically appeared...
lol seriously, it's just technology I suppose. I still can't differentiate the actual "moon" in those pictures but maybe it's not visible to the naked eye or something. Still interesting though...
Here's an article (http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/moon_definition_040103.html) you might find interesting.

That's not even close to a couple thousand.

lol Okay well, that brings me back to my original question. How did they not find this till recent? With our advanced tech in the world, surely you would think someone, somewhere would've noticed this long before now.

Maybe it happened when we weren't looking. Something could have crashed into the side of Saturn that we couldn't see from Earth.
I've heard that rings around a planet are only possibly because of the influence of the gravity of moons orbiting around the planet. This supposed moon inside the rings of Saturn that I can't even make out in the picture doesn't seem like a proper moon since instead of influencing the formation of Saturn's rings with its gravity, it's actually part of the rings themselves.

The reason we didn't find it until now is in the article name.
"Hidden" in Saturn's ring.
